Oh cool, so he now wants nobody to associate with him and not just Sammy. Glad he made it easy for people.

What a scumbag, leaked his own shit to "expose" a wrestler for an atmosphere he himself created. What a loser, I hope Sammy comes out better for this just to spite people like this as well. And I hope no more wrestlers fall into the trap of ever associating with this shit.

So not only did this guy destroy his own credibility in the most sociopathic way, but he also weakened the very foundation of the SpeakOut movement because now people are going to be scrutinizing claims and bolster the (oftentimes illegitimate) claims that the victims are only doing this for self-gain. There are few things that set me off more than dipshits who pull crap like this and handwave it off like "it's just a gimmick!" It's the IWC's equivalent of "it's only a prank, bro!" and deserves to have every aspect of social media presence wiped off the internet.

I’m pretty sure someone compared this whole debacle to the James Gunn situation and that proves even more accurate.

Thus far, pretty much everything that Sammy has done to make amends has been the right way to go about things.

The more I see about this, the more I'm convinced Sammy's going to come out the other side of this alright.
And congrats TWFS, you just made your show even more toxic than it already was.

Like I said, Sammy said something really, really stupid and heinous.
I can't go demanding his head, though, because while I've never said anything that bad, I said a lot of things in my early 20's that were the result of wanting to be edgy, and because I thought it would bolster my masculinity.
Sammy's out of work on suspension, out of pay, and he did what an adult does, which is own it, explain it, reach out to those affected, and weather the backlash.
All in all, I think Sammy Guevara will be fine. I think he's just getting a hell of a wake-up call, and his best years are ahead of him.
Now, as for TWFS... they can piss up a rope. If they were trying to be good people by releasing it, then step number 2 would be stopping their god-awful, try-hard show. They're the epitome of all edge but no point.

Oh God, I just read that this podcast was the one that sold shirts making fun of Bobby Heenan after he had to have part of his jaw removed. @#$% these guys, and @#$% them for getting pissy over Sammy growing up and not wanting to associate with them anymore.

Honestly the longer this has gone on, the better I feel about Sammy just for how he handled this situation with grace and maturity, and the more I really blame this on this Whole FN Show Podcast and its shitty culture.
That being said, the words came out of Sammy's mouth, it was his fault in that regard, but yeah considering this podcast leaked this just to be assholes, I really hope Sammy just comes out the other end a better dude.

It's an important lesson for Sammy;
1. Watch your f***ing mouth 2. You're going to think twice on your appearances moving forward and what you say that can and will be used against you.

I think Sammy has handled this about as well as possible. Yes he screwed up but he's accepted responsibility and fronted up to it and apologised. His video seemed genuine and heartfelt I really hope he'll be back. We've all said something we regret at some point in our lives (to varying degrees of offensiveness) bit it shouldn't define you.

Yeh i'm pretty sure Sammy already is in the clear.
He did everything correctly and the fact those assclows did it because he left then gives him plenty of sympathy

Anyone else find it a bit pathetic that they hire and heavily promote a convicted RAPIST , with no problem. But they have this official legal statement sent out and suspend Sammy over some Idiotic comments he made jokingly as a 22 year old kid? Idiotic comment is still idiotic Also in fairness to Tyson he served his time and hasn’t been in trouble since. It is no secret what Tyson did Well....except for the 1999 assaults, the 2006 DUI and felony drug possession, and the 2009 assault that was dropped. He was also accused of rape a second time in 2001 (investigation went on for a year and a half, but they determined they didn't have enough to charge him), and committed an assault in 2003 that was pleaded out instead of going to court. There was also that time he gave an interview of really gross, misogynistic comments about Sarah Palin "meeting the womb shifter" and the time he admitted to lying about his alcoholism on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2011. I mean, I do believe he's turned his life around in the last decade or so after getting sober, doing a ton for charity services and community work, but he hasn't exactly been a saint since the rape conviction.

Couldn’t help but notice the shots of Sammy (him getting chased by the golf cart, table splash on Darby Allin, even the Inner Circle group shot near the end). got edited out of the Dynamite intro last night, which I guess is the case for now until his suspension ends.

Strangely enough, Darby Allin was left in the intro. I thought AEW would have made a statement by now saying they're investigating the mental abuse accusation and suspending him if there's more to it.

I think the Darby situation is different than Guevara and Havoc insofar as Guevara's comments were recorded and (some of) the allegations against Havoc were substantiated by the actual victim, whereas as I understand the Darby situation all we have right now is an anonymous allegation of a toxic relationship at some unspecified point in the past to which Darby's name was associated by someone other than the actual victim. The Darby allegation is basically double hearsay at this point, and I don't think AEW can really justify suspending him over it at this point for a number of reasons. First and foremost, there's no actual "evidence" in the legal sense, and AEW themselves could wind up in legal hot water if they suspend him and the allegations come back unsubstantiated, but, beyond that, the allegations that have been linked to Darby, while skeevy and toxic, aren't criminal in the same way as, like, the Joey Ryan stuff. If you start to get in the business of suspending people for having been in toxic relationships in the past that, to me, is a bit of a bridge too far. Certainly, if allegations of abuse become substantiated that's a different story. I do think, though, that Darby is probably on thin ice at this point because he's starting to have a lot of past questionable behavior associated with him, so I can imagine that he's on close to a "one strike and you're out" policy with AEW when it comes to his conduct moving forward. EDIT: I see now where Darby's ex ended up confirming her friend's account of who she was talking about. That does change my thoughts about whether AEW should make a statement, but it doesn't necessarily change my thoughts on a suspension, because it still is a situation where the allegations are hearsay and more related to relationship toxicity, so AEW will need to be really discerning about whether a change in Darby's employment status is warranted.
