The only Star Wars stuff I want to celebrate.
EDIT: The trailer has leaked... *chef's kiss*

I find Tony Gilroy's lack of fannish devotion to Star Wars to be so refreshing. I wish more creatives in franchise entertainment had his attitude.

The F-bomb feels incredibly gratuitous and self-indulgent in this context. It's not adding anything to the scene, you're just saying it because you can say it and not get in trouble, like a naughty middle-schooler.

Finally caught up with this and people have already praised most of it but I want to give a shout to the architecture and set design. The space brutalist style was a nice way to highlight the oppressive power of the empire, very USSR.

Features like this make me long for fully loaded physical releases for streaming shows.

I'm guessing the strikes affected the release schedule. Should be worth the wait though.

I'd rather they took the time to make the best S2 they can. Plus, it's not a bad idea to space out the TV shows more. The Acolyte looks like it could be really, really good and I'm sure Andor will be too.

That mean we're not getting S3 of The Bad Batch next year?
