He celebrates by jumping into the crowd and breaking his foot Can we not make fun of how another wrestler possibly got hurt after watching a wrestler work an entire match with a torn pec? Doesn't really help anything.

Say what you want but Cody made himself tonight. This will never be forgotten. I’d say he’s quite broken, actually.

From a wrestler who’s torn his pec, That ball depends on the muscle or the tendon, if you rupture a tendon and don't get it fixed, you'll have this massive ball of scar tissue that's painful and your muscle will become deformed.

Cody’s bruise is about to achieve sentience. Cody's bruise is about to be in 2k23 Would have been unlock-able in WWF Attitude.

Idk how you can hate Cody Now. This is probably the best match of the year. The story telling in this match was top tier and whole feud was compelling even with basically the same result 3 times.

Ain't tolerating any Cody slander after that, wow You're gonna have to tolerate it, it was f***ing stupid, I'm sorry Good match or not, he had a torn pec and worked a long match where most of the offense was focused on said torn pec. The heart and spirit of Cody are commendable, but the dude has so much invested in him and has a family, you're risking further injury on a B-PPV that was not worth doing it on. This ain't Mania or Summerslam. He has too much of a bag to fumble it trying to show his "true grit" or whatever imo. I just hope he's ok and didn't make it worse.

No one is necessarily HATING Cody, but you can very well call him a dumbass for performing the match and not agree with the decision.

After WWE Hell in A Cell went off the air, a crying Cody Rhodes took the mic and said that he would discuss his injury more tomorrow on Raw and thanked everyone for coming to the show.
Rhodes apologized to the fans for being hurt and said that he wanted everyone to know that no one made him come out to perform and that he made that decision. He said came out "here" by myself and nothing was going to stop him from reaching his goal.

Say what you want but Cody made himself tonight. This will never be forgotten. Cody was made well before this and did not need to do this to "Make himself" imo. And it arguably won't be forgotten for negative reasons too.

A couple of pictures if anybody wants to compare Start of match and the end I didn't see the match so I literally went "Holy F**k!!!" when I saw those pics. Why would you wrestle with that. God Cody don't do that again.

And it arguably won't be forgotten for negative reasons too. I think you’re underestimating the crowd that will think this guy is a hero for doing that. I’m admittedly between the two camps, but assuming he didn’t make things much worse, as sick as it is this likely raises his stock.

Cody just wanted to give it all to the fans no matter how bad his body is damaged. He deserves RESPECT. That’s the thing. Cody is a carny. For better or worse, he takes this shit extremely serious. He was proud of the show selling out and he was the face on the poster. He probably didn’t want to let the fans down even though he’s a complete dumbass for doing it. The man also worked a ladder match with Sammy Guevera a few months ago and took insane bumps despite the fact he wasn’t even technically under contract at the time.

When it comes to wrestlers and injuries the last 48 hours this has been rough, cool that Cody was still able to put out a good match from it, but people calling this "Match of the Year" or in Dave's case "One of the most compelling matches in history" are making me give a side eye. This shit should not be condoned, at all. I don't wanna see wrestlers who are absolutely f***ed to no end, try and grind it out until they grind themselves to the nub and there's nothing left. It's why I'm glad Kenny Omega took a break and got his surgeries and shit done when the wheels were falling off.
I don't want to see wrestlers thinking they can go out and do this, I don't want to see companies ok'ing the idea that "Cody went out there and had a banger, this is fine", it's not. It just isn't. This should not have happened. Again, props to them that they made it work... but I feel like it happening at all is just kind of... embarrassing?
I just am gonna have a really hard time praising this one. WWE and Cody don't come off flattering in my book by doing it. It's gonna be one to process... and I really pray we never see something like it again, full stop.

Sure Is he now out potentially 6 plus months? Yes So I just have to feel like it's a big "I won but at what cost?" situation. Dude essentially needs to get the immediate rocket belt push when he's back, and if he doesn't, this felt even more pointless, and that's even dependent on when he returns and if he even beats Roman.
