I understand KO has an injury and it slowed him down in ring but both guys looked very lethargic and not interested
IMO AJ brought it as he usually does but it seemed those two didn't really have it tonight
KO since he came to SD has taken a step down and while I enjoy him and Sami as team I think the sooner they go to the tag title scene, the better

They've been like the opposite of bringing it since HIAC it's so disappointing.

They looked like clowns that are not on AJ's level, before AND after the match.

They're great as a duo, but they desperately need to do some stuff in the tag division for a while. The Shane/Bryan/AJ story has been underwhelming and a feud with New Day/Usos/Rusev & English would be a much better fit for them.

It seems just being the rumble undercard title match just demotivates everyone.

I had an epiphany tonight that I have absolutely no idea when the last time was Owens was actually any good in the ring. Guy's been putting on bad match after bad match for like a year and a half now.

He does good character work but as soon as the bell rings I stop caring

The fact that him and AJ had no chemistry really is damning I liked his match with Shane for what it was but KO has seemed to be on cruise control for a good min now

Owens did prove wrong my theory that Styles could have a good match with anybody, so I guess there's that.

I love Kevin, but yeah, both of them have looked like they want to go home for pretty much their entire Smackdown run.

Owens has been so hit and miss for me since he won the Universal Championship.
Universal Title win = neat moment, was interested in where they were going with it Actual Universal Title reign = boring as f*** Festival of Friendship betrayal = awesome New Face of America = terrible Early work during the feud with Shane = best heel in the company right now, strap him up! Whatever the f*** this is = boring

It's more of a knock on Owens at this point because Owens has dragged a decent match out of everyone including Jinder

I think the problem might lie in the babyface champion getting a tainted win and the babyface authority figure stating that they are getting screwed. This is likely leading to Shane & someone against the two of them at Mania w/DB as special ref. Not sure how motivating that is.

And to Kevin's defense, it can be a little tricky to get motivated when your opponent is spouting an insult as corny as Kami/Cami at you and your tag partner. Idiot soap opera writers.

But the Kami stuff wasn't happening last summer Their U.S title feud was bad because non of the matches clicked and they didn't really have a good match until Summerslam and that was still way down on AJ Styles list of matches
