News and NotesThen There Were ThreeDemolition has become even powerful then before with their recent addition of a new member. At the last Saturday Night's Main Event the reigning WWF Tag Team Champions defended their championship against the Hart Foundation. Eventually things got so out of hand between the two teams that the referee had to throw the match out ruling the contest a double disqualification. In the fallout of the championship encounter Ax claimed he suffered an arm injury during the contest and wouldn't be able to wrestle. As a result WWF President Jack Tunney decided that he would allow Demolition to keep the championships if they picked a replacement partner for Ax to team with Smash. After this ruling Demolition added a third member in Crush who has began teaming with Smash with Ax serving now basically as the teams manager. Younger and even bigger then both Ax and Smash, Crush adds a different element to Demolition. Standing 6'7" and weighing over three hundred pounds, Crush adds even more power to the team as so far he's displayed incredible strength in the squared circle with awesome feats such as military pressing an opponent from outside the ring and throwing them back inside over the top rope. He also possesses tremendous agility often leaping off the top rope with ease to deliver a double axe handle or a knee drop. Crush also seems to utilize more wrestling maneuvers then his more experienced partners. While Ax and Smash have always wrestled a straight forward brawling style relying heavily on strikes, Crush mixes in suplexes and backbreakers while also still using the signature Demolition rough house tactics. The Hart Foundation meanwhile are questioning the severity of Ax's injury. They think the champions are running scared and it's all a ruse to give them an unfair three on two advantage as even though he's not in the ring Ax is still allowed to come down to ringside with Smash and Crush. It seems like a lot of the fans are feeling the same way. Originally a rivalry between two equally popular teams, since Crush arrived on the scene they've started to side more with the Harts. Some of that might be because the Harts are more the underdogs now but on top of that Demolition have also recently started showing displeasure to the fans saying that they don't care about them and never needed them. While the Harts now have the full backing of the fans in this feud they are going to need all the support they can get. Demolition has controlled the tag team scene for the last several years but with their recent addition they may now be unstoppable! Bullying the BullyIf you asked any one in the World Wrestling Federation what word would best describes Bad News Brown the most the two common answers would be tough and loner. The rugged street brawler from Harlem, New York hates everybody and everything and has made it abundentley clear on multiple occasions that he doesn't need nor wants any friends. Brown has also earned himself a feared reputation as one of the toughest and meanest wrestlers in the World Wrestling Federation while also seemingly being afraid of absolutely nothing. However recently it became apparent that Brown is scared of at least one thing. On the April 22nd episode of Wrestling Challenge Brown had a podium interview with Mean Gene Okerlund regarding his upcoming Intercontinental Championship tournament match against Jake "The Snake" Roberts set to take place the following night on Prime Time Wrestling. Brown as usual was highly confident while boasting how he would easily beat Roberts before going onto to win the championship. However Brown's demeanor quickly changed when Okerlund presented with him an anonymous birthday present. The reclusive superstar was both shocked that someone knew that it was his birthday and that any one would actually get him a present. At first Brown wanted nothing to do with the gift but eventually relented and decided to open it. When he opened the gift backed away in fear while looking visibly shaken. Okerlund then pulled out a tiny rubber snake which had obviously been sent by Roberts as part of a psychological ploy going into his big upcoming match with Bad News. An irate Brown then grabbed Okerlund by his suit collar and screamed at him before storming off During the match a furious Brown was the aggressor as he relentlessly pummeled Roberts. At the same time though Brown seemed unfocused as at various points he would look over to the corner where Roberts pet python, Damien, was laying in the ominous green bag. Likely due to this lack of concentration Brown made a rookie mistake as he set his head too early for a backdrop and the Snake leveled him with knee lift. Brown, stunned by the blow, fell back into the corner where Damien was. Startled Brown quickly scurried away from the corner but was so shaken that he didn't even notice Roberts come up from behind and roll him up for a three count. Angry and embarrassed Brown would get a measure of revenge on Roberts on the following weeks Prime Time Wrestling when the Snake took on Mr. Perfect in the quarter final round of the tournament. After leveling Perfect with a short arm clothesline it looked like the Snake was going to advance another round in the tournament as he prepared to deliver his feared DDT finishing manuever. Brown then ran to ringside and jumped on the apron. Roberts decked him but the distraction allowed Perfect to roll him up for the pinfall to move on. Not just happy with costing Roberts the match, Brown then attacked the Snake from behind and pummeled him down before throwing him out of the ring. With Damien still in the bag he then pulled him to the center of the ring and tried to smash the reptile with a steel chair. Fortunately Roberts was able to stop him and knock the chair out of his hand. Roberts then unleashed Damien from the bag with Brown then hastily fleeing through the audience. While Brown has compiled one of best win-loss records in the WWF over the last few years, it's obvious that Roberts has discovered a chink in his armor that he will surely continue to take advantage when the two men go head to head once again at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event: Wrestlefest PPV. Sione The Barbarian: Hunting The WarriorAt the last WWF PPV extravaganza Saturday Night's Main Event: The Tussle In Texas, the Ultimate Warrior retained his WWF World Championship in a hard fought battle with "Ravishing" Rick Rude. However there's no rest for the weary as now he's being hunted another member of the Heenan Family who is perhaps even more dangerous and more of a threat to his title then Rude was. While always dangerous the Barbarian has become even more lethal since coming under the tutelage of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Since acquiring the three hundred pound brute from Mr. Fuji earlier this year, the Brain has brought out the barbaric nature of his new charge even more. Barbarian now wears fur attire and antlers to the ring and carries a skull with him. On top of that Heenan now wants him to be referred to as Sione the Barbarian. Heenan claims that his new Barbarian is unbeatable and so far that has seemed to be the case. Since entering the singles ranks Sione has been undefeated and has defeated top stars such as Tito Santana, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan. Although Rude received championship opportunities against Warrior first, many believe that the Barbarian is actually the guy in Heenan's camp who the Brain has the highest hopes when it comes to being the one who finally brings a World Championship to his family. This became apparent after the recent Saturday Night's Main Event PPV when on an episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling, Rude after scoring a quick victory grabbed the microphone and said that his recent loss to Warrior was a fluke and challenged the champion to come out and fight him. Warrior answered the challenged, running to the ring like he always does, before leveling Rude with a series of clothesline. Little did he know he was falling right into the Heenan Family's trap. As Warrior hoisted Rude over his head to give him his gorilla press slam, Sione appeared out of nowhere and dropped the Warrior with a big boot to the face. Dazed from the massive blow; Warrior was then helpless as he was triple teamed by Sione, Rude, and Heenan. As Rude and Heenan held Warrior down by his arms and legs, the Barbarian came off the top rope with two devastating flying headbutts from the top rope to the champions rib cage. Eventually Jim Duggan came to the rescue as he chased off the Heenan Family with his 2x4. However the damage had been done and the Barbarian had made emphatically made his point. Barbarian matches up well with Warrior. Like Warrior he stands about 6'3" with a very muscular and massive build. Both are very powerful and fast, and wrestle with incredible rage. Similar to Warrior he's also mysterious as both are announced as being from parts unknown. One thing that is known is that it will quite the war when the Warrior defends his championship against Sione at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event Wrestlefest PPV. Will the Barbarian rise to the occasion in the biggest match of his career? Or will the Warrior prove that Sione isn't as unbeatable as his scheming manager claims? Cold WarAs the Berlin Wall has come crumbling down so have the Bolsheviks. After reforming as a tag team at the beginning of the year, the duo from the Soviet Union was struggling to gain any traction in the competitive WWF tag team division. At Wrestlemania VI they suffered an embarrassing loss to the Hart Foundation in which they were defeated in just 18 seconds. In a rematch they were again easily defeated by the Harts. Losses to the Bushwhackers and the Rockers followed. As the losses continued to mount, tension began to arise between the two longtime partners as they started arguing during matches and after their defeats. After the loss to the Rockers things finally boiled over. After Zhukov was pinned following a double flying fistdrop, Volkoff tried to help his partner up. However Zhukov wanted none of it and shoved Nikolai away. Both men exchanged words and then soon were exchanging fists before brawling all the way back to the locker. Just like that one of the longest running tag teams in the WWF was no more. A match between the two former partners was signed for two weeks later on WWF Superstars. Zhukov entered first and sang the Russian National Anthem as the Bolsheviks always used to do prior to their matches. Volkoff entered next and to the shock of every one began singing the Star Spangled Banner. An irate Zhukov attacked Volkoff from behind before the bell with his boot leading to the match being thrown out. Afterwards it became known that Volkoff is actually a liberated Lithuanian. Nikolai has become pro west and has declared his love for the USA. Volkoff has also gained a new ally. The first man to welcome Nikolai to the good ol' US of A was none other then the proud patriot "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan who on a recent episode of the Brother Love Show presented Volkoff with the American Flag. With his new allegiance to the United States, Nikolai will surely have the crowd on his side when he once again faces Zhukov at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV. News and NotesBrutus SidelinedIn some sad news Brutus Beefcake was recently injured in a parasailing accident. As a result Brutus will not be at Summerslam to challenge Mr. Perfect for the Intercontinental Championship as scheduled. However Perfect will still defend his title at Summerslam against a replacement opponent yet to be named. Phantom of The Squared CircleLike his former partner the Barbarian, the Warlord has also adapted a new look since entering the singles ranks. However unlike Barbarian who now looks like he came from prehistoric times, the Warlord has gone the opposite direction as he's went with a more futuristic looking get up. Warlord's manager "The Doctor of Style" Slick's influence has become apparent as he now looks like something from the movie The Terminator as he now wears a silver Phantom of the Opera type mask and carries a wand with a big W on it. Similar to the Terminator in the ring the Warlord is remorseless and at times appears indestructible. Along with his appearance, Slick has also made some alterations to the Warlord's repertoire in the ring. Warlord has now began using the full nelson as his primary finishing move. With his height and incredible strength, Warlord has turned this rudimentary hold into one of the most feared maneuvers in the WWF. Since Warlord has started using the full nelson nobody has been able to escape it. Warlord to showcase how powerful his new move is has been having full nelson challenges in the ring with Slick putting up $10,000 to any one who can break the hold. So far any one who has got up the nerve to take Warlord up on the challenge has been ragdolled into submission. Recently Warlord faced his biggest competition when "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka answered the challenge. The heavily muscled and powerful Snuka definitely posed a threat as someone who could potentially break the hold and take home $10,000. Perhaps realizing this Slick taunted Snuka before he could even have Warlord apply the hold. When Snuka went after the jive talking manager, Warlord jumped him from behind and applied the full nelson with the Superfly being left laying. At Summerslam Snuka will have a chance for revenge and also an opportunity to perhaps also collect $10,000 when he takes on Warlord. Power and GloryThe saying misery loves company best sums up the new tag team comprised of the mighty Hercules and Paul Roma. Frustrated by lack of success and jealous of the superior popularity of other fan favorites in the WWF such as the Rockers, these two bitter underachieving veterans have decided to put their talents together to form a tag team. Shortly after joining forces Hercules and Roma decided to challenge the Rockers to a match. While at first it appeared to be scientific match between two fan favorite teams, Hercules and Roma started wrestling more aggressively and bending the rules. Eventually the tag team experience of the Rockers proved to be the difference as they would end up securing the win. Although not without controversy. After Marty Jannetty decked Paul Roma with a reverse cresent kick and went for the cover, Roma placed his foot on the rope which should stop a count. However the referee missed this and instead counted Roma out. While it appeared to be an honest mistake on the part of the official it just further fueled Hercules and Roma's bitterness as they were furious afterwards while claiming it was another case of the WWF favoring the "golden boy" Rockers. Seeing the attitude change opportunistic manager Slick has signed up Hercules and Roma and has named their team Power and Glory. Hercules obviously being the Power for his tremendous strength and the vain and self absorbed Roma being the Glory. Since joining Slick, Power and Glory have been undefeated and have shown tremendous promise as tag team. They've also began using an awesome tag team finisher called the Power Plex. After Hercules uses his power to punish the opposition with a superplex off the top turnbuckle, Roma leaps off the adjacent top turnbuckle with a devastating splash and then reaps the glory by arrogantly pinning the opponent with one boot on his chest. While both Hercules and Roma never fulfilled their promise as singles competitors, it appears that perhaps the team of Power and Glory might be a case of the whole being greater then the sum of it's parts. At Summerslam they will have a chance to prove it when they once again face the team they resent, the Rockers. DeparturesTerry Taylor has left the WWF. News and NotesMonsters of The MidwayAll WWF tag teams could be doomed with the arrival of the Legion of Doom. Hawk and Animal might be the most powerful tag team force to ever enter the WWF. Over the last decade they've run roughshod over all the other promotions across the country and now they're looking to do the same in the major leagues of professional wrestling, the WWF. Both strong and explosive the powerful duo from Chicago are two human wrecking balls of terror in the squared circle as they like to manhandle opponents with powerslams and press slams and pulverize them with clotheslines and flying shoulder tackles off the ropes. They then finish them off with the Doomsday Device, an absolute brutal maneuver in which the victim is hoisted up on Animal's shoulders in a seated position and then felled by a top rope clothesline from Hawk, sending him spiraling out of control to the canvas. Their style is reminiscent of another powerful facepainted team. That being the WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition. This also happens to be the team the Legion wants to face the most. Since coming to the WWF the Legion have made it super clear what team they want to step in the ring most as they've called out Demolition multiple occasions. Due to both teams similar styles and looks this has been a match fans have speculated about for years. However Demolition on the other hand seems to be in no hurry to face the Legion as they've blown off their challenges and have dismissed them as a couple of "second rate imposters". While Demolition has been in the WWF much longer this statement is not true as Hawk and Animal were teaming up in other leagues before Demolition was. At Summerslam Demolition is set to defend their titles against the Hart Foundation but if they get past the Hitman and the Anvil it's likely only going to be a matter of time before they will have to defend their belts against the Legion of Doom. Whether they want to or not. Storm BrewingJust like a whirlwind the "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich has swept into the World Wrestling Federation. While new to the WWF, Von Erich is no stranger to the squared circle as he grew up in a wrestling family with a father and brothers who all wrestled and has achieved championship success across the country especially in his home state of Texas. In the two months he's been in the federation Tornado has blown through all his opposition so far including tough ring veterans such as "Playboy" Buddy Rose and Haku. Possessing tremendous athletic ability and being the owner of one of the best physiques in all of wrestling many feel Von Erich has all the tools to be a champion in the WWF. And it looks like that could possibly soon already be the case. Mr. Perfect was scheduled to defend his WWF Intercontinental Championship at Summerslam against Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake. However with the Barber now shelved indefinitely, Perfect was left without a opponent. Von Erich quickly stepped to the plate and publicly challenged Perfect in the ring on WWF Superstars to a title match at Summerslam. Jesse "The Body" Ventura on commentary scoffed at someone who has been the WWF such a short time asking for a title shot. Perfect's manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan felt the same way, telling Von Erich he didn't deserve a shot. However against his manager's wishes Perfect grabbed the microphone and accepted the challenge. Many feel Perfect is making a big mistake taking a title match on such short notice. It seems like Perfect's arrogance might have got the best of him and that he's taking Von Erich too lightly. While a newcomer Von Erich is far from a rookie and also possesses tremendous credentials and while winning a championship in the WWF after only two months is basically unheard of, with his ability and perhaps the overconfidence of his opponent this might be a storm that Mr. Perfect won't be able to ride out. Atten-Hut!A lot has changed both in the wrestling world and the world in general since Sgt. Slaughter was last seen in the WWF six years ago. However upon his return to the WWF it's become obvious that Slaughter doesn't want to move on with the rest of the world. The once beloved American Hero has criticized America for becoming soft and weak. Slaugther is incensed that they've accepted a "pinko commie" like Nikolai Volkoff into their hearts despite him not even being an American-born citizen. Not parting with the philosophies of the Cold War, the Sarge believes that Nikolai's embracing of American customs is everything that Old Glory has been against for so many years. Slaughter has declared war on Volkoff and has vowed to eliminate him from the WWF. However that could be easier then said then done. Volkoff having recently dispatched former tag team partner, Boris Zhukov, has been riding a great deal of popularity and momentum since being accepted by the USA. The 310 pound Lithuanian matches up well with the big drill Sergeant in the size department and with the support of the fans on his side he could very well dismiss Slaughter from the WWF just as quickly as he returned.

News and NotesHulkamania Lives! After many thought his career was over after a brutal attack from Earthquake last April, Hulk Hogan made his triumphant return at Summerslam. After the Ultimate Warrior had defeated Earthquake by count out to retain his WWF World Championship he suffered a two on one attack by Quake and Dino Bravo. However before Quake could deliver the vertical splash, Hogan came running to the ring. The Hulkster quickly knocked Bravo out of the ring with a big boot. Hogan then turned his attention to Earthquake as he nailed him with a big boot as well. However the blow didn't knock big 400 plus pounder down so Hogan then gave him an incredible body slam with the walking natural disaster then fleeing the ring. On the September 8th Superstars of Wrestling Hogan had an in ring interview with Vince McMahon in which he thanked the fans for all the letters of support when he was out and also Tugboat for leading the Get Well Hulk Campaign which led to him unfortunately being targeted by Quake and Bravo and eventually like Hogan also injured as a result. Quake, Bravo, and Jimmy Hart then came out with all three men then surrounding the ring. It looked like it was going to be a repeat of the Brother Love Show four months before when Hogan was injured. Fortunately then Tugboat made his return and rushed into the ring. Not wanting any part of both Hogan and Tugobat; Quake and company then decided to live and fight another day and retreated. It seems like a tag team collision is only inevitable. Will the Earthquake and his strongman sidekick be able to finish the job of putting both Hogan and his protoge out of wrestling forever? Or will Hulkamania continue to be the most powerful force in the universe by rumbling through Jimmy Hart's dangerous duo? Two Harts Beating As OneAgainst all odds the Hart Foundation were able to win the WWF Tag Team Championship from Demolition. Not only did the Hitman and the Anvil have to overcome the two official Demolition members in the match, Smash and Crush, but also an interfering Ax as well. Despite it being ruled by WWF President Jack Tunney that only two members of Demolition were allowed at ringside, the elder statesman of Demolition ran out late in the contest and then proceeded to hide underneath the ring. At various points Smash and Crush would dump Bret Hart to the outside where Ax would then come out while the referee was distracted and help one of his teammates in battering the worn down Hitman. Fortunately the Legion of Doom were watching and came out to even the odds. Animal pulled Ax out from under the ring and Hawk knocked Crush off the top rope to prevent Hart from being hit by the Demolition Decapitation. Ax and Smash then pursued the LOD up the aisle way. In the confusion Neidhart slingshotted himself over the top rope and into the ring to nail a dazed Crush with a flying shoulder tackle. Knocked off balance by the blow the towering Demolition member was then school boy tripped by Hart who rolled him up for a three count. Needless to say Demolition was furious afterwards and are now looking to get revenge on the LOD for costing them their championship. While it seemed like the LOD didn't have Demolition's attention before they definitely do now. As for the Harts they have vowed to be fighting champions and take on all comers. Perhaps the greatest threat to their newly won championship could be the team of Rhythm and Blues comprised of the Honky Tonk Man and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Honky and Hammer have been undefeated since becoming a team and also have Jimmy Hart as their manager. This could be a big advantage for them as Jimmy used to be the manager of the Hart Foundation and knows their tendencies and any weaknesses they may have better then anybody. Will Rhythm and Blues hit solid gold by winning the championship? Or will the Harts title reign continue to beat on? Texas Tornado Sweeps Up Intercontinental ChampionshipThe Texas Tornado touched down at Summerslam and in a shocking upset defeated Mr. Perfect in relatively short order to capture the Intercontinental Championship. It appears taking the match on such short notice was a big mistake on Perfect's part as he seemed unprepared and caught off guard by the skills of the Tornado. After being slingshotted into the ring post and caught in a claw hold, Tornado leveled the champion with a spinning discuss punch, knocking the flawless one for a loop. Tornado then covered Perfect and scored a three count to win the championship after just two months in the WWF. Afterwards an irate Perfect claimed Tornado's victory was a fluke and that he will get his championship back no matter what it takes. Perfect claimed he was the perfect Intercontinental Champion when he had the belt but now it looks like he will have to be the perfect challenger if he wants to get it back. I like how that list of participants bottomed out in quality in the end. So you're not picking Saba Simba and Battle Kat vs. Bad News Brown and The Brooklyn Brawler for the final of your bracket?

News and NotesFamily FeudLast summer when the Big Boss Man was embroiled in a feud with Ted Dibiase, the Million Dollar Man took a trip down to the Boss Man's home in Cobb County, Georgia. While there Dibiase paid off the townspeople including one of his high school teachers and his football coach to talk bad about his rival and "expose" him. However it was later revealed thanks to WWF correspondent Mean Gene Okerlund that none of these things being said were true. Okerlund interviewed several people in Cobb County and they all had nothing but praise and good things to say about the Boss Man. One of these people was none other then his mother. However Okerlund's good deed to prevent Boss Man's name from being tarnished may have inadvertently exposed a weakness as Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Ravishing" Rick Rude have recently decided to target the Boss Man and are doing so by hitting him where it hurts most. Shortly before Summerslam Heenan, who while a manager also holds a commentator position for the WWF co hosting Wrestling Challenge and Prime Time Wrestling, out of the blue started insulting the Boss Man's mother and making cruel jokes about her. Despite warnings from the Boss Man the Brain refused to relent as the insults continued and became even meaner. Finally the Cobb County corrections officer could take no more. Before his scheduled match on a recent episode of Wrestling Challenge, the Boss Man dragged a pleading Heenan from his commentary position before handcuffing him to the guardrail, leaving the brash manager humbled and humiliated. Fortunately for Heenan officials prevented Boss Man from further attacking him but not before the Georgia lawman threw the keys to the cuffs into the audience. Heenan had to spend the rest of telecast handcuffed to the rail while pleading with various wrestlers to help him get loose. Eventually an irate Rude came to ringside to come to the defense of his manager. Vince McMahon went down to ringside as well to get word with the livid Ravishing One who then revealed that he was actually the big mouth behind the "Weasel", encouraging the Brain to make the remarks about Boss Man's mother. Many questioned why Rude and Heenan would want to raise the ire of someone as big and as dangerous as the Boss Man. However there could be a method to their madness. Ever since Rude failed to win the World Championship from the Ultimate Warrior last May, the Brain has been plotting ways to get his premier charge back into title contention. Provoking a highly ranked star like Boss Man into a rivalry and subsequently defeating him could very well do the trick. While Rude and Heenan have attacked Boss Man verbally, "Ravishing" Rick recently waged a physical assault on his rival as well. On the October 8th episode of Prime Time Wrestling the Boss Man took on Heenan Family stalwart Haku. Despite being distracted and taunted by the Brain at ringside, the Boss Man would make quick work of the man from Tonga by pinning him with his Boss Man Slam fininshing move at around the five minute mark. However winning wasn't enough for Boss Man as after the match he went after Heenan to get further revenge for all the insults that had hurt his mother so deeply. Boss Man would corner the Brain but before he could do anything he was ambushed by Rude. Rude would level Boss Man with not one but two Rude Awakening neckbreakers. Then to add insult to injury Rude repeatedly slapped the downed Boss Man in the face. This rivalry that started over schoolyard insults has escalated into one of the most heated feuds in the WWF. So heated in fact that Boss Man challenged Rude to a match at the next Saturday Night's Main Event in which the loser will have to leave the WWF. Surprisingly Rude accepted to make the match official. One will stay and one will have to go. Has Boss Man made a mistake asking for a match with such harsh consequences? Or will Rude be forced to serve the hardest time of all by being permanently expelled from the WWF? The Rockers: Out to Rock The Power and GloryAt Summer Slam the team of Power and Glory made quite the impact as they handed the Rockers perhaps the worst loss of their career. Going into the match Shawn Michaels was favoring a knee injury. Hercules would target this injury immediately as he ambushed Michaels before the bell and whipped his steel chain across Shawn's knee, leaving the Rocker writhing in agony on the floor outside the ring. With his partner out of commission Marty Jannetty was forced to go it alone and take on both Hercules and Paul Roma in a glorified handicap match. Jannetty fought valiantly but eventually the two on one disadvantage would be too much as Power and Glory would put him away with the Power Plex with Roma then arrogantly pinning him with just one boot on his chest. After the match Hercules and Roma would continue to attack Michaels who then had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher. Jannetty would wrestle in singles matches over the next month as his partner healed. Fortunately Michaels knee injury wasn't as serious as initially feared as after just a little over a month on the shelf he's already returned to action to help Jannetty get even against the team that tried to end his career. Some questioned if he's perhaps returned to soon but so far he's shown no effects of the injury and in fact as looked better then ever in the ring so far. While Power and Glory may have rocked the Rockers at Summerslam it looks like they may have started a fire with their determined young foes that they may not be able to put out. Tribal WarfareSeveral newcomers have entered the WWF over the last few months. One of the most impressive is Saba Simba. Longtime followers of the WWF may recognize Simba as Tony Atlas who was one of the top stars in the federation in the early to mid 80's. Since his last stint Atlas returned to his roots in Uganda and now wants to be referred to as Saba Simba. Atlas found out that his family totem was seven lions thus his new name. One man who isn't impressed with Simba is "The African Dream" Akeem who has claimed that Simba is nothing but an imposter and that he is the one true African in the WWF. Two years ago Akeem, formerlly known as the One Man Gang, at the behest of his manager Slick had a ceremony where he was transformed into the African Dream. Due to really obvious reasons very few have taken Akeem's claims of being African very serious. Nontheless he still has a bone to pick with Simba and wants to face him in the ring. At the next Saturday Night's PPV he will get his wish when the two go one on one.
