I don't know what they were thinking having so much wrestling, there was only about two and a half hours worth of promos and commercials there.

Absolute indefensible shit. Vince is awful, as a creative mind and as a person.

It sounds like a really bold move: prove they're not afraid of AEW and don't see them as competition by putting on a show so bad that only someone who has literally no fears of competition or failure could put it on. Let's see if it pays off.

So I take it skipping the show tonight was the right call?

If this is their answer to counter All Elite than they might as well raise the white flag

I was worried about this. When WCW started kicking the crap out of the WWF in the 90s there was no choice but to raise the bar. They didn't have the big rights fees from USA, so they had to actually win over fans to buy tickets and PPVs. I know, shocking. AEW isn't going to change the fact that WWE has these new massive TV deals, hence there is no incentive to do better. I would think if AEW actually started winning in the ratings, or at least beating Raw's cable numbers, that would be a wake up call.

Let's see if it pays off. I did get a kick out of that. Ever since Saturday itâs been dudes going âHOW IS WWE GOING TO RESPOND TO AEW ON MONDAY?!â And their response was basically: Call it bravado, arrogance, stupidity, or whatever, but they went about business as usual. And like you said, we shall see where things go from here.

Let's see if it pays off. Bold strategy f***ing over a crowd of paying customers who probably gave up a day off from work and school to go see this deep fried garbage, instead of going to a bbq with friends and family or seeing a movie. Those Kansas City fans should be furious.

I missed it cause I was out but holiday shows are generally bad. There is no point for WWE to compare themselves to AEW until the later shows they can draw strong ratings and touring numbers.
The WWE is going to put on bad shows independent of AEW.

Maybe they knew the fans watched so much wrestling this weekend that they took out most from their show.
What good guys.
