Eddie caused a lot of problems for Muhammad Hassan because the camel clutch was a Guerrero family original move. I guess Sheik and Slaughter paid their so called dues and were allowed to do it multiple years earlier. LOL. But Hassan was treated badly for not understanding this was all of a sudden a protected move that needed to be OKed with Eddie. Yeah, I mean Hassan was basically in a catch 22 no matter what. Honestly, the vets could just be obnoxiously snobbish towards anyone who didn't fully grasp the ins and outs as much as they do. Did Eddie have a right to use the move? Absolutely! Did he need to aggressively cut down Hassan in front of everyone in order to prove his point? Of course not. And if you're Hassan, you just have to take it, because you're trying to fit in, you're trying to do the right things according to the company. Like...anyone with common sense would know how to handle the situation better than these guys did. On top of that, Hassan was encouraged by Kurt Angle to discuss it with Eddie, so even Kurt wasn't aware of the history of the move! Speaking of Kurt, Eddie tried to pick a fight with him over something petty and...yeah not the smartest thing to do. Even Eddie admitted afterward it wasn't. I had heard that Hassan went to Eddie to complain because Eddie used the camel clutch in a match and it was Hassan's finisher. It was then he learned Eddie's family invented the move.

or thinking he was framed by Kevin Sullivan. This needs to be an epiphany to some to not take wrestling way so seriously.

Still seems surreal 15 years later. The guy was my favourite wrestler for years ever since he was feuding with The Rock in mid 2000.
For years I struggled to go back and watch his matches. Now I’m ok with it but I’m not going back to watch the end of Mania XX on a regular basis or anything despite that probably being the most I ever wanted a wrestler to win a match.

I couldn't believe it, I was returning from summer classes and saw here that Benoit & his family passed away suddenly and figured it was carbon monoxide poisoning like most people did.
I saw the announcement on WWE.com that the Raw show was cancelled and it would be a 3-hour tribute to Benoit in an empty arena, it was a nice show until news started to get out about how they all died and the rest of the summer was a haze to me. Every other day you were seeing current & former wrestlers on CNN and other networks talking about it.
