Some people, some people, are just f***ing with them. "Mad Mike" that dude who was into homemade backyard rockets, before he smashed into the Earth killing himself, knew damn well the Earth was round. He just said it was flat because no one was dumb enough to give him money otherwise. He event gave some BS excuse for why he calculated the curve of Earth into his rockets by saying something like, "It's just math" Now, he was still clearly insane, watch him on Tosh, but he knew where his bread was buttered. Think of it like this, they probably pay for Twitter too. my favorite flat Earth thing was the group that produced a documentary to prove mathematically the Earth was flat... and ended up proving the Earth was round... they of course stated they obviously miscalculated somewhere... It's just round. Just f***ing look. You don't even need to go to the ocean like a lot of people say. Just look into the distance!!!!!

I 100 percent agree most of the flat earth influencers are grifters. It just makes me sad on the state of scientific education or critical thinking that people buy into their bullshit. I've watched these clowns get destroyed so many times in debates or debunks but they just go right on spouting the same tired disproven talking points.

STILL RELEASED THE DOCUMENTARY... if anyone wants to watch the documentary (besides AJ Styles) www.newsweek.com/behind-curve-netflix-ending-light-experiment-mark-sargent-documentary-movie-1343362

The thing that gets about flat earthers is they act like it's a big conspiracy, that THEY don't want you to earth is flat, but they can never come up with a reason why this knowledge is suppressed. What difference does it make?

Apparently, Jeopardy! fans are mad and 'outraged' about something the show is allegedly doing wrong literally every day since Trebek died.

Including things that happened while Alex was hosting.... I never knew flipping Jeopardy! could be controversial. One of the dumber things was people angry that Mayim Bialik refers to it as "Single Jeopardy" instead of just the Jeopardy round. another was they recently had a WWE Category and people were complaining about it and how it would never happen in old Jeopardy... except like this is the 3rd time there was a category specifically about the WWE and like the fifth time wrestling in general.

With the most recent WWE category, the writers missed a golden opportunity for the $1000 clue: “In 1991, this game show host was a guest ring announcer for the main event of WrestleMania VII.”

Headlines are weird now, they'll be as vague as possible so they'll make you click on them, but they are also very obsessed with people's ages:
"48-year old actress accuses 50-year old actress of using her dog this reason"
"Hulk Hogan hates this 43-year old wrestling star"
"50-year old singer kicks 34-year old singer square in the balls"

What difference does it make? Yeah it's so funny because like, the whole world is stacked against the common individual citizien, it really is, but they're just COMPLETELY wrong about the ways in which it has been done. Why would they fake the moon landing? To hide whatever other shady shit they're doing? You know whatever other shady shit they're doing comes out in the news constantly?? Faking the moon landing doesn't make anyone any money. You know what does make you a shitload of money? Running a speaking event where you claim the moon landing was faked.

Even when I was a dumb kid who once dug a hole in the garden 4 feet deep because I wanted unlimited eggrolls for dinner: a lot of stuff like flat earthers and moon landing deniers boiled down to one simple thing. What is more likely... thousands(millions probably) of people from all walks of life all lying in conjunction just to hide you from reality... or somebody is a loon.
Which is kinda the opposite of Bigfoot. He's obviously blurry and can phase out in and out of our reality at will. Everybody knows that. That's why we give him free reign of Mars.

Like they said on QI, yes the government has a record of deceiving their people....but they've an even worse record of keeping things quiet. They couldnt even keep a blowjob in the oval office a secret. I mean, for the moon landing to be faked, there had to be a meeting where they were discussing how to beat the Russians to the moon. Whoever suggested faking the whole thing would probably be grabbed by the neck, kicked up the arse, thrown down the stairs and told not to come back.

Someone did a big study into this and found that to successfully fake the moon landing, 10,000 people would have to be in on it.

A lot of Tik Toks and Reels do something similar. They'll start a video with a caption for a list and a clip of someone who doesn't even appear on said "list".
