I think I have officially found the name change that pisses me off the most: Instead of "The Koopa Troop", they have to be called to be "Bowser's Minions" every single time now. It often results in awkward dialogue like here where Bowser's suddenly speaking in the 3rd person for some reason.

Also the remake made me realize that there was a rider on "Mack" / "Claymorton" I always thought it was just the big sword.

I always saw the little dude as a pommel I knew there was a guy there but I was never clear which of them is actually supposed to be Mack since they both have faces. One that blew my mind is that Belome has arms. I thought those were like jowls. |

I do understand what they were going for on the box art, since it both matches the original Japanese one and the Mario & Luigi games.

Grate Guy's Casino, while still accessible, had one game changed.
Slot machine and look the other way are still the same, but blackjack was replaced with a card memory game of some sort.

Though this time around Frog Coins are a lot more abundant, especially if you participant in as many fights as possible given the special enemies. |

European market the same way gambling corners had to be altered for later Pokemon games. |

So I’ve come to the conclusion I remember nothing about this game beyond Mack the Knife, apparently that’s where I gave up on any replays since about 1998. This game is so much fun!

Decided to try for the Super Suit and I'm kind of convinced anyone who claims to have ever actually gotten it is a liar. I got to 99 once when I f***ed it up, but that was very much an anomaly, my eyes just do not have the endurance to make it all the way.
