Maybe it's also possible Punk isn't swimming in Monday and wasn't able to consciously afford to pay the rest of Colt's salary? Devil's advocate, sure, but still. Punk can go swimming another day. I don't understand the context of your statement nor the reason why this is relevant to my point. |

I always thought people were too hard on the guy for quitting and following his dreams, but he deserves all the hate for this. Dude f***ed over his (former) friend hard on this one. Cabana stood behind Punk despite pressure from WWE and was dragged through the legal system just for Punk to turn his back on him. Get f***ed dude.

Friendships in wrestling, ladies and gents. Eh, its friendships and money, that always sours in life. Im sure Punk had no idea what the trial was going to be nor cost when he sent that text. The lawyer fees were not $5k, $10k or even $50k. We are talking half a million dollars. Thats a lot of money. I don’t know if I would keep my word either. The thing is, if Cabana would have responded to the original Deman Letter, he most likely would have been dropped from the suit. He didn’t because Punk told him don’t worry about it, I got you. This is all on Punk, pretty messed up. |

Punk's a bitch. Yeah we knew he was prior but wow, that's f***ed up. Cabana was dragged into this and now he's being left to sink. I hope Cabana wins this case. It can be said that Cabana also used Punk for downloads and should've edited the part about Dr ZPak. Neither one is innocent here. The vast majority of the podcast is Punk complaining about Dr ZPak. Colt,barely speaks, it's Punk's words that got them sued. |

Because there might be more people who now want to go along to ask about this story? But the people who would be interested in going along now, are already part of the small audience the that already want to go to a wrestler's comedy show. It's not reaching a new potential audience. Compared to the costs in 10s of thousands, minimum in legal fees, that seems like a shortsighted move. It’s not just Colt though, he’s with Brendon Burns there and they’ve actually had some success at previous Fringes. I thought there might be a few people in the region who were undecided on going and might now decide to go this weekend. |

If Punk really said that he would cover the costs, it's a massive dick move. The asking for damages on top seems like a nasty, strategic move (get the extras wiped, but still need to pay the costs scenario). And also, confirms there is no way Punk is ever coming back to wrestling, as if there was any doubt. I wouldn't go that far, he may need the money. |
