I'm still tickled that Bob Barker not only was on RAW but fit in seamlessly

That was Jeremy Piven who for the most part was a bit actor but had a career resurgence around the time of the Raw and apparently is still popular despite being accused of sexual harassment recently. I really don't know what show he was or is in. I only know him as the friend who got killed in the Judgement Night movie with Emilio Estevez, Cuba Gooding and Denis Leary. And his character got killed because he was so un-important to the storylines and that probably has to do with Piven being a "just there" type of actor, nothing really memorable about him. Yet, he was somehow well known enough to host, badly, the Raw episode. He was certainly the best part of Entourage, which was a very popular show for a minute there, and why he was invited to the show in the first place. I thought he was pimping "The Goods" movie. Why he brought Ken Jeong and not Rex Lee to play Lloyd is beyond me. But he was also in PCU, Old School, and was on Ellen's sitcom. Dude has worked.

Any "in character" celebs. It just took me out of the show in those moments.
The Apes from Planet of the Apes, MacGruber, the Three Stooges, Robocop, Arliss, etc.

WCW concluding Gary Spivey was a celebrity was baffling enough, but his use to remotivate Paul Orndorff to be Mr Wonderful again was even more confusing.

Ken Osmond, who played Eddie Haskell on the 50's sitcom "Leave It To Beaver" and Penthouse Pet Patty Mullen as ringside judges for the main event at the first Clash of the Champions show in 1988.

No. She was the most over person of whatever year that was. After that commercial, Al Gore invented The Internet so we could invent memes and viral campaigns.

Tiny Tim doing an angle with Jerry Lawler back in 1993 has to be pretty up there, yeah WWE had obviously used musicians before in angles but they catered towards the hip young demographics they were chasing after, whereas Tiny Tim not so much. I thought Tiny Tim got something of a revival in his career because of being on Howard Stern's show quite a bit back in the early '90s.... that's how I first learned he existed, and then a bit later he's on WWF TV. Mancow Muller once had a PPV match in WCW in 2000 and that's now a thing you remember. I swear he had 2 matches in WCW. And 1 of them (or, the 1) was right around the time they did the big "revamp" of WCW -- so on that PPV, they had all these matches with vacated titles and the new direction was in full gear........and then they had Mancow vs. Jimmy Hart, which was really only being done because they were stuck in a contract to do it.

What about Sy Sperling at Wrestlemania X? Just to give Finkel a toupee? Sy Sperling was all over TV in the 1990's. Plus this was a way to rib Finkel, which Vince & Co. loved doing, by (a) teasing that he was mostly bald, and - even worse, IMO - (b) deny Finkel the ability to announce most of the matches at WrestleMania *10*. They had some other announcer, who worked mostly WWF TV shows during 1994, as well as the celebrity announcers - Burt Reynolds and Donny Wahlberg - calling most of the big matches that night (Bret/Owen and Shawn/Razor).

I'm pretty sure none of these actually top Gloria Steinem showing up on the War to Settle the Score special to cut a promo on Roddy Piper, talking about how he doesn't deserve to wear a skirt and how he'll pay for kicking Cyndi Lauper. WE HAVE A WINNER!

Didn't they act like James Corden's parents were a celebrity cameo worth noting? Them.

The Miller Lite Catfight girls had multiple segments at Wrestlemania 19.

Kathy Lee and Hoda...no crossover appeal there at all. The Chrisleys as well as I'm pretty sure the only people who know who they are are fans of WWE and that's only because of how much they run those commercials during RAW.

It is really on about the same level of absurd as Bojack Horseman, with J.D. Salinger coming out of retirement to create "Hollywoo Stars and Celebrities: What Do They Know? Do They Know Things?? Let's Find Out!"

I've got a better one, the WWF showing footage of Geraldine Ferraro (Walter Mondale's running mate) saying "Piper, you're going down!". Granted, she didnt know who Piper was, David Wolff attended a fundraiser she happened to be at and told her to say it, but it still qualifies.

The segment that was so bad they literally just put Adam Rose's music on loop as loud as possible to drown out the boos, and it had nothing to do with anything else that happened on that show. Also, you now all remember Adam Rose was a thing. Another one has to be MacGruber. Aka the answer to "How can we fill a 3 hour wrestling show when all our wrestlers are stuck in Europe, but not actually put any effort in?"

The Miller Lite Catfight girls had multiple segments at Wrestlemania 19. And a tag title match featuring RVD (though with a lame premise/finish) was part of the pre-show because of it.

This isn't a odd celebrity but WWE having Michael Clarke Duncan who was just months after the biggest role of his career in The Green Mile sitting front row at Wrestlemania 2000 clearly super into the show and WWE just decided to not get him involved in the PPV at all.

It was Breast Cancer Awareness Month and they were acknowledging Breast Cancer Survivors. Hoda Kotb is a Breast Cancer Survivor herself. Also, John Cena has appeared on their show several times.

Do we really need actors to get involved with the shows? Can't they just be there as fans and enjoy the show and WWE gets the benefit of showing them on camera enjoying themselves?
