I briefly left the Sea3on patreon for a few months and have signed up again now that the updates are increasing. The January update stated they were closer than ever to the finish line and will soon be able to start shopping the pilot around to legit studios to finish off for them. Also I have a theory on one other thing I found on their patreon that I'll spoiler tag {Spoiler}Apparently the Doomsday Project cameos in the pilot, somebody asked if it was a flashback, and the reply was 'perhaps', I think there's a possibility that it'll be revealed the project is trapped in the void and we'll get a last minute apperance by Robotnik to show he survived and we end the episode on that |

Update from the Patreon
In October they will be working with a group that will work full time on finalizing the animation, with some of that group starting a little earlier than that, they believe once the animation is finished they will have enough of a budget to commission a studio to colourize and composite everything.

They've now made this news public on twitter
Extra information is that they are now a professional animation studio, work begins around October, but full time work is projected for November

Big updates from Sea3on over on Patreon:
-Layout phase is now complete
-Helping with the in-between and animation phase are talents which include director Keith Rowsell (Star Trek: Lower Decks, Gumball, Skullgirls), and Animators Georgia Roswell (Wolf Walks, Breadwinner, Gumball), and Marco (Extremely Goofy Movie)
-Efforts are now being made to make Sea3on a Member Funded Society within the province of British Columbia, Canada where they operate

Update from Sea3on patreon:
Project member Em updated us on the current set up, they have been navigated a few challenges, including setting up their studio, working with the administrations and setting up their bank accounts. They are now in the 'crunch' phase and are seeking out collaboration tools to ensure the animation team have milestones, targets and methods by which to communicate. Options they are looking at include Syncsketch, Kitsu, and ShotGrid.

Sadly, SatAM was trending because of a new wave of Sonic fans shitting on it for being inaccurate to the games. There's a lot of sarcastic comments I can make about the quality of storytelling/characterization/world-building in the post-Genesis Sonic games, but that's something a younger, more impulsive me would have done, so I'll just settle for a simple chuckle at the argument.  |

Just saw the update on Sea3on patreon about the hoped direction they have for one of the characters. spoiler tagging just in case you want to be surprised by the pilot {Spoiler}{Spoiler}Nagus will be presented a bit like he is in the original Satam cartoon, morally ambiguous and straddling the lines between that and malevolence. His actions across the episode and possible season will leave the viewers AND characters questioning the motivations behind them.
Very glad to hear this, as I thought the character was a little too much like a straight antagonist in the comics, and that includes both Archie and Sea3on |

Really sucks that they have a 'don't share' policy, because the body of work I'm seeing come out of their discord live streams and Patreon updates are second to none. This really is SATAM fully updated and brought to life in a major way, it's going to blow your minds when it finally airs.
