It won't, not while decent animation is expensive to produce. Once they can get AI to do it, most of WBDs output will become animated by AI, scripted by AI, voiced by non union Canadians and edited by 5 guys in India. I can get watching a series to the end so you can confidently say it was rubbish. A famous English film critic, Barry Norman was once asked has a movie been so bad you've walked out? He replied that he hasn't because if you did and said "this movie was terrible" somebody could say "ah, but did you see the last half hour? That totally redeemed it." Now he said they are probably lying but you can't really argue with them.
So, yeah, hate watching series 1 I get, if you do it for a second series then please get a life and do something you enjoy.

What's really frustrating is how obvious it is that they're just ragebaiting. Anyone online enough to be aware of any one of a dozen [insert media here]gate movements knows the easiest way to rack up negative press is to make the hot character not hot.
It's so obvious what Mindy is doing. It's all so tiresome.

The few chuds irritated by it don't get rage clicks, don't get pushback so the content stops after a day or so. Screaming 'This sucks!' stops being any fun fast when people you want to be furious shrug and go 'we agree!' |

I just can't muster up any real anger towards "Velma" because it's going to have zero impact, ultimately. Scooby Doo as a franchise never stays idle for long, and there will be other shows, movies, comics, games, etc, and none of this will really come back around.
It's just a bad cartoon, really, a low-rent Harley Quinn or Venture Bros, and not even especially unique in that respect. It doesn't really do anything new with any meta takes, either, since Mystery Incorporated did that well before it, and far more competently.
