As for Delirious, I don't know that I've ever seen anyone so much as talk about his relationship with CHIKARA. He became drastically less active in all promotions not just CHIKARA towards the second half of 2011, and after he lost his loser leaves match to UMB in 2012, he stuck to it - never showed up in CHIKARA again. lets be honest here. Delirious may have talked about his relationship with CHIKARA several times, its just that, well, he's Delirious and nobody understands what he says when he talks

I know Whisper inherited most of what Snowflake had, I'm mainly thinking of the parts involving Argus. He disappeared not long afterward. Bit of a waste IMO, he was fun. Well, remembering the gimmick... hm, he was a brash, cocky young stud who got in over his head trying to be a hero and got his friends killed. The guilt caused a dark hidden personality to manifest, which was called Snowflake (owning the word older people had used to mock him and his generation). He collected other dark misfits, and he wavered between being a petulant, angry kid and a dark mysterious weirdo. But, all these misfits were really dangerous, because they were all trained by secret private military corporations. And Snowflake himself was... raised at an orphanage which itself was a secret child super soldier training camp, I think? And the dark Snowflake persona was his sleeper supersoldier part emerging? And Argus was an informant who knew all this? At least some of this is right. Soooo... I mean connecting that to whatever was going on with Soldier Ant makes the most sense. Add him, you got a nice little boss stable. God, Whisper was around for years longer than Snowflake was, and I remember all this and could not tell you one sentence about who Whisper was or what he wanted. Whisper still wrestles in local Indies and such too. I don't know if he'll ever make it past a mid-tier level but he's still out there doing things. The guy... sure did his best but his work rate was well... as you said a shining example of CHIKARA seemingly dumbing down their wrestlers they were churning out. His gimmick was also just... odd. I remember his oddball tag team with Princess Kimberlee (Where Whisper turned out to be her barber so he knew her secrets... yeah what a weird storyline lol)

At the very least, the gimmick is always going to stand out on any card he is on. But dude has had terrible luck with promotions he has hitched his wagon to. First it was Chikara, and then I saw him on a bunch of Synergy Pro Wrestling cards, and then the owner got outed as a convicted pedophile.

First it was Chikara, and then I saw him on a bunch of Synergy Pro Wrestling cards, and then the owner got outed as a convicted pedophile. Hope the promotion that comes around here survives then because they've booked him lol. They've also booked Mobius in his unmasked Blaxstrom gimmick. We don't get a ton of Indies my way lately as I think the locals that used to run here shut down. Stand Alone Wrestling out of Jersey randomly booked a show here and it was a big hit. They're coming back. I told the promoter "Wrestling's really liked here" and it's true. We've drown crowds in the hundreds for shows. Really good and worthwhile market for smaller promotions and unique venues too. Show was held inside of an auction house and I guarantee there isn't another show you will see that looked like theirs lol. A ton of dudes who worked the show were trained in places like The Monster Factory and CZW so the workrate was also surprisingly smooth. Less surprising when I found out where the guys trained when I asked lol. Some peeps from Grimm's Toy Show and Early GCW as well. Anthony Bennett is their Cruiserweight Champion too. They get AEW talent but sadly none of them were on that show. I saw Sonny Kiss, Kiera Hogan, Jake Atlas, and Diamante on an LGBTQ show they were doing in Jersey next month and was like "AW COME ON" lol.

I don't think Whisper was meant to have a purpose other than trolling the hell out of everyone around him. If he did, it was certainly never explained.

And that one week where Nicodemus turned him into like a 500 pound monster and then the next time we saw him he was just... normal again.

What's the story there? He went to CZW after the initial run with FIST and thought he was big-time. Seriously hurt about 5 people because he was just kicking the crap out of people or dropping them on their head. Basically reason Tyler Veritas had to retire early (Ty was Adam Cole's first partner and when they graduated from wrestling school he was considered the better prospect)

I know people thought, like, Jigsaw was a bad fit for the Vulture Squad, but I don't remember people saying he wasn't good enough in the ring to be in ROH. I don't really know who was primarily a Wrestle Factory student rather than just taking a few classes there... I'm pretty sure I remember the announcers touting people like Brodie Lee and the SSB as "graduates of the wrestle factory" even though that obviously wasn't their main place. I know lots of times people had to get distance from Chikara before getting bookings other places, but I figured that was because you knew you'd be burning a bridge with Quack. I'm also trying to think of when the quality dipped so drastically. I guess it was pretty much the shutdown. Like, the Barksdale/Hermit Crab/Prakash Sabar/Sea Stars generation was where I really noticed it. (God the Sea Stars were atrocious. Good for them, improving as much as they have.)

Guys who didn't get training outside of CHIKARA were considered very difficult to work with yes. Guys like Kingston, Brodie and Jigsaw got training before the Wrestle Factory. The guys I know who had bad reputations when it came to attitude from classic CHIKARA were Akuma and Icarus. Many the issue was more if they got bookings outside of Chikara other wrestlers didn't want to work with them because the matches were sloppy. A big portion of that was Quack trained guys in Lucha which is completely different from how everybody outside of Mexico trains. The only other negative really from trainees was a lot of wrestlers talk about about "Cult of Quack" where people took his word as gospel

The actual Quack account hasn't tweeted since June, and the actual CHIKARA account hasn't tweeted since April.
