Is February still the dead month where studios dump movies? It sort of depends. The perception kind of changed when Black Panther came out in February but that might have been the exception rather than a new rule but internationally, February was always where the rest of the Oscar movies went and those do moderately fine. Sonic might do well being the only family movie for release this February if anything. Also helps it’s opening on Valentine’s Day |

When they mean “leaked”, they mean “created by a Croatian graphics artist as a weird social experiment”, right?
Because it doesn’t take much for places like Complex to go to the URL at the bottom and then the Instagram page and see the context for it. I should know because I did that.

The Fifty Shades series, the original LEGO Movie and Deadpool all had massive success opening in February. Much like TV, there's really no "seasons" for movies any more (except "awards season" in November/December) |

You can open a film at any time if you make it seem like a big deal. |

As with all claimed leaks, take it with a grain of salt: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}   If this is legit, its certainly an improvement. Doesn't completely resemble him, but its a lot closer to a promotional image circa 1991 than the awful design in the trailer. |
