2 men finally kissing should be saved for a big show like Wrestlemania Roman and Brock need to end their eternal rivalry with a steamy kiss on the grandest stage of them all.

For his own good I'm hoping Gage loses. He can't keep going like this, his body is totally wrecked to the point where him walking is sad to watch. One of the reasons I'm not a huge fan of those in charge of GCW. They tend to enable some people who they shouldn't (especially Gage) and I believe that's a big reason why Cogar left GCW Nah he left because he didn't get the Hammerstein Ballroom title match. And GCWs former merch maker offered him the moon for his start up promotion. Had nothing to do with Gage

Some of the more controversial spots in that match are ones that you see in lucha all the time. It’s not that insane at all. And the match with Effy wasn’t nearly as concerning as the match Mox had with El Desperado at New Japan STRONG’s Music City Mayhem.
The only awful part of the Mox/Effy match was that Effy’s punches were so unbelievably terrible. This from a guy who was recently in the ring with Double J.

I thought Effy’s punches looked old school and bad ass. Mox just standing there no selling then made them look awful. Gage vs. Mox doesn’t need the title, and Gage disappears for months at a time due to health and personal reasons. Mox in GCW has kinda run it’s course as he’s Brocked the entire roster. I would have had agaves cost him the title to Effy. Dude deserves it, even if some of stuff has been hit or miss lately. I get Gage is their cash cow but they should be setting up Mance vs. Mox 2 with Mance having home field advantage. Oh it’s title vs. career… I guess. I feel the same way. Once Gage walked out I was like "ughhhhhhhhh" and any interest in the title evaporated. It seems the owner is so stars in his eyes for Gage that he can't see the easy lay-ups when he has them. Like Cogar for Hammerstein, and Mance as the next challenger. I only watched this one b/c I was intrigued at Effy fighting for the title, and now my interest is negative until Mox drops the belt, or Gage drops the belt if he wins it from him.

Yeah, Mancer as at least a filler challenger for Mox on the way to Gage is such an easy lay up that was missed. Like, I know they've invested in the Mance/Justice SGC team in the tag division, but they could cycle in Manders for one night.

Given his wrestling style and his overall lifestyle I guess I shouldn't be surprised at how quickly Nick Gage has broken down body wise, but it's still surprising to see it after he looked like he had a career year literally just in 2021 vs the likes of Moxley, Cardona, and Jericho ON DYNAMITE
I thought the sky would be the limit for the guy going forward, and now just over a year later people are like "Dude needs to hang it up, now", again I know it shouldn't be surprising given how Nick Gage lives his life and wrestles his matches, but still.

He was really really banged up during those matches. He hurt his achilles back in 2020 and I don't think it ever properly healed.

I do like that almost as soon as a major company starts letting it's stars behave like true independent contractors, some fans are switching right over to "they shouldn't be letting them do that".

The only issue I would have with Mox doing indies as AEW Champ is him doing the crazy sh*t along with bleeding like crazy. He needs to be healthy for All Out. Other than that... as long as he doesn't do something that would hinder the company paying him millions (coming from a promoter POV).... do your thing!

And let's be honest, I doubt he hated ALL the "stupid shit" he was doing or that he wanted to be super serious bad ass. Man was doing goofy shit with Yano the first chance he got in New Japan. Man was just burnt out on all the shit he was going through in WWE

Moxley left WWE cause they made him do stupid shit. Now he's doing stupid shit all on his own. "On his own" are the keywords here. Moxley is a guy that wants freedom to do what he likes doing creatively. He's very much a "for the art" wrestler. It's why I can never see him going back to WWE anytime soon unless they let him do the same.
