For whatever reason, Arteta has lost that locker room by simply asking them to put in the work. Something even senior players like David Luiz and Mesut Özil seem physically incapable of doing these days. The first mistake is expecting hard graft from Luiz and Özil. On their day they're brilliant players, but they're not going to run themselves into the ground. At least, not any more. When they were both under-25, maybe. exeter win against colchester in their efl league two playoff, thru extra time and scoring their winner nine minutes from the end As a resident of Exeter, that's a nice little morale booster for the city. I expected the worst after the first leg, but we've got a gritty little team, so it's good to see them do well.

Damn football without crowds is boring. Actually I think crowds were the sticking plaster, at last for the premier League.

Damn football without crowds is boring. Actually I think crowds were the sticking plaster, at last for the premier League. I have to agree. There have been a lot of matches the past week which have been very boring and the lack of an actual crowd (rather than piped in crowd noise) is really affecting it. These games feel like friendlies almost. I did get a Sky week pass last Wednesday but won’t be getting another one for this week it’s not worth it. Plus Arsenal are complete shite anyway.

They have one channel with piped in crowd noise, at first it helps but the tone and timing is off so it's not great. I guess like the seagull pop. The other channel has natural noise but it sounds like a training match so is weird. Not sure what's best. Ideally game crowd noise but implemented better. There's also an option of fans watching

There's also an option of fans watching NBC's first bit of piped in noise was dodgy during the Villa and Sheffield game. Weird timing issues where crowds would "erupt" 10 seconds after an appeal for a foul, for instance. It's gotten much better but, you'd think working with EA Sports would help. FIFA's career modes does a good job with crowd noise.

Fabinho’s goal was absolutely stunning. He’s quickly becoming a very important player for Liverpool.
Liverpool can win the title tonight if Man City drop points against Chelsea away. Chelsea have history of ending title hopes after their draw against Spurs at home 4 years ago handed the title to Leicester.
Norwich look gone now and Bournemouth & West Ham both look hopeless. Those could be the 3 to go down. Villa keep picking up points but need a win. Watford should have enough to get out of trouble.

It has been 11,016 days since Liverpool were last crowned champions of England. The wait is almost over, so close I can taste it. I have loved the club since the first time I watched them play on TV with my dad. It was the 1996 FA Cup final, we didn't win that day but I was hooked. My dad was a fan throughout the glory days of the 70s & 80s & he passed that on to me. I have seen many false dawns, many times when it was nearly our year. I've suffered through our biggest rivals winning title after title & passing our mark of 18 league titles. I've suffered constantly losing our best players to rival clubs & big overseas moves. There has been joy along the way, three cups in 2001, Istanbul 2005, the FA Cup 2006 & of course Madrid 2019. But the ultimate prize has always been just out of reach. The soul crushing disappointments, the club legend Stevie G slipping against Chelsea, 97 points & runners-up last season, 4 times finishing 2nd, 5 times finishing 3rd, but now the wait is all but over. Finally, MY GOD FINALLY! We are going to win the league!
I am still amazed at what the club has achieved. I can think back to our darkest season 2011/12, finishing 8th in the league with 52 points, 14 defeats in 38 games, losses to Stoke, Fulham twice, West Brom, QPR, Sunderland, Bolton, Wigan & Swansea. All teams no longer in the Premier League. A team full of bang average footballers, Martin Kelly, Jonjo Shelvey, Jay Spearing, Sebastian Coates, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing & Andy Carroll are a hell of a long way from Van Dijk, Firmino, Mane, Salah, Fabinho, T.A.A & Robertson.
FSG & Klopp are the best thing to happen to the club since Shankly & I cannot wait to see Jordan Henderson (who joined us in that miserable 2011/12 season) lift the trophy high, I don't care that it will be in an empty stadium. I don't care that we may win the title sitting at home if Man City fail to beat Chelsea. Our time has come, we are back on top & it feels so good. I'm under no illusion that despite the big points gap just how good a team Man City is, you may despise as I do the manner which they have achieved their greatness but you cannot deny it. To be this far ahead of them is truly extraordinary & is a measure of the brilliance of Klopp & his coaches. 2020 will rightfully go down as a dumpster fire of a year but as long as I live I will always look back on at least one day with a smile. The day Liverpool finally won the league again.

Congratulations Liverpool it’s been a long time coming. I was 5 when Liverpool last won the league so I have no memory of them ever being Champions.
Maybe Liverpool will now target Man Utd’s League Title Record maybe?

I’m happy for all the players but I’m especially happy for Jordan Henderson. He’s put up with criticism (some of which was valid), ridicule and unfair comparisons to the previous Captain from fans of other clubs and especially Liverpool fans. He’s taken it all, improved massively as a player, matured beyond his years and become a class act. You can see on the pitch the difference in belief when he doesn’t play. He’s become indispensable. And now he’s done what his legendary predecessor and many other Captains never managed to do.
