Leslie Nielsen and George Kennedy in character as their Naked Gun counterparts, though they're never actually named, trying to locate the missing Undertaker. www.dailymotion.com/video/xjrijpI'd say this is weird only for the fact that the WWF was usually so careful to keep Undertaker away from being involved in straight-up comedy, both before and after this. Nielsen and Kennedy were about the level of celebrity that the WWF could have hoped for considering this was probably their lowest point as a business. And, well, the timing was pretty unfortunate, considering what was just starting with the third Naked Gun co-star at this point.
What was going on with Priscilla Presley?
...oh wait. Nevermind.

Look, I know Robert Goulet did a few shows in a backyard casino run by a 10 year old boy but I don't think it's too scandalous

You know full well to whom I'm referring: Ricardo Montalban's hawking of nonexistent "Corinthian leather" when advertising Chryslers.

MacGruber/Will Forte made sense since Mark Henry, MVP, Jericho, etc. were in the movie.
Culkin made sense because they were doing cartoon humor with Hornswoggle and Carlito.
And as for the third Naked Gun star thing, are you guys joking about Goulet and Ricardo? Because we all know who had real legal problems.
Anna Nicole Smith fighting with her corpse's...I mean husband's family over his money.

Andy Warhol showing up in the middle of a Hogan promo. I've heard that the WWF had kind of a fandom among the "artsy" types (even if it was more of an ironic type of appeal), and Warhol definitely fits into that crowd. Reportedly he wanted to paint a portrait of Hogan, but passed away before he got the chance. Warhol was a big fan. He regularly attended MSG shows during the '70s and Vince briefly interviewed him at ringside on one episode in the early 80s. He, Andy Kaufman and Deborah Harry of Blondie were all big fans and good friends, and I could have sworn Warhol was involved in the Broadway pro wrestling show Harry and Kaufman did (it lasted one night), but it appears he may have just attended it and not part of it.

One of the oddest celebrity involvements has to be one of the very first - Bela Lugosi as Lou Thesz's manager for a match. Their connection? They were both of Hungarian descent, and had a mutual friend who put the whole thing together as a publicity stunt.

For someone who hated the glitz and glamour of gimmicks like Gorgeous George and what wrestling turned into, it's hilarious to me that he was involved in one of the first celebrity connections.
