So Meltzer said once Ronda leaves the "Big 3" women in the company they want to build around are Becky, Charlotte and Lacey. The main reason they're so high on Lacey is due to her background and life story about her struggles, her military history, and her time as a single mother to which she might connect in the mainstream. Others wrestlers have praised Lacey in the past and like working with her. He then said it's possible and she doesn't fit the spot and they give up on her like they did Dana, Eva and many other women.

I think Lacey is alright. Definitely needed more seasoning in NXT though. I like her old school pin up gimmick. But a push this strong, this quick, I don’t think she’s ready for it. Not yet. She has a cool gimmick, a great look, but the in ring just isn’t there yet.

I hope she isn’t given too much of a hard time for that though.

She's amazing and all but you know Vince ain't gonna push someone who speaks like Asuka. We know Vinny Mac. Ruby would be a more likely replacement for that third spot I'd say.

Speaking of Rub, Ronda was glad to do the rematch just so Ruby could get some more time showing her skills. Props to her for that.

Vince is never going to roll with a person that doesn't speak fluent English as a constant on top because of all the media. It's just how he is.

Lacey seems to have a good grasp of her character, and the gimmick is pretty fun. But she's going to look lost, in matches with Becky or Charlotte. They called her up too quick, presumably because she's statuesque and blonde, and she'll probably flame out when Vince loses interest. She needed more time in NXT, and that will become obvious when other women, who are down there longer, come up to the main roster and surpass her.

The Big Four of the Women's Division should be Becky, Charlotte, Asuka and babyface Alexa (who will finally be able to wrestle like a plucky underdog, instead of a dominant heel). They all have star quality, and are all very over, even with casual crowds.

Shayna Baszler is going to be capable of coming up to the main roster as a main event level heel, and she's going to look legit against any competition.

I agree big time about face Alexa, but I wonder if her recent injury history is scaring them off a bit. Mandy Rose isn't all the way there YET, but even right now she'd be a better choice than Lacey if they insist on another white blonde...

We live in the most diverse time in American History and Vince refuses to push minorities. Sasha Banks, Asuka, Ember Moon, etc deserve better.
