Why, though? Just because he puts it up doesn't obligate you to contribute to it. Exactly This is really no diff than anything else as people use shit like Go Fund me for a lot of diff things but you aren’t obliged to do so It's not a good look for him, it comes off as if he's begging for money.

Punk and Colt could put on an indy show that would raise thousands, or do a series of podcasts, rather than ask fans to pay for nothing.

Once again you don’t have to and nobody is forcing you If you do it, it’s because you want to not because you’re getting something on the other side People can easily ignore that shit like I am because no way I’m giving that boy a dime of anything without this full story coming out

I care because there are good causes in wrestling from people that really need the money like Jerry Gray, not f***ing Colt Cabana's legal fees.

Bring up the people who actually need and help them because I can assure you their will be more complaints about a man who doesn’t need help then encouragement for someone who does

Guys move past either guy having kickstarters, if they even actually them. If you don't like it then don't donate to it. Simple.

It’s like every other woman in wrestling that has an Amazon wish list. It comes off like “Buy me stuff because I’m pretty!” Cabana suggested getting his fans to cover his fees because he knows he’s popular and has a following. It’s definitely cringy. All Cabana had to do was respond to the email and the letter from the doctor and his lawyer. He told Punk he wanted to ignore them. That’s how Cabana wanted to handle the situation. That was his choice. His debt is on him unless it can be proven that Punk is responsible for it. From what I’ve seen in Cabana’s exhibits Punk was helping him, not covering all his costs. And bless Jerry Grey. His stories on the 6:05 podcast are absolutely amazing.

Would it make a big difference if he said he's trying to raise money and if they donate $25 dollars they get a T shirt, $50 a signed photo, $100 a raffle for a meet and greet etc.....
People buy his merch so I don't think it's farfetched to think they would give him money with no return. I personally don't see a big deal but you will have people calling him a bum and whatever else
My thing is at the end of the day you don't have to give him anything at all and those who do know what they are getting into
Last i'm saying on that tho since I would be repeating myself from now on

Ironically in an early AOW episode Sara del Ray went into a great rant against the women who did the Amazon wish list and how they took advantage of fans. Yeah I wish I was a millionaire so I could set Jerry up and have him do his own podcast, I laughed for a full week when I heard his story about Steve Williams shoot wrestling some fat rat in a hotel room.

It was kind of drilled into me from a young age to never put anyone on a pedestal. Pedestals are ok I feel as long as you understand and aren't blinded by it. But there's gotta be levels and logic involved. A Bronx Tale's scene about Mickey Mantle rings true for me, though I still accept and enjoy fandom. Just... gotta keep it in check. www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFHO18vFc8oMickey Mantle don't care about you, why should you care about him?

I would like to come out as against Colt deciding to sell human organs on the Dark Web to fund this lawsuit.
Want to be ahead of any possible scandals.

Ok ok Jerry Mcdevitt is not a good lawyer.
The cases that haven't been settled he has lost. Even the real wwf kicked his ass.

To be fair he does risk going out there and getting seriously injured or drying for our entertainment, and not for big league money, either.

Even the real wwf kicked his ass. www.klgates.com/jerry-s-mcdevitt/Things Jerry Mcdeviit has won, mostly WWE based, combined with rulings that actually matter legally. Took me 2 seconds to type. Also, settling is usually a good thing from a lawyers perspective, I'm not even wanting to defend him, just stop making blanket statements.

Meltzer talked a little bit about the lawsuit.
He talked to a wrestler close to both, and all Dave was allowed to say was that his source was sympathetic to Punk not to Cabana.
Meltzer says that the theory of the falling out between them was due to Colt going backstage to the wwe.
Finally Meltzer said that he expects the lawsuit to be settled because Colt can't afford another the legal costs. He said that while Punk can afford it, he doesn't want the hassle of going through it again.
