Rey after he hit his move on her looked like he just shot his dog. He was devastated. The whole spot itself is just bizarre to me. I was cracking up because Nia was legit kicking ass but the idea of it is funny. In 2019 you've got a woman getting beaten up by dudes in a Rumble match. Just, man it's 2019 so it even happening is wild to me. It's believable though. Nia can beat ass so that part's cool. I found that funny because you just know Rey wouldn't have thought twice about doing it in Lucha Underground. Rey: Every. Time. I get out of the Temple and THEY KEEP DRAGGING ME BACK IN!!!!!! WHY AZTEC GODS?!?? Orton: The f***?

I actually liked it, and it was the most interesting Nia's been in ages.
I'll also echo the feelings of not liking Ali being eliminated the way he was. Why Joe didn't get back in the ring and whip his ass is beyond me.
Just weird that they'd use that spot on a mega-heel, who was getting huge babyface reactions during the moment.
Can you imagine if they replaced Nia with Becky and had Becky win THAT one instead?!

You know what? I lked it. After the feminist propaganda that completely ruined Ralph Breaks The Internet, I needed to see somethig like this. But it's true. {Spoiler}Disney turned Ralph's character into a big dumb stupid manchild -who at the end of the movie is THE ONLY ONE that had to learn something, while Vanellope got what she wanted without learning anything new- in order to make the princesses and Gal Gadot the only competent and righteous characters in the story. So, props to WWE. Unlike Disney, they're not afraid of allowing a woman to be bested by a man.

Ralph is not a big dum dum, Penelope basically did what the villain of the first movie did(different context and not forceful but still). And of course, lets forget all about how the first movie loved it was about video games,we have to be hip with the kids and shove Disney marketing on their face

Having had a chance to sleep on it, I still hate the way commentary sold it. They can redeem it, though, if Cole, Graves and Renee put her over tonight.
With that said, it was a good spot. I wish they hadn't used Ali for the elimiation, but he'll be fine. I actually marked when she came out, because I thought my 4-way at Mania theory had legs.

I hate that Becky had to ask for permission to enter, while Nia Jax just went out there. Unless I missed commentary selling her as not being official.
Everyone who is not in the rumble should just attack someone and take their place.

Just saw a clip of it. Only thing I’ll say is the RKO looked really well executed. Otherwise I thought it was pretty pointless to have her eliminate someone who they presumably like (Ali) just for a joke spot.
Although I’ll give WWE credit for having a woman sell for a man in 2019. I was expecting more outrage but the shit is fake and everyone knows it. The world isn’t going to implode.

My compliant about the whole thing is that Finlay had to allow Beck to take Lana's spot and in this one Nia Jax just entered and took R-Truth's spot we didn't see anyone give her the okay to do so. It' s just a lack of internal consistency in the story logic.

It' s just a lack of internal consistency in the story logic. Yeah, this is my issue with it. It makes no sense. Like others have pointed out on Twitter, Brock Lesnar may as well enter the women's rumble next year if we're just going to ignore the rules.

Was it Corey who said "What the hell is happening?" last night? Because that seemed unbelievably appropriate, for some reason.
Kinda thought I'd have woken up to a firestorm of controversy this morning, as seems the case with most things that happen these days.

People might hate me for this, but This was better than when Beth was in the Rumble mostly for comedy relief purposes(Kissing Khali).

Becky being in the men’s rumble wouldn’t have worked. Atleast for this first foray into intergender fighting.
Nia is atleast big. You know? Wrestling is about optics first and foremost so you can buy this big bowling ball of a woman beating the shit out of little guys like Rey and Ali and it doesn’t look like as much of a crime scene when she takes offense from the guys. We’ll get there maybe but I think the reaction would’ve been a lot worse if you saw someone like Carmella or Becky get flattened by a Orton clothesline.

They need to be done with this if they are doing separate rumbles.
Serena Williams can't just stroll over to the men's semis or finals if she loses a match.

Nia sucks so bad she got eliminated from two Royal Rumbles in one day.

Let's have three superstars do finishers on a woman while the crowd laughs. I'm also pissed because they ended up having Ali eliminated by a joke entry after AJ & Bryan had done a great job of building him up on Smackdown. Stop it. That isn't what happened, at all.

I'm not normally here for Nia, but yeah it was solid. They needed her to eliminate someone he had a great showing and no way was this amazing babyface about to touch her even after being surprised to preempt elimination.
Nia came in cocky, looked strong as hell in defeat, and was still taken out. This wouldn't have worked with a woman that had more goodwill with the audience. That was strictly a spot for someone the crowd isn't going to mind being used to spotlight finishers. It wasn't violent and nobody came off looking bad. Aside from being towards the middle it couldn't have been handled better.

Look, I’m all for calling a joke entry a joke entry. Jeff Jarrett was a joke entry. Kurt Angle became one because you read this and remembered Kurt Angle entered the 2019 Royal Rumble match.
Nia Jax was not that. I am not a massive fan of her work and think she’s a tad unsafe at times but the way they used her was nothing short of great.
Nia came in, nobody knew what to think because they expected R-Truth (and you be the person to tell her no), Mustafa Ali didn’t want to hit her, being a good guy and paid for it (yes, he kind of shouldn’t have been a sacrificial lamb in the long term but the short story they told was great) and when that happened, everyone realised they needed to get rid of her because she was a genuine threat to everyone else. She could win.
So they found a way to triple team her and they thought that was it...except she was crawling up like a bruised beast so they all dumped her out. Like, that did more for her credibility than anything since she was called up from NXT.
Also, and this needs to be said again, the downright eruption from when Orton and Nia stared each other down was f***ing surreal as hell. Yes, they cheered her being beaten down but she was wrecking shit so was getting got, as Magic would say.

Everyone who is not in the rumble should just attack someone and take their place. Yeah, and I realize it's been done before a few times, but last night was pretty glaring, especially since Truth had to really fight to get his spot with the MMC. Like, kayfabe-wise because of last night, next year should just see a parade of guys/gals coming out during their respective Rumbles and getting attacked.
