PAW Patrol was playing in the background at work. I figured it was one of the zillion generic kitty cartoons getting churned out. I looked it up and the damn thing has 229 episodes! Not only that it had a movie that grossed over $140 million!
I don’t understand this world anymore.

Modern video games in general I have problems understanding. I think it's a case of "I use to be it, then they changed what it was".

For awhile it was the prominence of battle royal games. I guess a lot of it is the fact I'm not great at FPS games in the first place, so I never really last long enough to enjoy the genre. Games that allow for more freedom and respawns have always been a better fit for me in the past and battle royals just don't make sense to me. That said, I do get the appeal to games like Fortnite because of it's colorful look and mass media crossover. I saw the amount of games that got battle royals and I just had to shrug my shoulders and think that that kind of game had passed me by.

Twitter Hot Takes: The Thread I’m unsure if I understand this reference. Can this be another one for me? The joke was i was making an observation that twitter is full of people saying they don't understand the world and usually giving pretty controversial reasons as to why that get them ratio'ed.

What happened with Legos? They used to be simple.
Oh come on, I know you know what I’m talking about. Legos were simple? Something happened out here while I was inside. Harry Potter Legos. Star Wars Legos. Complicated kids, tiny little blocks?
I mean, I’m not saying it’s bad, I just want to know what happened.

There was a mobile game that was on iOS that she constantly stole my iPad to play. LOL

I passed through the action figure aisle at Walmart and saw they had MOTU figures on the f'in peg like it's 1985. F'in MOTU figures that look just like the MOTU figures I collected as a kid, even in the same style packaging. I about pissed myself because there was Buzz-Off, *the same* Buzz-Off I have distinct memories flying around my yard when I was about 7 years old. I reached for it and then I noticed the price tag.... they want $20 for Buzz-Off? What parents are buying their kids a $20 action figure to lose all the accessories and destroy? I didn't buy it but I've had non-buyers remorse every day since.

My wife really wants to get the giant Hogwarts House... unfortunately (or fortunately when you look at the cost), we don't have anywhere to put it. I'd love to have my daughter make a bunch of the Marvel stuff, but we just don't have the room.

Of all the things to be a breaking point a bland kids cartoon about hero dogs having a bunch of episodes is it?!
