Guys, he's being a heel. You can think that's lame in 2021 but this is a schtick. I think the part where he doubles down in the face of a public "Dude, I'm not doing a storyline with you" is where I judge him as an asshole for keeping up the schtick.

The issue is, he's doing shit and doubling and tripling down on a guy who said "I want nothing to do with this and you never asked me or my wife if this was ok", there's a time and a place to be in character and "keep kayfabe alive" and retroactively pissing off a top free agent that AEW might wanna sign and making his wife deactivate Twitter are not things you wanna do let alone commit to imo. I have no doubt Ogogo is playing up his antics, but he doesn't know how to read the room, and he's coming off like a fool here tbh.

Definitely, I just think he's a different case from Pillman who I think actually believes some of the stupid shit he says.

Oh, putting it in that way, Ogogo is a guy too deep in the joke to get out of it. Pillman’s a bit of an idiot. Which is unfortunate because I like him and Garrison together.

Yeah, Pillman's got a good heart but he's naive when it comes to the dumb shit he believes imo, but I feel like Ogogo realizes he overstepped but instead of walking back is committed to staying in character online I really hope he messaged Gresham in DMs and actually apologized, but even still he gains nothing by saying this shit on Twitter or continuing to unless he worked out a plan to show up at Terminus and punch Gresham out. He just ain't helping himself here.

Ogogo might be working, but he's working himself into a shoot.

I’ve always said this, the stuff that is making it “ruining society” is down to the people running the sites not doing anything about the problems. If Twitter, Facebook or whoever weren’t so reliant on shareholders or people who are funding them to do it, they might get off their high horses and sort out the problems of the user bases. Same with places like YouTube that could probably solve all kinds of problems with a snap of their fingers because they’re owned by Google. And the fact is, this shit isn’t hard. I’m not going to say this forum hasn’t had issues or we haven’t butted heads but all of us here are volunteers making this place work. If we can do it, billion dollar tech companies with infinite resources sure as hell can. With all due respect to your experience, I don't actually agree it would be as easy to police twitter or facebook as it is a wrestling forum (scaled up or no), and there are serious questions as to what, why and how a big tech company should be policing what in 2021 amounts to public speech. There's a reason so much of this stuff is done with algorithms, and algorithms get things wrong all the time.

If I was a big name wrestler, I would use Twitter like Moxley does. Popping in every now and then to promote something then going ghost on that thing again.
Not only because it adds a level of mystique, but honestly because mentally I wouldn't be able to handle all the different types of messages people send, especially the crude hater tweets and the downright weird stuff.

The best thing Twitter ever did was allow user to restrict who replies to their tweets. Sometimes you just got to disengage from the fans for your own mental health. This place is fairly well moderated, but some many other discussion boards and social media are toxic as hell.
Ogogo does need to just back off. It is ok to want to stir the pot a little, but at some point you have to read the room. Even MJF, with his DGAF attitude, does actually read the room well on Twitter. He picks his battles.

I think Twitter and social media in general has made me realize that I really care don’t too much about wrestlers personal lives. Unless they commit horrific crimes or are complete scumbags, I literally don’t want know too much about any of these guys.
And I blame myself for some of it because the internet is addictive and social media is also addictive so I sometimes will get swallowed up in this shit. When in reality, all I really want with wrestling and wrestlers is to be entertained. It’s the same with all media. You never really want to know how the sausage is made so to speak.

That haircut offends me. The strange thing about this whole thing that even if the heat is real and the whole thing is an unwanted shoot, it still feels like pure pro wrestling, at least from Ogogo’s end. Maybe he doesn’t really know know what’s reality at this point…or this whole thing really is a work. I have no idea.

Now I'm hooked. What did Pillman do? I'm only aware of anything Twitter if decent social media like this board cites it. Otherwise I'm pretty sure people not having to reveal their ages leads to the puberty teaching the adulthood on how to behave, which is a lot of the reason why the big platforms are as acne-riddled as anyone's teenage boy.
