Idk man, kinda feels like if this is causing this much tension between the mods and the user base as a whole I think everyone would understand at this point if the thread was just ended, this doesn't feel healthy. I don't exactly see this leading to any sort of endgame outside of making users more tense and uncomfortable about more than just this situation, it's just sort of causing a gap between the administrators and the public audience even more than there already might be.

I have been pushed around plenty on this board and harassed in ways no user really should be within the past almost two years especially, and I don't exactly know how to solve it and the other extenuating issues the boards had with interactions and arguments, but if this thread is making things this tense especially when it comes to your outlook on the entire Proboard I think letting it stew might not be the play.

That's my two cents on the ordeal, I think both sides have been in the wrong at different times and there have been overboard takes on both ends. It's really up to you guys if you think that it's been enough, but if it's locked, you might need to embargo CM Punk threads as a whole for a bit, because there's no guarantee that even if you did lock this, Punk Thread III won't just manifest from a random one that stays open... like this one did lol

But this is like the second post in two months from you in this thread specifically just going aggro on posters out of nowhere. If you've gotten hatred from peopel over a moderation decision, moderate that person, don't turn that onto the whole community like this. Just a month and a half ago you were making weird accusatory statements about how everyone behaves on other websites that 'gets back to you'. It all reads as resentment to the community for the behaviors of a much smaller number of people and it's only going to make a place where tensions are so high and people are just up and deleting their accounts into a worse, more deletey place as those tensions get worse. Like I just can't fathom how "Mod shows up and complains openly about the existence of the thread, then insults the people in it" isn't a genre of post that makes things worse, chief among them beign the relationship between the mods and the other posters.

And I agree, ever since it was confirmed Punk came back, the mood of this thread changed, because everyone was sure he was gone and it was just a big meme party. Not gonna lie, and I'm not saying people aren't justified in feeling that way, but since that moment, this thread went from lighthearted to in many cases, miserable, and that's on all sides, to the point a Mod is now ready to square up on the userbase for it

That to me is a giant red flag that this has outstayed its welcome, it's literally tearing at the entire structure of FAN itself, and idk that's... that's not good. It feels like we need a gigantic intervention on like a Discord Server or giant DM Thread something to actively talk this out if it's even feasible because it's not seemingly improving, this is showing it's actively degrading.

Punk to me isn't any alignment right now, and he's declaring he never lost so he's put it upon himself to have anyone prove him wrong

It being called the Real World Title to me only signifies the belt isn't the real belt to anyone but Punk, and Ricky just wants it so Punk can't have it, believes he is the face of the Collision brand.

If MJF's face thing keeps up this is gonna continue to be really interesting, I'm invested for that alone, doing this story with the roles flipped.
