Regardless, if they broke her contract she's entitled to sue. Just pay up, $200 billion company. "Well bro... we killed her character bro, so it's not like she's coming back for more movies bro, so..." Fixed

Disney "callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.”
Also Disney: Charges people an extra 30 to watch the movie on top of the subscription fee... in the middle of pandemic

Didn’t Disney also fire a bunch of theme park workers even though they clearly could have afforded to keep them…during a global pandemic?

Now Emma Stone is reported to be weighing her options due to ScarJo's lawsuit.
All you had to do was renegotiate the f***ing contracts, Disney, and this wouldn't be happening. You'd figure some accountant or lawyer would have told them "If you don't renegotiate the contracts, and they sue, it's gonna cost a lot more. Renegotiate and save the money, and don't take the PR hit."

Disney cutting their nose to spite their face What the f*** is wrong with you, pay the woman her money. Do you realize how many people won't f*** with you behind this It’s not even just not paying her, it’s deliberately setting out to cut into paying the percentage on the agreed terms by making it include streaming so, like…how did you not think a lawyer wouldn’t have seen that happening? Did Disney hope everyone has Matt Riddle’s Lawyer and prints stuff off on label paper?

Did Disney hope everyone has Matt Riddle’s Lawyer and prints stuff off on label paper? This most likely would have worked with the newer actors they got on board, but you pulled this shit with ScarJo on her way out knowing she and her lawyers know the game and have been used to seeing big checks In fairness to them, they did wait as long as possible to put this out the devil is in the details. They could have never put this out for "free" or on a trial like Wonder Woman (HBO Max) because they would had to restructure ScarJo deal

Disney not only trying to make ScarJo look like some sort of COVID-denier but also acting like one of those "we paid you in ~exposure~" scam artists on Instagram. And now Kevin Feige is pissed, too.
What a bunch of dirtbags.

This is also the same company that thanked the CCP for their hospitality after filming 'Mulan' next to a Uighur concentration camp.
...in the middle of a global pandemic.
...in the country the pandemic originated from.
F*** Disney.

Oh boy I sure do hate to see Disney getting so much heat and flack for their own nefarious actions.
Hope they (and anyone else that’s been getting f***ed by them) gets paid.

I believe I also saw something about Emma Stone considering a similar lawsuit for Cruella. Disney needs to settle this quickly because Rocky could be coming soon.

This isn’t a selective company mandate. Hell, this isn’t even the first company that tried royalty dodging this past year. CBS Viacom did it to Dave Chappelle, the aforementioned Warner Bros example with Legendary Pictures, Disney did it with the Star Wars writers. And don’t get me started on corporate tax dodging, which is a whole can of worms. This is a corporation doing ways to not pay people the money they should which might as well be The American Way if so many other countries with major corporations didn’t copy.
