The only thing that makes Reddit usable for me is that I heavily curate my usage there by sticking to a few subreddits that aren't overwhelmingly horrible. None of them are wrestling-related.

I almost entirely use Reddit for political stuff honestly and even then not really frequently. I've ventured into Squared Circle a few times but not often by any stretch of the imagination.

to fix the ending: I think they could add a little space between the pad and the cover, so the cushion stand out less, but didnt bother me

I thought it was a fantastic match.
Could they have shot the final bump better or have a ramp "collapse"? Yeah. But it's still a lot better than that Sammy and Matt nonsense. And think about this, we're a month removed from Mania, and how many people remember Braun throwing Shane off the top of cage? I only remember because somebody on reddit posted the gif.

I liked it a lot. The ending worked for me in that it helped sell them as faces to be concerned about Jericho's well-being.
It works precisely because, you know if the shoe was on the other foot, MJF would not have done the same for any of the others, and the others likely wouldn't do the same for him. Not earnestly, anyway, with the towel throw that began the Cody feud being entirely not MJF having any legitimate concern for his well-being, but a desire to get Cody barred from the world title and out of his way.

I absolutely enjoyed the match itself. The ending would have been fine if they stopped yelling about there being a concrete floor. As well as not trying to make the ground look like it was made of metal. I hated the commercial breaks but at least they didn't occur during the good spots. The five on five rush at each other was well timed for that.

The GRUESOME eye for an eye match probably takes the cake for me, but this is definitely up there in retrospect. I thought it was insane as an 8-year-old though. I still think Rikishi should get credit for taking a no look bump off that thing though. And he did it while wearing a thong tha-thong thong thong! He probably had hay all up in his crevices

I didn’t see it as that big a deal but I can see why people did. Honestly, I guess I’m just used to how TNA f***ed stuff up and people’s reaction to TNA f***ing stuff up where I’m worried that people are just going to give up on it after a while because, even if they aren’t nearly as bad, they’re still screw ups. It’s really silly and I need to learn not to take it that way (and it also doesn’t matter because AEW is in a better, more stable spot than TNA was with Spike) but that’s my fear with this stuff. Of course there's that from bad faith fans. But I feel like there's a growing sentiment amongst fans that you shouldn't criticize AEW because its not WWE. I highly disagree with that logic, while there are some bad faith critics, most of us just want some minor tweaks to improve AEW and sometimes I feel like on this board, people offering legit criticisms get jumped on and having to explain our points multiple times. Lumping us in with the bad faith folks isnt it either. See, my mindset is I want AEW to be as great as it can be and if shit annoys me or it don't look right i'm going to call it out. You are doing the product a disservice if you just hand wave it away because you enjoy it and don't want to hear anything bad, at least imo. I don't think you should be jumped on for legit criticism or picking out something you don't like.

I watched the match, it was a good match nothing spectacular
Ending was meh just because it looked super silly. But the most important thing is this was a definitive W for MJF. This should springboard him up as despite some high profile stuff he has done, he has sort of been walking in place since his feud with Cody
He is ready for bigger and better things. He's still a ways away from the AEW world title but I can see him getting strapped up in 2022

Was it known in advance that the only match being done for the live crowd was the Blood And Guts match and that the rest of the card had already been taped and would just be airing on the tron? I’d have to assume so.

Enjoyed the match and the entire episode. That last spot thou... holy shit it looked like Jericho just got drunk and flopped down into his hotel bed and was clowning around with the paramedics. Right before the camera literally focused on Jericho talking about the spot. Then afterword it was like the camera focused on the cardboard steel.
They need to get a little better at framing their big spots like that. As long as they don't go all Kevin Dunn and have 19 camera cuts for a 20 second spot.

The match was great except for the homestretch where it felt like a slog but on that ending do people want Jericho to die...you know what dont answer that This is a strawman. People keep making this point, but who is asking for that?

I’d have to assume so. Yeah, they were advertising it as a one match show. Tony did also say at the start of the show to the crowd that you could get a refund if you didn't expect it to be a one-match show which I guess is a good thing to do but also I don't know how you could with the advertising. Better safe then sorry, I guess.

They could have done so much other stuff than having Jericho land on a crash pad. My problem with these spots like this and the death match is who is AEW even trying to fool here? Like most of AEW fans know well enough how wrestling works and I feel like doing spots like this just makes everyone look dumb. AEW has the problem of eyes being bigger than there stomach. They don't have the production experience to pull off big spots like this all the time and it shows. They need to think smaller but more effective. Less is more. Well said. To add on, I think AEW ramps it up, especially as of late is that they're making up lost time. The Pandemic f***ed up another of things they probably had planned so they feel let's get our shit in. They can slow up just a bit.

I will say that I feel like the people here in this board are 95% cool even when it comes to criticism. Some may be nit picky, but I generally think when they have good faith when criticizing. It mostly Reddit who go way overboard. Basically Reddit sucks. I love AEW, but I feel like there isn't a lot of places with a happy medium. Twitter, Reddit, etc. Seems like way too many non-AEW fans who will criticize anything they do, but also too many AEW fanboys who won't like even AEW fans being critical of any point of the product. AEW is neither deserving of the non-fans blatant over-criticism, which I'm positive isn't a word lol, nor are they deserving of this infallibility idea that the fanboys have. In all, it's VERY, VERY difficult to have an even-handed conversation of the product almost anywhere, which is infuriating as a fan of the product who wants to discuss it.

My biggest problem was the part where all of Pinnacle was down, they've got a bloodied MJF in a hold, and a FORK to his face, and they don't finish it Tully Blanchard vs. Magnum TA I Quit Cage Match style.
Not saying IC should have won, but its baffling to have their opponents in that predicament and not win there.

Good match, but didn't like Jericho smiling at the camera when he was supposed to look like he was out cold from a big bump.
MJF pushing Jericho off the cage and the "Thank you!" line were both iconic heel moments, however.

Like I wasn't crazy about the Jericho stuff as I've made apparent, but it didn't change my thoughts on what that did for MJF. I want him to get a title run sooner v. later if at all possible. I think he can run with it if given the chance.
