Once there's video, you can scrap allegedly. There's no need to wait for evidence. They have it.

I’ve of course never seen the video but it doesn’t sound like there’s any ambiguity of whether it’s him or that the girl in question was underage.

His lawyer was able to convince the jury that the girl age could not be conclusive in the video and the girl herself would not testify during the trial

Yikes! They did at least make the attempt though. Sometimes things just don’t shake out the way they should.

THERE IS LITERALLY A VIDEOTAPE OF HIM WITH A 14 YEAR OLD CHILD. How much more "facts" do you need? Let me explain. I understand there is a video of him allegedly doing these acts and while he's maintained that it wasn't him, I am in no way condoning such behavior or making excuses for him. My perspective is whenever a celebrity, politician, or anyone of any high social class is accused of something horrendous all of a sudden people believe the accusations without any facts presented. Only reason why I am making this statement is I remember when Michael Jackson was accused of child molestation. Any victim, witness, legal expert, and pundit kept going on and on about how they had evidence, documentaries, interviews, and slandered his name without any kind of facts at their disposal. I just feel it's important to not be so quick to rush to judgement. While I admit I haven't really followed R. Kelly for years and have only read bits and pieces of his behavior, marriage, and legal issues. So I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Whenever celebrities face accusations depending on the circumstances I just don't pay too much attention to it since any can get accused of anything these days and be made to look guilty. While I generally agree with you on waiting to pass judgment until you have more information, in this specific case there's entirely too much proof spanning entirely too long of a period of time to come to any other conclusion. I mean... he did it. He's still doing it. Over and over again. You haven't really followed it and don't pay too much attention to these things, which isn't a problem in the broad sense but *is* for this particular instance, because you didn't realize there's plenty of exactly what you're calling for. Not saying that in a way that I want to come across as bitchy or mad, because I'm not, just that this one really doesn't have any gray area.

Been the talk of the entertainment industry these past few weeks and straight up, I didn't watch it nor will I. I got everything I need to know from podcasts, interviews, quotes and such and after learning all of that...ugh. That's just horrible. Even as a kid I knew that "piss on you" thing was nasty, even with the Boondocks sketch I knew it was nasty but having it all laid out like this with all the extra things we've learned is just so f***ed up.
Like, this man called himself the Pied Piper for years. Believe it or not, the legend of the "Pied Piper of Hamelin" states that in 1284 the townspeople of Hamelin hired a rat catcher to lure away the rats that overran their village. After he did it the city cheated him out of his payment so in return he lured the children of the town away with his music. Now think about R. Kelly in connection that story, it's as if the guy was taunting people because he knew the origins and yet others didn't, ugh.
f***ing nasty. You can't defend anything. If you wanna listen to his music then separate the man from the artistry. Me on the other hand, I can't listen to his shit anymore because anything he's connected to feels nasty. Hell, even listening to "I'm a flirt" sounds nasty and I f***ing LOVE that song.
Gross.

What's crazy when you think about it is he didn't really start using the Pied Piper name until after all the allegations and shit. Once I got older I thought he used that name as a way to taunt the police
In this article he tries to say he only used the name cause he started using flutes in his song which makes no goddamn sense on such a simple level

He's the perfect example of a guy doing so much to try and balance the negativity he's done in his life. Fortunately there's no way you can correct that negativity, it's all out in the open now and he'll deal with the consequences.

Yeah I doubt his "nah man I started liking flutes now guys" shit is legit. He just made that up and expects people to believe it like he does about all the negative stuff he's done through these decades.

Yea, even Charlemagne said on the last part that he thinks R Kelly took the name Pied Piper to mock the system cause he couldn't be caught
It's just crazy how all this shit is finally coming to f*** him over. As I talked about earlier I think a 35 year old woman should kno better but the treatment he put women through young and older is just crazy.

He's training these young girls at 15 and 16 and by the time they hit 18 they are adults and completely loyal to him so they won't leave
One woman talked about how she "respected" him for being honest about dealing with other girls and when she moved in with him with the other girls they had to tap their foot on the floor to be able leave out their room. Go to the bathroom in buckets, all types of crazy shit. Eventually she left of her own free will but her loyalty was so crazy for this man it took all that for her to leave

This will hopefully start a mudslide with the music industry because there's a ton of artists, execs and producers out there who are just as bad. I'm not sure if they're R Kelly bad but this stuff has to addressed. Like, yeah people are making their comments known now which I'm glad for but we gotta get all of them outta here now. f*** Kelz, let's see who's next.

R Kelly was introduced to the girl when was 12 years old according to his aunt so he can groom her into music

Actually this video was posted a few days ago. And speaking of people being successful, off topic, but Ronda Rousey being in MK11 as Sonya, I'm seeing some people in the gaming community having some issues with it so that story's gaining some traction. It's a new era from 10 years ago.
