I ain’t saying it’s right but I get where he was coming from. Crazy this is getting likes. Nobody is condoning it. They're saying that they understand how Tommy could have got to that point. Dude gave his money, body, mind, and soul to ECW, and Paul just let it fall apart while he fled to greener pastures, and left his workers holding the (empty) bag.

On one hand as someone who suffers with mental health problems, I'm glad he has got past this and is able to talk about it. I'm a huge advocate for men especially to talk more about their mental health.
On the other hand, I really hope this hasn't given anyone struggling any ideas. Maybe some things shouldn't be public knowledge.

My whole worry is that he was in this state in 2001, and I think of all the crazy bumps and headshots he taken since than and still does. He even admitted that he has memory loss but he still doesn't stop. While currently he seems to be at a good state mentally and not in a dark place. It makes me more worried about him in a few years even or months. Hell I remember like 2 or 3 years ago he had a scare after taking a choke slam that his whole body went numb. These things stick to me head and every time I see Dreamer wrestle, I cringe not for being horrible because he is better than 90% of the ex ECW guys that try and do anything but because off his head trama he talked about.

Ironically, the only thing that stopped this, is that Dreamer couldn’t afford a ticket, because Heyman took all his money. I'm laughing in this thread more than I feel comfortable with because this reaction gif may be one of the most perfect ones I've ever seen.

I'm not the sort to ever think about faith but when something like having Jim Ross calling Tommy out of the blue I start to wonder...It's something people don't do often enough, calling people just to see how they do.
Still it's going to be strange if Tommy continues working in the indys how the other wrestlers will look at him.

Meanwhile, in Alaska, granted it was a NRA display. Colt is the second-to-last guy in the business that I ever expected to see with a gun in his hand. what is the pic? I can't see it

Not just that but the ring truck and other stuff were on Dreamer family’s name, their credit apparently was ruined because of Heyman. Let’s also take into account that Dreamer claims he wasn’t paid in like six months. I’m amazed he never beat up Heyman.

Something about Foley with a gun is just wrong. So long as nobody asks him for a posed photo. If he gets the urge to do a 'bang bang' it could end badly.

Right. And it's probably worse when your entire life has been wrestling, revenge angles, and hanging out with doped up wrestlers. This is also true. Take the struggles a lot of us have day to day and then add to that the batshit crazy world of wrestling. Again, I don't want it to seem like I'm condoning what Dreamer was thinking about, because that's absolutely not the case but I think a lot of people tend to ignore/don't know about Dreamer in his early career. Like, we all just know him now as the goofy, Twitter pants wearing guy that tries his best to keep the ECW memory alive. Before ECW became what it was, Tommy was a good looking dude that was really damn solid in the ring and he easily could've been a mid card champ in WWE or WCW. For better or worse he chose to stay ECW and he helped build the company with Heyman, not just in the ring but behind the scenes as well. And then when you're pretty much hitting the hottest point of your career and the company you helped build, the guy you built it with left everyone holding the bag when it all came to a stop. That'll f*** someone up hard. At the end of it all, I'm glad that Tommy is in a better place mentally and in his life in general. And I really hope that someone who is going through some shit sees this and thinks " damn, he went through that and came back. I can too." When I had the WWE Network, I watched some early ECW and when I saw Dreamer I was surprised how good of shape he was in and the fact that he actually wasn't a bad worker even then. I think Dreamer could have gotten much better had actually wrestling matches and not the garbage matches he regularly did in ECW. I don't always agree with Cornette, but he hit the nail on the head with ECW. He said the problem with ECW was the marks were in the ring, not the audience. Either way, glad Dreamer got help and through that tough part of his life.

It really speaks volumes what a crazy week in wrestling news it has been that this was in and out of the news cycle in 24 hours.
