Some updates from the Sea3on Patreon, I finally got to see a fresh animated scene in action and it looks very pretty indeed. No doubt they'll share it on social media the same as they eventually share all their patreon updates. Scene description: {Spoiler}Sonic, super charged by one of his power rings, is running circles around Nagus and eventually forms a huge spinning cyclone

The YT channel released a new video this weekend, but it was a much shorter version of their previous trailer with voice-over from their Sonic actor and a little bit of the first movie's soundtrack

So turns out there's another good faith effort out there to revive the SatAM universe!
This one seems like more of a film pitch and one that is alright with integrating a bit more of modern Sonic flourishes than the more "true to 1993" Sea3on project, possibly in an attempt to convince someone somewhere at Sega that this would be worth trying, but both projects certainly seem to have their hearts in the right place.
Man, it's incredibly difficult to imagine any of these really working over the long haul, but the more developed SatAM content this is causing to pop up on my YouTube homepage of late is giving me a pretty big nostalgic kick. In fact, the Sea3on team did a storyboard with voiceovers of how the ending to Ben Hurst's original concept for a third season likely would have gone, and I have to say, the combination of music, art, and voice direction definitely hit the emotional centers pretty hard. Gonna see if I can find it, it was included at the end of a larger video by a different creator talking about the journey Hurst went on trying to keep the series alive in some form over the years.

I brought up the Act 2 pitch in the "F.A.N Film" thread, I hope it suceeds just as much as Sea3on does.
I'd love to see someone animate the fan comic that concluded Sonic Underground too.
