Congrats to Leeds and their fans it’s been a long time coming. A lot of young Leeds fans won’t remember when they were last in the top flight it’s that long ago!
Hopefully they won’t make the same mistakes they did all those years ago. Will be interesting to see how Bielsa gets on managing in the Premier League.
After West Brom’s defeat today looks like Brentford could be joining them in the Premier League next season. Just in time for their new stadium as well if they hold their nerve.

Frankly, Brentford deserve it with the absolute annihilation they've put forward since the return.

I don’t watch much of the Championship but I watched them play Derby last week away and they played some great football. Benrahma looks like a quality player who I look forward to seeing more of hopefully in the Premier League next year.

Benrahma will be in the PL next season regardless of whether Brentford go up or not, I think. I can see a club like Leicester or Wolves coming in for him, especially if a bigger club snatches up one of their midfielders.

As someone who lives just down the road but isn't a Leeds fan and who really doesn't like Leeds I have to say, putting my prejudices aside, it's been nice to see the smiles on Leeds supporters faces today. The unwavering support they've given that team through unimaginably dark times is impressive, and they've got their rewards now. Let's hope they get destroyed at Old Trafford next season.

it finished 2-0 burnely with poor norwich also scoring the second from an own goal! it's like kicking a man when he's down really ...

Arsenal off on Wembley! Again! So that Liverpool win I’m a bit happier with now as it looks like it gave us the confidence to win this game. We got absolutely battered tonight but we were more clinical and excellent in defence. Very happy great performance

I really enjoyed the Arsenal defensive performance.
Now whether they could be consistent and defend like that throughout a season is another question.

So, of course, he was fired this evening.

I was in the centre of Leeds this afternoon and it felt like the whole city was out celebrating their promotion with a mass party. I wont pretend that I wasn't envious of them, but I thought i'd join in and try to enjoy their happiness. They deserve it after seeing their club get mismanaged for most of that time.

was not manchester united's day as they were humbled by chelsea 3-0
eric bailly was stretchered off after a nasty clash of heads david de gea didn't have his on as he fluffed two goals away either side of half time
so it's an all london affair in the final

I do wonder if United will finally cash in on De Gea now that he's struggling to maintain the form of the last five or six years. Two years ago him leaving would be unthinkable, but between the errors creeping back into his game, Henderson's meteoric rise, and Romero's knack for keeping clean sheets (35 in 55 matches) perhaps the time has come.

It's 100% the time to cash in on De Gea, he was at fault for all three goals yesterday, all of which should have been saved fairly comfortably. This is starting to become a serious problem now, especially in big games and one that needs addressing sooner rather than later.
He's still young for a keeper, and I think he'll eventually come good again but all the signs are there that this probably won't happen under the glare of Old Trafford. Personally, I'd be happy to give Henderson a chance for a season or two, it's a no lose situation really. He has Premiership experience now and looks to have stepped up to that level comfortably, now is probably the best time to see if he can continue this form this in a United shirt.
Having said that, United weren't at the races yesterday anyway and would have been incredibly fortunate to win even if De Gea had kept a clean sheet. Chelsea looked quicker, stronger and hungrier for it and set up perfectly to counteract United's attack. Definitely a sign that United need more depth if they're going to succeed in becoming one of the top teams again.

So, of course, he was fired this evening. f***ing Watford man, who would ever want to work there as a manager or player? Pearson deserved better, the people who need to go are the owners. No accountability, Watford fans must all be bald from pulling their own hair out.

I don't understand the Watford decision at all. 2 games from the end of the season and not safe yet.
