Superman and Lois have been cast. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/superman-legacy-cast-david-corenswet-rachel-brosnahan-1235358907/No idea who either actor is, so will wait and see the final product. This quote from Gunn has me very cynical of what he'll create. What does that even mean? “I completely relate to Superman because he’s everything I am,” Gunn told The Hollywood Reporter in April for a cover story. “He’s somebody who is an outsider who feels like an alien, but also the ultimate insider, because he’s f***ing Superman. And that’s kind of like what I feel like.”

Rachel Brosnahan is a wonderful casting for Lois Lane. I think she'll kill the role.
Never seen anything David Corenswet was in or even heard of him. But then I've never heard of Cavill or Routh either and that didn't stop them from being pretty good in the role.

Brosnahan is perfect casting for Lois, she'll kill it
Don't know Corenswhet but he looks the part and I think Superman is a character that's served well by having a relative unknown in the role.

When the casting is right for an iconic character, it's hard to imagine a new persin nailing the role until that person does. I wish the best for David. And we need a another great a Superman movie.

He doesn’t look like either to me so I’m not mad at that. I’ve never heard of either of the two casted but Gunn has earned my trust, I’ll be looking forward to it.

I hope they cover this:
Lois could never have Superman's baby. Do you think her fallopian tubes could handle his sperm? I guarantee he blows a load like a shotgun right through her back. What about her womb? Do you think it's strong enough to carry his child? Sure, why not?
He's an alien for Christ sake! His Kryptonian biological makeup is enhanced by Earth's yellow sun. If Lois gets a tan the kid could kick right through her stomach. Only someone like Wonder Woman has a strong enough uterus to carry his kid. The only way he could bang regular chicks is with a Kryptonite condom, but that would kill him.

I mean, they could make the movie a screed about the inherent difficulties and dangers of inter-species mating and reproduction. Or, and hear me out here, they could actually make the movie enjoyable to watch.

Davvid Corenswet's grandpa invented, and wrote more than 50 of, "Choose Your Own Adventure". Small world, huh?

While I can’t speak to whether Superman can control the speed of his money shots…she shouldn’t have any trouble carrying the baby. His powers are the result of our yellow Sun…he’s not catching rays inside of the womb.
Given that Clark manages to walk and not have X-ray vision at all times…one assumes he has figured out how to control the former as well.

It's easy enough to say that a half-human, half-Kryptonian baby might not have any powers to begin with. Or they'll develop later. That's actually what the Superman and Lois TV show did: that show's Jonathan is powerless while Jordan is first starting to develop powers as a teenager.
I'm also pretty sure Clark knows how to control things so he doesn't accidentally rip Lois in half. Or they have a red sun lamp at home for such occasions.

I mean, I don't hug someone with the same level of force I'd lift something or punch someone in the face, I don't know why Superman would need to be any different.

In the Byrne Man of Steel reboot post Crisis he had Clarks powers develop slowly. He didnt gain most of them until his teens. Most media did it a similar way since. So logically a half human half Kryptonian would develop the same or even slower. Meaning no danger to Lois.

I assume as long as Clark found some way to subdue his powers while doing the horizontal shuffle than the kid would either have no powers or it would be a very long time before they start to even develop.
In Smallvile they went through practically every version of this lol...red sun , blue kryptonite , clark completely losing his powers , whoever he was smooshing had powers themselves etc.
