So you're telling me we got Mickey, Havoc and Janela together? Get ready for some ultraviolence people. I really.hope dont. The Dustin crimson mask is the most graphic I can get. I dont want any CZW nonsemse. This is Alicia Atout, AEW here with Cody. Cody, what the f*** just happened.

"Dirty Deeds" needs to be officially renamed, I think. My first idea would be "Hells Bells" (unless you can think of a good finisher name to get out of You Shook Me All Night Long. )

He's in a rare position because not only was he given a respectful dignified farewell by WWE but I imagine he'll always be welcomed back.
He was a member of the Shield, so they're always going to want him. It's not like, just picking a name at random, if Harper went to AEW and it didn't work out I'm not sure WWE would take him back.
He's got a great thing going really, I'm excited to see what he does in AEW.

Yeah Mox!
There's a touch of the Randy Orton's about him where when he's clearly not inspired or happy with the direction he's in then it's kind of sad to see, but when someone can light a fire in him then there are few who can work crowds better.
Hopefully AEW can creatively fulfill him because he can take them to great heights if so, IMO.

So you're telling me we got Mickey, Havoc and Janela together? Get ready for some ultraviolence people. Would be an absolutely stupid move on their part. AEW is getting no TV rights money. They need top tier advertisers and sponsors to help make money for the company and that kind of programming eliminates nearly all of them. There's a reason WWE went PG. It's all about $ and when your not getting TV money and your target demo illegally streams your PPVs, you can't afford to lose advertisers because you want bloody deathmatches to cater to the 5% of the fans who like them.

They're playing into it at the very least. For what it's worth, I definitely think that Tony, Cody & the Bucks would only allow things on the tamer side (relatively speaking). We saw glimpses of it from Havoc with the stapler and cigarette spots, but I definitely don't see anything bloody happening on TNT.

Lord the pettiness of it all. They’re playing it perfectly though. They know their audience. This looks like after the show was over. Cody didn’t take a shower, he just hung out with Dustin’s blood all over him? That is kind of gross.

I highly doubt that WWE is shocked by this. Didn't he make a comment on that Network special that WWE was frustrated that not everyone had a price for the Million Dollar Man? Unlike others, he fulfilled his contractual obligations and was free to do whatever he wanted.
After they made him a large offer to stay in a place where his wife and many of his friends were working and he turned it down, it had to be clear that he would be going elsewhere. If he had just wanted time off before coming back, WWE would've agreed and worked it into a deal.

No reason why they can’t build things up on the weekly show in a relatively tame way, then have Havoc/Mox/Janela go all-out on PPV. One hardcore bout every 4-6 months should be fine if built as a big deal when it happens (like a Fight Without Honor used to be).

I would hope the WWE knew that Moxley had signed with AEW, because otherwise Rene is going to be in a tough position with some small-minded people in the company. 'Why didn't you tell us?' as though she's got to report on everything her husband does.
Moxley felt like a big deal, and putting him into a non-title feud will hopefully give them time to establish their championship and build some other stars.
But no deathmatch shit, please. If you can't put on a great match that has the crowd invested without maiming yourself then you shouldn't be in the ring.

It's very difficult for a promotion to keep it's big match types special for long. Its very easy to identify it as something that nobody else your size is doing and make it a signature gimmick. Along with that comes the urge to cheapen it with overuse.

Just read that Cody said Moxley was the last guy on TV to take a Bionic Elbow from Dusty. A Reddit poster said it happened at Battleground 2013, anybody know for sure?
If it’s true, that’s pretty awesome.

The second reports of Ambrose leaving came out, he started jobbing every week and got put in some weird angle with Nia Jax. Then Roman gets cleared, and all that crap is dropped and Dean gets an awesome sendoff. Vince was at least smart enough not to piss off his top guy and locker room leader.

If it’s true, that’s pretty awesome. I think it has to be true. Dusty's last four TV appearances were: Battleground (April 8, 2013) - Bionic Elbow to Moxley Raw (February 16, 2015) - Tries to reunite Goldust and Stardust Fastlane (February 22, 2015) - Backstage segment with Goldust Hall of Fame (March 28, 2015) - Seen on the Red Carpet with Brandi So his last physical altercation was on the outside of that tag match with The Shield. Funny how things go sometimes.

It goes hand in hand since we basically got word Dean was leaving and then Roman getting cleared back to back They put it out there and mentioned it constantly on TV Dean was leaving. I'm sure WWE knew this was going to happen but that doesn't mean Vince would not still be mad for a min just because. However, through it all Dean remained professional and finished out his contract. He was the workhorse before the injury as well. Vince sees and knows all that so this is more so a heartbreak than a f*** that guy situation Besides that, as you said at the end of the day you want to keep Roman and Seth happy as well.
