Better crafting. You guys suck at macaroni art. HEY! The only pasta I had left were bowties. You know how hard it is to glue those damn things down?!

It's definitely not just exclusive to this board; I've had the same thing happen to me on the WWE board. It's also typically comes from people not properly reading what I've posted, misrperesenting my argument, so I have to come back, correct them, but then they continue on anyway, and it's annoying as all shit.

You know what the problem has been lately? We ran out of muffins.
We need more muffins.

Less categorizing would be great. Seeing people as individuals and not as part of a homogenic group. That might eliminate instances of instant snark, swearing and assumptions. People can argue for and against something without being in universal agreement or disagreement, yet it's seemingly often the case that you either have to openly pick a side or you are pushed onto one.

Better crafting. You guys suck at macaroni art. Well maybe if you wouldn't give me something that tastes good when cooked and mixed with cheese, I would do some art.

1. Like what you like, don't be a dick. Cannot be stressed enough how important this one is. The one thing we got to keep in mind is that wrestling comes in many different forms, much like movies come in many different genres. Everyone's got their own preferences as to what they prefer to see when they watch wrestling, just like everyone has their own dislikes. That's perfectly fine, and the beauty of wrestling is that it has many different forms for you to pick & choose from that best suits you. What's not ok is constantly shitting on the product while being a dickwad about it. Criticism is fine, but keep the toxicity out of it.
2. Learn to take a step back & be more considerate for others. Empathy goes a long way.
3. If the discourse gets too rowdy, then maybe discretion is the better part of valor. Personally, I try to stay the heck away from it. Can't speak for everyone, but I find it way too exhausting and a complete waste of time arguing in circles.
4. Learn to be more chill and less hostile, going back to point #2.

1. Pick and choose our battles. There are times where a thread gets extended by like 10 pages because a person or persons decide it’s worth discussion with everyone who has a criticism.
2. We’re not the mods. There have been instances where I see discussion being handwaved away and people saying “the board doesn’t need this discussion” because they don’t like it, even if others have the right to share their opinions.
3. People are allowed their opinions. Sometimes people just want to blow off steam and drop a comment about a segment they didn’t like. They don’t always need to be met with 75 reasons why their opinion is wrong based on AEW canon or business metrics.
I think this happens on the WWE side, too, but to a lesser extent. Update here: I thought it was worth noting I’ve been guilty of some of this too.

From my perspective, it's more instant reaction in the Raw/SD thread than having post show reactions.

AEW is a weird case to me because there is either too much praise on one side or too much criticism on the other. The former leads to toxic threads where a poster going against the grain gets massively downvoted in some communities (looking at you, Reddit). The latter has people that would grasp for straws for any AEW criticism and usually troll the people working in AEW (looking at you, Twitter). There are also a minority of anti-WWE trolls who are AEW fans, but these people are either mental midgets or under the age of 16.
Aside from a few posters here, I am surprised that this forum has a more balanced opinion of AEW. I remember when MJF cut that nonsensical promo after being carried out the stretcher by Wardlow. The most hard-core of fans loved it without any questioning of it on Reddit and Twitter, while here in this forum there was an active discussion about whether it was good for business.
As far as how we can do better? I think this discussion does help bring further awareness of an obvious issue amongst the wrestling community.

I long wanted back-and-forth quotefests to quietly get hoovered off into a DM discussion and leave the rest of us to get back to dunking on Shane McMahon’s offense and CM Punk’s patchy HR record.

This board is at a good place compared to a year ago. The board was at its worst, when TK said those idiotic Big Swole comment and the antagonizing on both sides caused some people to leave. This is wrestling men and women rolling around in tights. Its not that serious in the grand scheme of things. Also if a back and forth happens one side has to pick to stop responding. Thats just my two cents.

I think the absolute worst of this forum for me, as someone who has been here one point of another since 2005, has to be the Hulk Hogan threads prior to his return to the WWE in 2018(?). Each time, a hot take, each time, a thread closed. Almost a war zone.

Can't much other to add other than reading a person's posts carefully for context. What might seem like a troll post could be aggravation over a product they know can and has been better.

I know I personally get the most triggered when people who are known to be extremely negative about WWE can’t take any criticism of AEW.
I think being self aware enough to realize that doesn’t matter is important for me.
I think looking in the mirror is important for them.
