One more for the "actually likes Scorpio Sky" club. I love wrestlers who are good at Bret Hart style technical moves, same reason I was a Curtis Axel mark.
Also, I still don't care about Brian Cage. Not sure if people are souring on him lately, but I know he was pretty popular for a while.

Mark Henry and Big Show add nothing to the company and have no business being in AEW. Gallows and Anderson are the drizzling shit's everywhere they've been and have been riding the Bullet Club hype train since 2015. Nobody cares about them and they're only in The Elite to be 2 extra bodies. They don't actually add anything to the group. Eddie Edwards might be decent on the mic but no casual fan would be leaving the TV on to see this guy who looks like he manages his local KFC. Jake Hager is one of the most pointless signings they ever made. Nobody wants to see this guy. All of Cody's "students" or whatever have no business being on TV until they find themselves an actual gimmick and personality. There's too many wrestlers in the company with no gimmick or personality. I get they want to go for an 80s wrestling kinda feel where everyone was a "normal guy in trunks" but you need more than that in 2021. QT Marshall and The Revival especially are complete channel changers. And the amount of "flippy guys in tights" they have is crazy. These guys need a distinctive look at the very least if they want to break through the ceiling. Overall, I love the company and think it's miles better than WWE right now. But there is a few things they're doing that makes me think "Well, I wish they did this instead..." - It's nowhere close to how I feel when I'm watching WWE but it's still there. i know you mean Eddie Kingston but the idea of the sight of Eddie Edwards being a manager at KFC is hilarious to me for some reason "One Bargain Bucket with extra Fries, Sir."

AEW has this big amazing roster yet how they book their storylines and structure their shows and matches. I feel like were going to have a bunch of missed opportunity threads a few years from now.

Mikey Ruckus theme songs are very hit or miss. his older themes are definitely hit or miss, i think they have been better recently They need to get rid of that weird TV turning on noise on Punk's theme. It doesn't work as well as the static and if they don't want to outright copy WWE, the opening riff of Cult of Personality is so recognizable without any additional noises.

Mikey Ruckus theme songs are very hit or miss. Matt Hardy's: Fine Eddie Kingston: Needs his theme changed Dark Order: Lose the Rukus lyrics Pride and Powerful first theme was by far their best, there was no need to change it. Also remember that time he remixed Archer theme and he got slandered online that Archer got his original theme back?

I feel like esthetically and visually, the shows look too dark and underground.

Private Party's 1st theme was better. You hear it & instantly know who's coming. You hear their current theme & it sounds like it could be a thousand other songs.

Almost every AEW main event since the very beginning goes about 5 to 10 minutes too long

Aubrey Edwards is a terrible referee. I’ve no idea why she is this internet darling other than maybe she’s the first high profile female referee? Her theatricality is over the top 10/10, from her body language to her exaggerated gestures and reactions to the action she’s calling. To me, the referee should be invisible unless actively necessary, and in her case, I find she’s always all over the place. She - just like all other referees in the company - seemingly has no power, doesn’t enforce any of the rules except for the 5 count to release a hold (theatrically of course). So Aubrey always gets split into two camps among the wrestling community. Yours which is "She takes away from the match and shows too much personality/referees should just be invisible" and the other which is "I like her personality. I like her as a person. I like the attitude she brings to certain matches and relationships she has built with certain wrestlers (Like Jericho)" So it's absolutely just going to be a matter of preference. I like her but she's been a much less conventional referee. I don't even think it has a ton to do with the fact she's a woman and more just for the fact people like her. This same inflection and taste can be reflected in Bryce Remsburg as well. I've watched Bryce for over a decade so I'm used to his antics and I actually welcome them... but if you've never seen them? It can come across annoying or breaking away from certain traditions. When it comes to AEW refs being incredibly lenient this is also something that either annoys you because you want to see DQ's or you've been so burned by DQ's (And continue to be if you watch stuff like WWE) that you actively don't mind and like that the refs actually allow certain things to play out. DQ's are looked at as a pretty negative storyline tool in the company... but who knows if that will change when the storyline dictates for it or if referee discretion becomes too distracting to accept. I'm in the "refs can have characters" camp. Maybe it's the Attitude era fan in me, back then, Hebner, White, Chioda, in the 80s Marella, the other Hebner. The ref is another person in the ring, if they can have a connection with the fans, and act in a way that gets the crowd popping more, go for it. Hell, you can even make money off it, if refs are personalities, chuck out some merch, even something tiny. Same way interviewers should have them, not just be human mic stand #347. And onto mine. I have no problem with Marko Stunt in the ring. He knows he's small, 99% of his offense is either countering something using the guy's momentum against them, or throwing himself at people and apart from the hosses, that looks fine. Occasional flurry of punches or whatever that don't do much and don't get sold, but he's fine.

Cody Rhodes and his over the top antics entertain me. This. Plus I like how he is now as a tweener-face, who can win over the crowd by being heartfelt, but his character has such a big head and an ego that he can also get heat against other faces.

I like how stables are presented more like training camps and friend groups but it also means that there's a really substantial amount of stables that I don't care about at all.
