That’s what bothers me about this whole thing. People have been making fun of Kelly being a pedophile for over 20 years. In that time famous people have worked with him (Jay-Z, Fat Joe, among others) and somehow until that series came out he was just a punchline to a joke rather than a criminal. Hopefully this is the end of his freedom but who knows at this point. The people who found him not guilty last time should feel like crap for everything he has done since. I was thinking yesterday about the Chappelle’s Show stuff. “Piss on You” was a joke song about R. Kelly urinating in women, ignoring the fact that it was underage girls he was pissing on. I love Dave and Chappelle’s Show is an all-time Classic, but I do have to blame him and that song for altering the narrative a little bit. It wasn’t “R. Kelly is a child molester”. It became “that weirdo R. Kelly likes to pee on people.” It made it a joke. Yes and no. Dave has always been one of those people that takes a serious issue and throws it into a joke and tries to add his own commentary to it that people see or don't see. He even did another skit on what it take for him to believe R Kelly peed on someone which was basically a hit at people covering their eyes and making up excuses. It's a big joke yes but their is some shit behind it. Same with the Boondocks

As evidenced by a number of stories involving high profile celebrities/politicians in recent years. I first think of MADtv's "The Greatest", but I get where you are coming from too.

I've never even heard of a thing called a crisis manager, but if anyone needs one, it's R. Kelly.

If all this newer shit about Kelly, he's going to jail for the rest of his life. Just... holy shit.

He also ran over Stone Cold?! Ugh, good song on a good Shaft soundtrack. I really only liked Bad Man and the Ignition Remix. I always thought I Believe I can Fly was corny as hell, even as a kid. I saw on CNN this morning that he's having a hard time in jail because he can't read. I was like, "Wow, how did this guy get as far as he did?" If he's dyslexic or something, ok...but if it's just because he was like, "f*** school!" then this guy is just off the charts.

What an absolute waste of talent. Such a shame he made these decisions and ruined these lives.
To think I liked some of his songs and they will never be played again...... Crazy.

Yea, as mentioned before in the thread their was a story where he was going to try to use that as an excuse but his lawyers know how to read court documents so that's not going to fly For as big as star he was, the studio basically owned him because he signed over the rights to his songs therefore the money he could have made off them he didn;t

Oh, and while we're on "Fame saves you from consequence", I'm calling my shot that Drake has about 3 years before the net closes on him repeatedly "making friends" with 14-17 year old girls.

It's like what the hell did he think Prison was, a fun house lol You should have thought about all this shit before you spent all these years with young girls and flaunting that you were bigger than the system. Can't feel sorry for him whatsoever
