I figured that the King Of The Ring PPV would be debuting early. I have it in September. One night 16 Man Tournamnet. However it's not on PPV and will be a Coliseum Home Video Exclusive.

News and Notes New ChampionsThere's new Tag Team Champions in the WWF as the Brain Busters, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, upset Demolition. However it wasn't without controversy as late in the match fellow Heenan Family member, Andre The Giant, came to ring. As Smash had Anderson covered, Andre slid a steel chair into the ring to Blanchard who clonked Smash on the top of head with it. Blanchard then rolled Anderson onto Smash for the pinfall and the championship. At Summerslam the new champions will defend their newly won titles against former champions the Hart Foundation who scored a victory over the Busters before their championship win. Snake On The MendJake Roberts is still out of action thanks to a neck injury suffered at the hands of Ted Dibiase last May. However the Snake is training for a return and may be back sooner then Dibiase thinks. The Widowmaker: Baddest Bull in the WWF"The Widowmaker" Barry Windham is a new arrival to the WWF. In his initial encounters the rugged Texan has looked to be the complete package in the ring. Possessing good size (6'6" and 270 pounds), strength, speed, and tremendous wrestling technique; Windham seems to be destined for great things. The newcomer also doesn't seem to lack confidence either as he's made it clear that he wants a match with WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan and doesn't care who he has to go through to accomplish that. News and Notes Unstoppable Force vs. Immovable ObjectAt the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event two of the most powerful forces in the WWF will collide when the Ultimate Warrior puts his newly won Intercontinental Championship on the line against the 7'4" and 520 pound eighth wonder of the world Andre The Giant. Since the Warrior came to the WWF Bobby "The Brain" Heenan has unsuccessfully thrown every Heenan member at him in hopes of stopping the face painted whirling dervish of destruction. However Heenan now believes he has the ultimate solution. Warrior and Andre's paths have crossed recently. In an attempt to soften up Warrior in ahead of his Intercontinental Championship challenge against then champion "Ravishing" Rick Rude, Heenan perpetrated an attack in which the Giant ambushed the Warrior in the aisle way and brought him down to his knees with a choke hold. Despite this Warrior has shown no fear of the Giant. While most tremble at the mere presence of Andre, Warrior recently issued the challenge to Andre face to face. It will truly be a clash when these two titans finally face off in the ring. Rude vs. RowdyAnother rivalry heating up is between Roddy Piper and Rick Rude. Once again Bobby Heenan was the instigator. Tired of being embarrassed by his Prime Time Wrestling co host, the Brain conspired an attack in which the Ravishing One jumped Piper on the set and ruthlessly beat him down. This would come back to haunt Rude though as a few weeks later Piper would interfere in his Intercontinental Championship title defense at Summerslam and cost him the title to the Ultimate Warrior. Rude has vowed to get even on Piper. Time will tell if he will be able to do in this battle of two of the federation's most controversial superstars. Americana JusticeSince coming to the WWF about a year ago, the Big Boss Man has quickly become one of the most feared wrestlers in the federation. Brutal and cruel the 357 pound former prison guard from Cobb County, Georgia has destroyed countless opponents. Making matters worse after defeating them he handcuffs the fallen opponent and pummels him with his nightstick. One man who has shown that he isn't going to allow this type of behavior continue is "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes. On a recent episode of WWF Superstars, after Boss Man had defeated another overmatched opponent with signature Boss Man Slam finisher; he was about to do his usual post match ritual. However before he could read the youngster his rights, Dusty would storm the rinse and knock the Boss Man out of it with a series of bionic elbows. Then to Boss Man's anger, Rhodes stole his nightstick and handcuffs. While Rhodes has shown no fear in standing up to the bully, it remains to be seen if he will be able to get the better the Boss Man in a match. Dealing with Boss Man is bad enough but then you factor in the presence of his shady manager Slick as well possibly his frequent partner in crime, the giant "African Dream" Akeem; they might be odds too much for even Dusty to overcome. Garvin Reinstated"Rugged" Ronne Garvin has been reinstated as an in ring competitor by President Jack Tunney. Shockingly this came at the insistence of Garvin's rival and the man who retired him, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Tired of Garvin being a pain in his neck and costing him matches as a referee and then a ring announcer after Garvin was banned from officiating as well, the Hammer has decided he would rather Garvin be back in the ring where he will have the opportunity to rid the Rugged one once for and all. Evenly matched, the two competitors are pretty much mirror images of each other in that they are both hard hitting no nonsense wrestlers with an ask no quarter and give no quarter mentality. So far the score is tied one to one in one on one competition between the two. Who will win the rubber match when these hard nosed heavy hitters collide one more time? News and NotesRoyal Pain: Macho King and Sensational QueenThe power couple of the WWF in "Macho Man" Randy Savage and "Sensational" Sherri are now King and Queen after Savage's recent defeat of Jim Duggan. While already obnoxious before the pair has now become even more unbearable. At the upcoming Survivor Series Duggan will have a chance at revenge when he leads his foursome of Bret Hart, Ronnie Garvin, and Hercules against the King and his rogues' gallery of Dino Bravo, Greg Valentine, and the Widowmaker. Demolition Three PeatAt the recent Saturday Night's Main Event Demolition made history by tying the record for most Tag Team Title wins by regaining the title for a third time after decisively defeating the Brain Busters. After disposing of Arn Anderson, the rough and tumble duo teamed up to hit their Decapatation Elbow Drop finisher on Tully Blanchard to secure the victory. Meanwhile there seems to be dissension in the Heenan Family as after his team's defeat Heenan was visibly angry with his charges and apparently there was then also arguing and shoving in the locker room afterwards. Whatever problems that exist in the Heenan camp will have to be smoothed over quickly as at the upcoming Survivor Series the Busters will join forces with fellow Heenan Family members, Andre The Giant and Haku; to take on the team of the Ultimate Warrior, Jim Neidhart, and the Rockers. The Ultimate Trap: The Strongman's Sinister SchemeRecently "Canadian Strongman" Dino Bravo challenged WWF Intercontinental Champion the Ultiamte Warrior to a test of strength to prove who was the stronger of the two. Warrior accepted the challenge with the two set to have their competition on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. The test of strength involved the largest man in the crowd being picked out by Bravo's manager, Jimmy Hart, with Warrior and Bravo each having to do push ups with him on their backs. It seemed like Bravo had bit off more then he could chew when Hart picked out a man named John, a huge 460 pound local from Wheeling, West Virgina. When asked by Mean Gene Okerlund the giant of a man politely stated his name, weight, and home town. Impressively Bravo was able to complete five push ups with John on his back. However when Warrior attempted to do his push ups the ruse became clear as John then proceeded to jump down on the Warrior's back, driving him down to the canvas, before him and Bravo then started double teaming the champion with John hitting a series of splashes. "John" wasn't just some fan but in actuality another wrestler being used as part of a ploy orchestrated by Bravo to set up the Warrior. It was later revealed the giant is in fact is a long time friend of Bravo's that he met while wrestling in his home country of Canada and that going forward he will be known as the Canadian Earthquake. According to Bravo the Earthquake will be his "insurance policy" to help pave the way for him to capture the Intercontinental Championship. However given the Warrior's incredible win-loss record that will be easier said then done. Brains and Brawn: The PERFECT CombinationSince joining the World Wrestling Federation about a year ago, Mr. Perect has claimed to be.....well perfect. No flaws, no blemishes, no mistakes. And so far much to the chagrin of most the arrogant second generation star has backed up his claims as he's compiled a perfect record. Many top notch wrestlers have tried to be the first to put a blemish on Perfect's spotless record. From Koko B. Ware to Terry Taylor to Bret Hart. However they all have fallen to the flawless one. Currently ranked at #2 in the WWF Top 10, Perfect is definitely dangerous threat to Hulk Hogan's WWF World Championship. And now he might be an even more serious threat with the recent union he's formed with his new advisor, the Genius. However one must wonder why does a man who claims to be perfect need an advisor? Many are wondering that now that Perfect is finally close to getting a title shot that his claims of perfection are just false bravado and he really doesn't know if he can beat Hogan on his own? Either way the Genius' intellect and Perfect's tremendous athletic talents could provide for a combination too much even for the Hulkster to overcome. News and NotesShocking UpsetIn what has to be considered the biggest upset in WWF History World Champion Hulk Hogan was recently defeated on national television by of all people the Genius. However in the record books it won't state the underhanded means by the result. Challenged by Genius the week before, Hogan accepted the challenge for a non title match the following week on WWF Superstars of Wrestling. Hogan dominated as he beat the self proclaimed world's smartest man from pillar to post. Victory seemed imminent. However then the Genius' associate Mr. Perfect arrived on the scene. After slamming Genius over the top rope and to the floor, Hogan went out and threw him back into the ring so he could score a pinfall. This is when Perfect struck as while the referee was distracted by Genius he smashed Hogan in the head with his championship belt. The referee then counted out the downed champion out and rewarded the match to the Genius. Then to add insult to injury Perfect took the WWF Championship belt and while being interviewed by Mean Gene Okerlund proceeded to smash the WWF Championship belt with a hammer while stating that he would destroy any belt Hogan has made until he's gets a title shot. Perfect has definitely succeeded in getting champion's attention. However at the same time has succeeded in bringing out a new found agression in the champion that he might not be able to handle when the two finally meet in the ring. Snake ReturnsAfter several months on the sidelines with a neck injury Jake "The Snake" Roberts has returned to action. Not surprisingly upon his return the Snake has targeted the man responsible for putting him out action, "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase. While Dibiase tried to get the advantage on Roberts with physicality, the Snake on the other it seems like is going with psychological warfare to torment his rival. After fending off an attempted ambush from Dibiase and his bodyguard Virgil, Roberts was able get possession of the Million Dollar Man's most valuable possesion in his Million Dollar Belt. On top of that he's put the belt in the sack that contains his pet python Damien. Neither Dibiase or Virgil have managed to get up the courage to stick their hand in the bag and retrieve it. Jake has contined to add salt to the wound by taunting Dibiase during his matches over the PA sound system. Always a master of humiliating his opponents it looks like the shoe is now on the other foot for Dibiase who doesn't know how to cope with it. Always using his immense wealth to be the answer to all of his problems, it looks for once to claim what he wants Dibiase will have to do it the old fashinoned way. Earn it. Rick "The Model" Martel: On the runway to success?Probaby the superstar who has gone through the biggest changes this year is Rick Martel. Once a long time popular fan favorite, Martel has started to show his true colors. Martel used to wrestle a clean and scientitic style and appeared to be humble and down to earth outside the ring. However in the last year he's become ruthless rulebreaker who now wears his true arrogant and conceited personality on his sleeve. The real Martel was revealed at Wrestlemania V when he abandoned Strike Force partner and long time friend Tito Santana and left him to take a two against one drubbing from the Brain Busters just because Tito accidentally hit him. Martel has now taken it one step further in letting it be known who he really is. Always proudful of his good looks he now has become a model and wants to be referred to as Rick "The Model" Martel. Martel has recently started a rivalry with Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake who he has deemed fashionably inept. Recently on WWF Superstars of Wrestling after Beefcake had finished securing yet another victory, the Model decided to come out and taunt him from the intevriew podium by showing off his clothes and verbally insulting by calling him a disgrace to both fashion and wrestling. Martel however would quickly retreat when Brutus rushed the podium with his hedge clippers. Unfortunately for Martel he left behind his hat and jacket. Brutus stomped on the hat and then cut the jacket to pieces with his clippers while all Martel could do was shout idle threats while being held back by officials. It seems like the Model and the Barber on a collision course. Will Martel be able to back up all of his arrogance or will he get a makeover courtesy of a haircut from the Barber?
