Is Daniel Farke finally going to be axed from Norwich? If they struggle in the Championship next season then I think so yes. 2 important games in the relegation race tonight as manager less Watford play Man City at home knowing a point will relegate Bournemouth. Man City will be pissed though after losing the FA Cup semi final to Arsenal. And speaking of Arsenal they are away to Villa who desperately need a result to have any chance of staying up. A Watford win or draw and a Villa defeat will relegate Villa tonight. Personally I think Watford will lose tonight and wouldn’t be surprised if Villa turned Arsenal over as doubt Arsenal’s focus is on the league now.

And that manager firing has done nothing for Watford losing 4 nil at home to Man City with still 20 mins left.
Also brings Watford’s goal difference level with Villa & Bournemouth who are both still 3 points behind. It’s in Villa’s hands now really.
Also Villa have scored 5 more goals than Watford this season so they will stay up if they are level on goal difference and points.

Well I was right. Villa beat Arsenal and are now out of the relegation zone on goals scored going into the final game.
All 3 teams fighting relegation are away on the last day
West Ham v Villa Arsenal v Watford Everton v Bournemouth

Sadly I think Brighton are nailed on for relegation. Chris Hughton had done a good job there the last few years with not much money and although they had a terrible second half of the season, he still (just) kept them up. Can’t see Graham Potter doing that. Yep, now right I was! I’ll hold my hands up to that one, Potter’s done a pretty fine job there.

I had Newcastle nailed to the bottom of the league too, Steve Bruce has to go down as one of the managers of the season with that squad and all the behind the scenes goings on.

Some predictions: 1. Man City 2. Liverpool 3. Spurs 4. Arsenal 5. Chelsea 6. Man Utd 7. Leicester 8. Everton 9. West Ham 10. Wolves 11. Bournemouth 12. Southampton 13. Watford 14. Brighton 15. Burnley 16. Aston Villa 17. Norwich 18. Newcastle 19. Crystal Palace 20. Sheffield United Golden Boot: Mo Salah Player Of The Year: Kevin De Bruyne Manager Of The Year: Pep Guardiola FA Cup: Chelsea League Cup: Man City Champions League: Juventus Europa League: Roma All major leagues will be won by the same teams that won them last season (Spain, Italy, Germany, France) though I do expect Real Madrid and Dortmund to at least put up a challenge. Good lord the state of these predictions! Man City Champions, Spurs & Arsenal top 4, West Ham & Bournemouth mid table, All 3 relegation guesses all comfortably safe (though everyone would have said Sheff Utd for relegation I guess). My other predictions don’t look too bad. Salah isn’t too far off top scorer (4th atm I think behind Auba, Ings & Vardy), De Bruyne imo has been the player of the year though I think a Liverpool player will still get it, Man City won the league cup and Chelsea are in the FA Cup final (though I hope they lose). Guardiola is not winning manager of the year though. As for Europe Juve and Roma still have a chance of winning those trophies and the only major European league I got wrong was Spain but I did say Real Madrid would challenge Barca this season.

Crystal Palace 15. Burnley 16. Aston Villa 17. Brighton 18. Newcastle 19. Norwich 20. Sheffield United F.A. Cup: Liverpool. League Cup: Manchester City. Champions League: Juventus (hopefully Buffon gets to retire with that winners medal). Well, I got the League Cup and Norwich being relegated correct, I suppose.

Quick question...... have they announced when the next season is starting? I'm assuming it's not going to be the normal middle of August, right?

1-1 at Old Trafford. West Ham are now mathematically safe, while United go up to third (or fourth, should Chelsea get anything from Liverpool).
The final day should provide us with some drama.

The entire team cost less than £7m, you could have had Guardiola and Klopp combined managing that team and they'd struggle.

ELGLISH CHAMPIONSHIP LAST DAY
LEEDS and WEST BROMICH ALBION are promoted ... WBA because FULHAM could only draw at WIGAN, and BRADFORD lost to BARNSLEY, who survive relegation!
SWANSEA leapfrog NOTTINGHAM FOREST to get the fourth playoff place after overturning a big goal difference!
HULL, CHARLTON and WIGAN (subject to points appeal) are relegated ... LUTON ARE SAFE BRILLIANT!!!
liverpool now 4-1
