Oscar would be in his mid-30's by now. And Jason Reitman wanted to focus on a team of young Ghostbusters. Maybe if the main focus was Oscar's kids, you would be on to something. My idea for Oscar was a post-credit scene. There's a knock on the door at the farmhouse, the Mom opens it up, finds two Men in Black-looking people there - Oscar: Hello Ms. Spengler, my name is Oscar Barrett, this is my partner Kylie Griffin. Kylie: We were sent by Ray Stantz, we were hoping to talk to your daughter. It's an interesting idea. Kylie, herself, would be in her early-or-mid-40's depending on the continuity. I've always wanted Kylie to be played by Winona Ryder. And having her show up in a post-cedits scene would work.

This is nitpicky of me, but can we get rid of the ? in the date in the subject? It did come out in November.

Let's not jump to conclusions, we're still not sure if it's out yet.
(Please ignore that I've got the eight-disc 4K boxset of the Reitman trilogy on my desk as we speak. )

We can't remove the question mark, until everyone who was planning to own it in November, gets a copy, THIS November. 🤣

That, and if it made any attempt to capture the spirit (f*** me, that pun is not intended) of the originals. Instead we got a generic, middle of the road mid 2010’s comedy with the GB logo slapped on it. But only women hating racists don’t like that movie according to Paul Feig. Side note, I still haven’t seen the new one but everyone I’ve talked to says it makes an honest effort to be a Ghostbusters movie. Side note 2, Kate McKinnon as Holtzmann is by far the best part of Answer the Call. I would’ve had zero issues if they decided to Spiderverse this shit and find a way to drag her to the proper GB reality. She was genuinely funny in that, so was Thor. The rest of the movie was average as f*** unless you enjoy stereotypical “hey, I’m a fat black lady from the street who’s so sassy!!” Sorta humor. EDIT: Which is ironic given the criticisms of critics from Paul Feig, I felt Leslie Jones character was racist as f*** just like most of her roles on SNL (which she openly complained about yet she also complained only racist woman haters hate GB16) I actually enjoy Answer the call. But I also understand why people don't. I'll agree that McKinnon is the best part of the movie. But I'll also admit, when watching it again last week. I found myself just waiting for the parts I enjoy. The big issue is that McKinnot and amcCarthy very easily slot into the Ray and Egon slots, Leslie Jones fits into the Winston spot, but Wiig absolutely does not fit into the Venkman spot. Not saying Kristen Wiig should have been doing a Peter Venkman neccesarily, but when you have the other three filling those archetypes so readily, it makes her character a real problem, and she drags the movie down.

Are there any deleted scenes with the older brother, Trevor?
Seemed like he was only around to be the driver and get no on-screen development.
