OK, I got one for y'all.
Mister Rogers' Neighborhood is very hard to find full episodes of on Youtube, thanks to PBS and the Fred Rogers' Company. Here's the thing. If Fred Rogers had been alive when YouTube was created, I feel like he would have embraced it as a platform for his show to live in perpetuity. Because when the VCR was first created, he was the biggest advocate for it, at a time when Hollywood wanted it to be illegal to own one. So that's mine lol

I passed through the action figure aisle at Walmart and saw they had MOTU figures on the f'in peg like it's 1985. F'in MOTU figures that look just like the MOTU figures I collected as a kid, even in the same style packaging. I about pissed myself because there was Buzz-Off, *the same* Buzz-Off I have distinct memories flying around my yard when I was about 7 years old. I reached for it and then I noticed the price tag.... they want $20 for Buzz-Off? What parents are buying their kids a $20 action figure to lose all the accessories and destroy? I didn't buy it but I've had non-buyers remorse every day since. I had Buzz off too. Remember Fisto? Now I’m imagining a movie where a kid goes into a coma in like 1983, wakes up, sees that, is calmed, then freaks out when they notice the words, “RETRO PLAY!” I’d say it was a missed opportunity for that silly Rebel Wilson movie where she wakes up from a coma. But I’m pretty sure even then she was supposed to be too young for this scenario to apply to. By like a lot.

A can of "100% Tuna" cat food is $1.25 in the local market. A can of not 100% tuna for people is $1.10.
Where did we go wrong?

There's also that other MoTU character... can't remember the name. It's 2 sisters. Twins or girls and they have this one cup. Name escapes me and my internet is down. Can someone check please?

Influencers as a general thing, I get
Some of them specifically, I do not
Like when their thing is just. Rolling their eyes for a second, or something. What?

Of all the things to be a breaking point a bland kids cartoon about hero dogs having a bunch of episodes is it?! It’s not a breaking point at all. But I mean when did this happen? Where was I? What day is it? Who took my false teeth? I mean, it’s been around for awhile but it’s for little little kids so if you weren’t hanging around toddlers in the last 7-8 years, it’s perfectly reasonable that you didn’t know about it.

People actually still read G/O Stick-Up-The-Butt articles from Root, Kotaku and Jezebel, and somehow they don’t start projectile vomiting through the sheer stupidity like the Exorcist.

There are all these new grades added to Gundam model kit lines and I have no idea what they actually mean.
High Grade, Master Grade, Real Grade, and Perfect Grade I get. Shit like RE/100 and Full Mechanics, I don't get. I think there's others, too.

They not selling them for kids. They’re selling them to me and you. $10...maybe. $20? eff off Mattel. $20 is cheap. One of the Ninja Turtles lines has the figures for around $40 each. The retro MOTU are for the adult collector. The CGI Netflix line is for kids. Origins has upgraded articulation but limited action features. The CGI line has limited articulation, leas accessories, and action features. Along with large size figures.

Action figure prices are pretty freakin' high lately. Especially the lines geared more towards adult collectors than kids. Like I was pretty shocked to see how much the average wrestling figures from both WWE and AEW go for these days.
Hell, Transformers toys have always been pretty expensive. Like a lot of my Beast Wars toys back in the day went for at least $10. Power Rangers toys could get really pricey, too.

I always just grab a couple for a buddy who loves anything WWE for Christmas or his birthday. I think I got him 3 this past Christmas, it was like $75 or more. Insane.

Like when their thing is just. Rolling their eyes for a second, or something. What? I just don't get the appeal of reaction videos in general, especially when I see some clip where the person reacting has obviously just recorded a bunch of different reactions in one continuous take, chopped them up and added them to viral clips and somehow have a million subscribers.
