I thought it was a fun watch! Better than I was expecting. I don't know how Disney got most of those cameos in (I doubt parody fair use would apply here, right?) {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I totally want to see that ET vs. Batman movie. Preferably with Batman beating the crap out of him because I always found ET to be creepy. |

Possible, but there's also the thought I had... {Spoiler}That Chip's mom, since she looks so much like Chip as we know him, played against gender and was Chip in films before. Would count for the voice in the past. She just named her son after her character. |

While I'm not entirely for redoing theme songs, the theme song is actually halfway decent. Although it does miss the climax of the original theme.

If they did this with Bonkers instead which have made more sense. I think the Ellie's role could have been grown up Marilyn Pickel, especially if you got Tina Fey to play her.
I always envisioned a Bonkers sequel which would have the human character be live action to have Marilyn be the new main human character. Though Lucky might have passed away by now, I don't know. I always thought it would be interesting if Fawn Dear had a crush on Bonkers and he is so dense, like role reversal from the shorts. But giving what this movie did, maybe make her and Jitters an item. And let Bonkers and Fall Apart be together like they were always meant to be.

Not a movie, but the early trailers for Gravity Falls looked pretty dire: Seriously, without knowing what we know now, it looks like some obnoxious "edgy" cartoon (ie, "Butt Island", the gnomes puking rainbows). Yet it ended up being one of the most beloved Disney channel shows. |
