We know the music industry is dirty and shit could be coming to ahead Chris Brown is lucky that shit with him and Rihanna didn't get worse I'm seeing people bring up Chris's Rihanna stuff recently. Actually this video was posted a few days ago. And speaking of people being successful, off topic, but Ronda Rousey being in MK11 as Sonya, I'm seeing some people in the gaming community having some issues with it so that story's gaining some traction. It's a new era from 10 years ago. Being a dad has really helped Chris Brown image a lot. He never really got the proper backlash from the Rihanna situation and based upon them photos he probably should been in jail. I believe he said some bullshit like she hit her head on the dashboard of the car
Yea, Ronda is going to hear it due to all that stupid shit she has said in her past with sandy hook and all that. I don't think even with the backlash now there will be much traction BUT it only takes for her to go harder on those remarks when she is questioned about them for it to f*** her over. Her best bet is to apologize and keep quiet because when she talks she f***s herself over badly
That's not even to talk about her husband Travis Browne who was accused of putting his hands on his ex wife and that incident with Fox last year

Been the talk of the entertainment industry these past few weeks and straight up, I didn't watch it nor will I. I got everything I need to know from podcasts, interviews, quotes and such and after learning all of that...ugh. That's just horrible. Even as a kid I knew that "piss on you" thing was nasty, even with the Boondocks sketch I knew it was nasty but having it all laid out like this with all the extra things we've learned is just so f***ed up. Like, this man called himself the Pied Piper. Believe it or not, the legend of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" states that in 1284 the townspeople of Hamelin hired a rat catcher to lure away the rats that overran their village. After he did it the city cheated him out of his payment so in return he lured the children of the town away with his music. Now think about R. Kelly in connection that story, it's as if the guy was taunting people because he knew the origins and yet others didn't, ugh. f***ing nasty. You can't defend anything. If you wanna listen to his music then separate the man from the artistry. Me on the other hand, I can't listen to his shit anymore because anything he's connected to feels nasty. Hell, even listening to "I'm a flirt" sounds nasty and I f***ing LOVE that song. Gross. What's crazy when you think about it is he didn't really start using the Pied Piper name until after all the allegations and shit. Once I got older I thought he used that name as a way to taunt the police
In this article he tries to say he only used the name cause he started using flutes in his song which makes no goddamn sense on such a simple level
"I like flutes now"? That's what he went with? For the love of pound cake.

Yeah I agree that Chris being a dad has helped out his image a ton but the Rihanna situation, man just imagine if that happened 1-2 years ago, he's be in a way different spot than he is now. He's lucky he came up in that particular era where he was young and where things couldn't be changed to the degree it is today. With that said the situation still took a major hit to his career. He was being built up as the new Michael Jackson, he was being built up as that guy but after that situation he only reached Usher level. That's a testimate to his talent and fans because the fact he reached that level after that interaction, man. Had it happened today who knows where he'd be.
Yep, I've seen people email WB about it and well we'll see what happens. While I don't think it's enough to get her out of the game it'll be interesting to see how the gaming industry handles it if they'll even do anything. I don't even know. Ronda's just well, yeah. That's a different story.
But to the topic...R.Kelly's just a different beast entirely. Dude is WORSE than Kamoshida in Persona 5.

If that happened 2 years ago he'd been f***ed. His career would have been in the trash for a good while and probably reduced to an instant joke any time a song came out. He's an immensely talented man who has still reached an all time great level of fame in the r&b game but that shit could have vanished quick fast
He did use that Rihanna situation to get on his "grown man shit". After that is when he stopped doing all the love catchy love songs and you heard different shit from him
But yeah R Kelly is a devious individual. If Kamoshida can get my boy arrested for trying to stop him from beating on a woman, R Kelly is just as crazy. This was def a team effort to shut R Kelly down and it's coming quicker than he expected. He's also not in a position to be fighting whatever cases come against for a long amount of time due to him owning known of his records so while this man should probably have $100 million dollars in the bank, he has only $1 million

I think they showed in the documentary about a reporter asking him a question and he immediately gets upset like this isn't a deposition
His music tells the whole story. The brother recorded a 20 min song named "I admit" like that shit was supposed to be cute

Yep, Brown was lucky for sure. That entire incident changed not only his career but Rihanna's as well. It's wild.
This took a lot of planning I'm sure but luckily it came through. Hopefully in the future there will be a good movie about "Stopping R. Kelly" and it'll win an award because this man's been wild for decades. Sure, he can tour still in other countries if he's not locked up but we'll see what happens. I'll be surprised if he isn't locked up.

I understand there is a video of him allegedly doing these acts Have you ever seen the video? There is no allegedly, it is him You're also denying over 20 years worth of evidence and his behavior as we keep pointing out. This is not something that you need to take a Devils Advocate perspective on
No one is picking on this man for no reason nor is this coming out the blue
I'll be perfectly honest. I haven't seen the video at all. From my understanding R. Kelly has denied it's him and I remember hearing bits and pieces of accusations, stories, and documentaries regarding his behavior. I am just basing this off of the Michael Jackson child molestation accusations and how everyone along with pundits, experts, and other celebrities jumped on the bandwagon of calling him a monster and a pedophile with the same supposed "evidence". Don't get me wrong I am not an R. Kelly fan nor am I some sort of apologist. I am just stating that I don't want to jump the gun or bash him without the facts. I guess I should get around to reading the stories and see what's going on.

Let me explain. I understand there is a video of him allegedly doing these acts and while he's maintained that it wasn't him, I am in no way condoning such behavior or making excuses for him. My perspective is whenever a celebrity, politician, or anyone of any high social class is accused of something horrendous all of a sudden people believe the accusations without any facts presented. Only reason why I am making this statement is I remember when Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation. Any victim, witness, legal expert, and pundit kept going on and on about how they had evidence, documentaries, interviews, and slandered his name without any kind of facts at their disposal. I just feel it's important to not be so quick to rush to judgement. While I admit I haven't really followed R. Kelly for years and have only read bits and pieces of his behavior, marriage, and legal issues. So I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Whenever celebrities face accusations depending on the circumstances I just don't pay too much attention to it since any can get accused of anything these days and be made to look guilty. Nope. Stop. Two very different situations. How so? Michael was accused of molesting a twelve-thirteen year old boy and many witnesses such as security guards, maids, and other alleged victims were in on it as well. I never once believed Michael was guilty of molesting children and followed the case from the beginning. Once again I haven't followed all of the R. Kelly drama. All I know is the bits and pieces I've read, heard, and seen via YouTube, websites, and parodies regarding his behavior. If he was guilty and has all of this evidence against him why isn't he in jail? I mean he's a very popular, well known, and talented artist so wouldn't it make sense to put this celebrity in jail for his crimes?

Just been reading some snippets of the controversy and based off from what I've seen I think the parents should go to jail too. Arrest the parents and throw them in jail too for not pursuing justice. Because there's no way in hell I'd let my 14 year old daughter spend anytime with a grown man.

People explained all this a page ago. It's him on video. There's no ambiguity there. He was acquitted largely because the girl refused to testify and it was ruled that it wasn't possible to determine if she was underage at the time. In no way though is there a question it was him.
The Michael Jackson situation would only be comparable if there was video of him molesting kids. There's not. There were payoffs, and there was some extortion. Maybe some incident(s) occurred, maybe they didn't. Having read a couple books on it..I don't THINK Jackson did it, at least I hope not. He made some monumentally bad decisions image wise and left himself open to the speculation and accusations. Regardless though, it's not a comparable situation to the R Kelly thing. There's video. People have explained that. There's not a need to wait for the facts. The facts are in.

I guess I should get around to reading the stories and see what's going on. There is no comparison between MJ and R Kelly. MJ was accused of touching kids but their was never any video, audio, or any type of evidence to prove so otherwise. MJ made bad decisions but the stuff between him and the kids became a he said, she said situation but their is no evidence of him touching kids whatsoever
R Kelly has a top. That is EVIDENCE!!!!!!!!!! I have posted links talking about this situation. His defense team never argued in the tape it wasn't him, they argued about the girl age in the video. People identified him on the tape and some of those same people identified the unde raged girl as well. They basically threw her name in the mud and called her Satan. He got acquitted due to the girl not showing up to testify. He was in a relationship and married a 15 year old Aaliyah when he was 27 years old. Their is no jumping the gun, you have a ton of facts and evidence available to you. Idk how many times this has to be explained
Do yourself a favor and educate yourself and read on him and everything that's gone on around him. Go watch the documentary. You can't keep talking about not jumping to conclusions when everything you keep arguing about evidence and facts have been told to you. This isn't us making shit up, this is shit that happened

Not to dogpile, but if you're this concerned about jumping to conclusions, you also probably shouldn't dig in your heels about a situation you freely admit you don't know intimately. That, too, is jumping to a conclusion.

THERE IS LITERALLY A VIDEOTAPE OF HIM WITH A 14 YEAR OLD CHILD. How much more "facts" do you need? Let me explain. I understand there is a video of him allegedly doing these acts and while he's maintained that it wasn't him, I am in no way condoning such behavior or making excuses for him. Whenever celebrities face accusations depending on the circumstances I just don't pay too much attention to it since any can get accused of anything these days and be made to look guilty. You can hear someone on the outside yelling “Robert!” in the video. You are saying without any kinds of facts at their disposal like this video doesn’t exist, that’s odd. There was a girl who had sex with R Kelly that he met when she was 14 on the way inside HIS CHILD MOLESTATION case. HE MARRIED A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL. Like, what more do you need? Their are extremes to both ends of outrage culture, this is the extreme less often talked about.

You are no longer allowed to post in this one, effective immediately. Listen as I said, I haven't followed every bit of the case admittedly. All I've seen in the past was bits and pieces of information here and there. I remembered the trial but didn't follow the case at all. From my perspective I viewed it as an attempt to get money especially when Gloria Allred(a known celebrity ambulance chaser) got involved. From what I've researched so far, it definitely looks as if R. Kelly got away with shady and disgusting behavior. But I also fault the parents who allowed their teenage daughter to spend time with a grown man in the first place.
