The sad part out of all this is the racist jackass probably made 7 figures just to get kicked off the damn show.

My premise for the new show...
Dan Conner did die at the end of the original series. Now he's back as a guardian angel, helping people at a community center (all played by the same actors from the series but as new characters) by posing as the janitor and giving out helpful and humourous advice.

Your thoughts on the Nash posts? Nash: "That time I appeared on Roseanne, 8,000,000,000 watched the show" Reporter: "But Earth's population is 7,632,819,325...not that many people are alive nor do they all have television" Nash: "They did that night!" This should get 100 likes, that’s good shit.

This kinda sickens me, "Roseanne" was my favorite new show and FINALLY the public agreed with me-- the best hit "according to the Nielsen numbers" ABC has had since "LOST" and always #1 in ratings on it's timeslot. To cancel an entire meritorious tv series due to one single Tweet by the showrunner/star is pretty sad. I know she has IP rights to the series so ABC couldn't just, say, fire Roseanne Barr and continue the series on as if she'd died like in "Valerie's Family" ("Valerie" died, they continued the show on for 2 more season writing the character's/actor's death into the show). There is so much gold that could come from a modern-day Roseanne, not for nothing they already dealt HUGELY with race-relations regarding Rosie's East-Indian neighbors, and DJ's black daughter. The show could've just aired an "extra special" episode where Rosie is politically-correct for the entire episode as penance for a kayfabe social blunder on the show (calling her neighbors a 'monkey' for instance but instantly regretting it and having social media pounce on her moment of irrationality). It would have been a perfect episode, but nooooooo-- let's just cancel the damn show altogether. I kinda hate network television, and I'm kinda scared how SDLive will operate under these conditions as a result She was tremendously f***ing racist and is still being incredibly racist on twitter despite getting her show cancelled. And now I am wondering if they could have disciplined her during the summer instead of firing her. Only cause they do have months before the show restarts in the fall. (Not that I am on one side or the other...was not a big Roseanne fan anyway...actually, I'll be happier if that Sue Heck spinoff is real. Hmmmm, are spinoffs the new reboots?) As long as they don't turn the show into a preachy show that leans a certain direction to make up for what Roseanne did, I suppose.

Disney, follow your own advice and let it go. They need to recoup money spent on the show. Why take a loss on that when they have a shot at recouping the money and maybe even having another hit on their hands?

Yeah it could be a hit (see: The Hogan Family lasting for seasons after Valerie Harper, never mind Lorimar being a bunch of scummos). Then again...Laverne: Where's Shirley? The Man. (no Chico, you see.) Two and a Half Men Which Is Actually Now A Woman.

Why take a loss on that when they have a shot at recouping the money and maybe even having another hit on their hands? Yeah, this essentially fulfills contracts and guaranteed money already promised. Now they have to work for it and not sit around getting paid for nothing. Win win for everyone. Except Roseanne, which is what it is. This is interesting because they originally thought she was hard to work with in the 80s and asked the cast to stay on as The Conners and kill the Roseanne character off, and Goodman and company said no.

I think “The Conners” will fail
Look at 2 and 1/2 men
Not saying Roseanne is near Charlie sheen levels but it was never the same without him

The Connors might work because the rest of the cast has the talent to pull it off, provided they don't screw with things too much

Also seems like they're going to hire back as much as the production crew as possible, who deserve the work and shouldn't have had to suffer for Roseanne Barr being an insane and awful excuse of a human being.

They can just write Roseanne off as "she died on her way to her home planet"(Planet Loon) and that's all.

My guess and really, the best and easiest way to write her off is to say she didn't survive her knee surgery

Replace her with the actress that played the second Aunt Vivian on Fresh Prince.
