well it’s Dublin so yeah you do. How dare yo- *sees the 15th hotel being constructed this week instead of literally anything else*…can’t argue with that, actually. Well Dublin is no Cork I’ll tell you that. Anyway sorry to the rest of the forum for that brief detour into an Irish specific joke. Back to regularly scheduled programmes.

If I'm not mistaken, the men already have a dress code they have to follow. Either approved athletic wear or a suit. So why can't the women also wear athletic wear or a suit? Same for everyone? Because there are certain people in management who...get turned on by women wearing very little clothing even behind the scenes. There's a reason why pretty much every woman who leaves WWE thanks Triple H, and tends to either ignore or throw people like Johnny Ace under the bus.

I'm pretty much under the opinion that the entire concept of a dress code is bullshit. I'm okay with people needing to run major changes like drastic haircuts or tattoos by WWE before doing them for marketing reasons (but even then, it should be more of a give-them-a-heads-up thing than WWE actually having to approve it), but so long as you can do your job and aren't walking around in a shirt with the SS logo on it or something who cares what you show up to the airport wearing.

Well the current trend in NXT again shows that HHH was right with how he signed and how he presented women. It’s a shame funk man and others now seem to want to return to an era that didn’t work.

Once again, this is how many women(especially the age ranges of the NXT women) actually dress & NXT is pushing for a younger vibe so this makes sense. This is how many women athletes actually dress when not competing. Go look at WNBA or UFC athletes in how they show up to their games/fights. None of these women are dressed crazy by the standards that actual women athletes wear outside of the sport. Yeah I dunno about you, but I don't see many women dressing like that. I see more women dressing in more casual attire like shown in the last picture there than walking around wearing fashion designer brand clothing. And it's blatantly obvious they are being told to show more skin and "dress sexier". You defending it is baffling since its painfully obvious its resulted in the women who aren't wanting to dress like that being heavily de-emphasized or outright buried. WNBA Players FashionWNBA Players Fashion 2Also, I am not defending women being told to dress sexier. Women should wear what they want. Let me make that clear. I am arguing that the photo posted of those women is not anything crazier than what women athletes or women in real life actually dress like. I see women dressed like that all-time in real life & Instagram. It's a bad argument to use that photo to argue that the women are being told what to wear when women these days are wearing clothes like that especially women in their 20s like the majority of the new NXT classes are. So it could be that these women are being told to dress sexier? Absolutely. Probably likely honestly. But it's also possible that's just how many of the women of NXT like to dress. I did a 10-minute IG search for the NXT women and yeah, a lot of them dress like that. So using that photo as a "smoking gun" is a weird critique. I'm sorry but it is.

She seems like such a cool person. I wasn’t really a fan of hers, but I really liked her coming out of this.

I mean, those links aren’t really giving the context of the outfits in question and the Instagrams themselves don’t help, were they going to an event? Was it to an actual game? Was it Draft Night and had Met Gala style conditions? All of those would put completely different contexts onto your point.

But this is not simply about women dressing sexy especially on their own time this is about it being tied to their career progression....you can freely argue this is how women I see everyday dress or on Instagram(that is a terrible example by the way since Instagrams entire purpose is thottery). We are talking about the edict within the company...and the photos are a perfect example of that change and this is what Ember Moon was saying and that is the problem again exemplified in the photos. WNBA women I am sure are not called into a meeting for 2hrs and told dress sexier but then get benched because they did not adhere to the advice. I mean look at who is being pushed....Nikkita , Toxic Attraction , Tiffany Stratton it aint IMO difficult to connect the dots from what Ember is saying to what we are seeing on screen with the women.

It's possible, but having the entire roster suddenly go from one style to the other in a short space of time is rather conspicuous. We know there was a meeting, and since then things have changed, and people who have left had issues with what was said. Can also point out that the newer photo is almost entirely different women, but then, that still points to a change in attitude. They're hiring women who won't need a fashion meeting because that's what they already dress like, and considering the newer hiring style, there's a loooot of circumstantial evidence pointed in a certain direction.

I mean you can literally just google WNBA players arriving to game fashion if that's what you want. You can also just google women in their 20s IG looks if that's what you want & most of the things you'll find are exactly like how the NXT women are dressing as. That's just the style today.

You really think a company as stringent as WWE with their money right now is just gonna hand out money to women to go out and get high fashion dresses and shoes etc? That sounds like something a sugar daddy does for sexual favors in return.

The Performance Center doesn't have enough lockers and WWE is culling people left and right but yeah sure they must be altruistically making high fashion dreams come true, and the fact the only woman who's commented publicly on said meetings framed them highly negatively is just to be brushed aside in all of this. Also there's something funky to me about using examples from an article called "WNBA’S MOST FASHIONABLE PLAYERS" and being like 'Yeah this is normal across the board'. It's singling out the most stylish of these players on a fashion article. That's going to drum up some pretty inherent biases. Also I don't wanna assume anyone's genders just because they're omitted but the fact that nobody who's openly female-presenting on their profile is like 'Yeah this is normal this feels above board' reads kinda damning to me as a sub-point.

If it came out that women are getting depushed for not dressing sexy that's f***ed up but that isn't what Ember suggested lol. You implied that. But it literally makes sense why they're pushing those women. Nikitta like it or not is getting over. They should be pushing her. Tiffany Stratton is a young blonde with the potential to replace Lacey Evans & Charlotte as both those women are in their 30s & who knows how long they'll be doing it much longer. Every company even AEW like their blonde women to push lol Toxic Attraction 3 women who have a lot of potential on the main roster with Jacy & Gigi both having experience on the indies but also being super young. Your favorite(lol) Lash Legend has great size & they want a young black woman to mold into their next Bianca or Sasha and she's 24. Like I get it, you're annoyed because they're not pushing your faves but every woman they're pushing hard in NXT has super valid reasons why they're getting a push and it isn't just because they're hot.

Like Seth Rollins isn't paying out the ass every week for his tacky suits. Cody probably isn't paying for every suit he wears on Raw. Yes, they have a budget for clothing for their talent. Does sugar daddy do for sexual favors??? Like what are we doing here?
