I think Jackie being over the top, is hilarious. When she was a cop, and one of the kids came to her for advice, she always mentioned being a cop, or on the force. I liked that they brought that back, in the 2nd episode, I can't remember what her job was, but she did it again  |

I did watch the premiere two episodes in one. Would it be appointment TV? Nah, was never a big fan of it. But I will say the lockable topic here didn't seem as mean spirited nor as preachy as it is on other programs.

Honestly never found Roseanne herself funny. Writing was good, cast was good, she is-has been awful.
That said, any time Goodman can get paid, I'm for that.

I enjoyed the episodes and apparently Sara Gilbert has said the political stuff will be toned down from here on out. Since she's an executive producer apparently I'm apt to believe her. That said I can generally separate Roseanne the character and Roseanne the person. Much like I can separate certain wrestlers from their personalities

So the major characteristic of Darlene's son is that he dresses weird? Boy, that's some compelling character-building there... The kid is a good actor so I hope they give him a lot more character development.

My only problem with the politics in the show is that, based off Roseanne's character in the original, I doubt there's any way she'd have voted Republican. Then again, stuff has gotten crazy.

On a lighter note, I just realized that Diesel's theme song was a knockoff of the Roseanne theme, only with a truck horn at the beginning.

Roseanne proved to me the last 24 hrs that she is the definition of stupid idiot. I loved the reboot and the show but what she did was something that saying "I'm sorry" for and except us to be ok with that. Anybody who can have those thoughts, type it out, and click post and not think well maybe this is a bad idea, deserves to have a show cancelled. I feel bad for all the cast members and crew who just lost there jobs over this but only one person to blame.
