But the E is dead center in the title, not covering that would looking freaking worse than it does now.

It would be hard to do an X over the title without it covering the E so while I'm always up for accusing Punk of pettiness, I really don't think that is one

Yeah, I think I've been one of the most vocal critics against this dumb "real world champion" angle and even I think the X going over the E is a coincidence.

Unless Punk did the most uneven X ever, it had to go over the center and that's where the E is. And being Punk, an X was the most logical way for him to deface the belt (unless he wanted to spend 10 minutes making a Pepsi logo and then getting sued for it)

I still don't like treating it like an actual belt to be defended, but if the Genie is out of the bottle, then have him lose the Pepsi Belt to a guy dressed like Max Headroom, who then turns it into the "New Coke Belt".

Looks like they are going full bore face with him right now, and Ricky beating the shit out of Steamboat's a good way for Punk to get the crowd behind him, they were tonight by the end especially. This is a hot program, won't be shocked if he costs Punk the trios belts next week

Big thing is that trios match, if CMFTR in fact do end up winning, with The Elite re-signing to long term deals... CMFTR vs The Elite for the Trios Titles is definitely happening at All Out, that is of course IF CMFTR win, could very easily not. Feels liek Elite re-signing kicked stuff into a new gear though

Going full speed with Punk as a face is a mistake, in my opinion. The crowd responses are too mixed, he's better as a heel anyway and I feel like he can help a lot more people as a heel than as a face.

It was one thing for Punk to say the "Counterfeit Bucks" stuff a few weeks ago.

But The Elite confirming they're sticking around, and Kenny Omega even teasing they could show up on Collision.

It feels more likely now . If not, there will still be people that won't shut up about it until it does happen.

Even if it doesn't... Wembley Stadium is a big place, at least they can be kept at opposite ends of the place in 3 weeks.
