News and NotesA Matter of MuscleAt Wrestlemania VII two of the strongest man in the WWF will collide when the "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith takes on the Warlord. Over the last month the two men have taken apart in several feats of strength competitions to determine who the stronger of the two is. On the February 17th Wrestling Challenge the Bulldog took on the Warlord's full nelson challenge. It instead ended up being a set up though as after Warlord's manager Slick provided a distraction he then ambushed the Bulldog. Warlord then applied the full nelson with the Bulldog in his weakened state not being able to break it. After throwing the Bulldog down to the mat Warlord would continue the assault which ended up proving to be a mistake as the Bulldog then mounted a comeback and clotheslined his massive rival over the top rope. Bulldog then pressed Slick over his head and threw him over the top rope and out of the ring onto the Warlord down below. On the March 4th Prime Time Wrestling they would then compete in a bench press competition. Each men matched each other on lifts until the Bulldog incredibly lifted 500 pounds for 20 reps. Obviously not being sure if he could accomplish such a feat, Warlord claimed he suffered an arm injury when attempting to match Bulldog's lift. Warlord would get a measure of revenge on the March 17th Road to Wrestlemania special when he took on Bulldog in an arm wrestling match. Right when it looked the Bulldog was about to win, Warlord reached up and grabbed Davey Boy by his hair and smashed him head first into the table. Warlord then picked the table and smashed it on top of Bulldog before applying the full nelson. While both men pride themselves on their strength each also believes their respective finishing moves to be the best in the WWF. While both Bulldog and Warlord are incredibly strong and muscular they are in different ways. At 6'5" Warlord is taller by about half a foot and uses his height to his benefit for the full nelson as with him towering over a lot of his opponents it gives an advantage in leverage when he locks his fingers around the back of their heads from above. Bulldog is more compactly muscled and uses his lower center of gravity to his advantage to get underneath his opponent to hoist them up for the running powerslam before drilling them into the canvas. Many feel that at Wrestlemania the man who is able to properly execute their finishing move first will likely be the winner. The Man from the MortuaryThe Undertaker has a new manager in the form of the macabre and bizarre Paul Bearer. Undertaker was originally managed by Brother Love when he first came to the WWF. However when Love, who has subsequently left the WWF after having his career ended via a terrible beating from the Ultimate Warrior, wanted to focus his efforts solely on his talk show hosting responsibilities he handed over his managerial services to Bearer. Not much is known about Bearer other then like the Undertaker he seems to be a sick individual who has a strange obsession with death. Bearer also carries around a urn that seems to have a special meaning to the Undertaker. The ghoulish duo will be at Wrestlemania VII when Bearer leads the Undertaker into action against "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka. Nordic NightmareThroughout his managerial career Mr. Fuji has managed some of the biggest, strangest, and most dangerous superstars in the WWF. However his newest find, the Berzerker, is perhaps the biggest, strangest, and most dangerous of them all. Named after the most violent and brutal of the Vikings, the Berzerker is just that. Unorthodox and out of control the Berzerker is relentless in the ring. Hailing from Iceland and standing 6'8" and weighing over 300 pounds there seems to be no strategy what so ever when it comes to this viking brute's approach. Berzerker always attacks with reckless abandon and despite his immense size seems to possess incredible stamina as he never seems to tire despite the constant frantic pace he wrestles at. What's most unusual about the Berezerker is that instead of trying to pin opponents he seems to prefer winning his matches by count out. After beating his adversary from pillar to post he will hoist them over his head and just launch them over the top rope down to the floor with the battered foe not being able to make it back into the ring before the ten count. This method of victory will be a difficult feat for the Berzerker at Wrestlemania VII when he takes on a man even bigger then him in the close to 400 pound Tugboat. Picking up a man the size of Tugboat and heaving him over the top rope would definitely be out of the question. However perhaps the devious one Mr. Fuji will have something else up his sleeve to ensure a big victory for his new charge.

News and NotesThe Ultimate UndertakingAfter Wrestlemania a new talk show debuted on WWF Superstars in the Funeral Parlor, hosted by the manager of the Undertaker, Paul Bearer. On the premier edition of the Funeral Parlor Bearer issued a challenge to anyone brave enough to walk through the doors of his morturary the following week. This challenge would be accepted by none other then the WWF World Champion the Ultimate Warrior. Bearer would accuse the Warrior of being afraid of death and also of stepping into the ring with the Undertaker. As Warrior gave his rebuttal unbeknownst to him the Undertaker had emerged from a casket behind him and ambushed him. Undertaker pummeled Warrior down with punches and kicks before smashing Bearer's metal urn over the back of his head. Undertaker then picked Warrior up and put him into a coffin with Bearer then sealing it shut. After Undertaker and Bearer left, a swarm of WWF officials came to the set to try to free Warrior. After several minutes they were able to finally open up the casket with hammers and chisels. While it was only about four minutes for the Warrior it probably felt like a eternity. When the casket was finally opened the Warrior was unconcious due to lack of oxygen and had to be revived. While the Warrior has defeated almost all of the top stars it looks like he's possibly finally met his match in the Undertaker. While the Warrior has shown to have a high threshold of pain, the Undertaker appears to be impervious to it as nobody so far has even come close to even putting a dent in him. While the Warrior has proven to be one of the greatest WWF Champions of all time, the psychological damage he has sustained from the coffin attack combined with the physical capablities of his morbid advisary could very possibly lead to his championship reign being buried six feet under. Snake's RevengeSince coming to the WWF Jake Roberts has always brought his pet python Damien to the ring with him. Damien has proved to be a big equalizer for Jake as if needed he would often he would go to the green bag carrying his reptile companion with even the the biggest and toughest wrestlers, including the eight wondero the world Andre the Giant, cowering in fear. Unfortunately thanks to the Earthquake those days are now over. Problems between Roberts and Earthquake began on the April 6th Superstas of Wrestling. After Roberts had won his match he began making his way to the backstage area. At the same time Earthquake began making his way out for his match with him and Roberts crossing paths in the aisle way. However the usually intense Earthquake seemed unusually timid and aprehensive at the sight of Damien. It became obvious that the one thing that could make the Quake shake was a snake. Sensing the fear Roberts began to threaten Earthquake with Damien with the 460 pound bohemouth cowardly pulling his pint sized manager Jimmy Hart in front of him before retreating to the backstage area. Shortly after this incident a match was signed between the two to take place on the April 20th Superstars. Before the match Quake and Hart attempted to walk out in protest of Roberts pulling Damien out of his bag. However a second referre would force them back to the ring and also make Roberts put Damien back in the back and under the ring. However as Roberts was putting Damien under the ring he became distracted by Hart which allowed Earthquake to attack him from behind. Earthquake threw Roberts into the ring and tied him in the ropes. Quake then went back outside and grabbed the bag with Damien in it. Now feeling brave with the snake tied up the bag, he threw Damien back into the ring. All Roberts could do was helplessly watched as Earthquake repeatedly jumped on his pet with his Earthquake splashes. After finally being released from the ropes the usually calm and cold Roberts was brought to tears when he looked in the bag to see his now dead snake. Despite the loss Roberts has vowed revenge on Earthquake for his dispicable actions and that he will do so with an even bigger snake. That bigger snake is none other then Damien's big brother Lucifer who Roberts say will both greet and eat Earthquake the next time they meet in the squrad circle. The Dragon: Back and Breathing Fire in the WWFRicky "The Dragon" Steamboat is back and breathing fire in the WWF. Literally. Steamboat a former Intercontinental Champion who during his previous tenure in the WWF had all time classic encounters with greats such "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Jake "The Snake" Roberts, is looking to once again become a champion. Possessing tremendous agility, wrestling technique, endurance, and martial arts skills there's no doubt the Dragon has all the tools necessary to become a title holder. In his time away the competition has become tougher with the arrivals of men such Mr. Perfect, Earthquake, and the Undertaker. However this fire breathing Dragon is not intimidated in the slightest by these dangerous foes and his looking to scorch all competition on his way to the top of the WWF. DeparturesShane Douglas and the Honky Tonk Man are no longer with the WWF. RankingsSinglesThe Ultimate Warrior: WWF World Champion(c) 275, Parts Unknown 1. Hulk Hogan (2) 302, Venice Beach, CA 2. News and NotesThe Triangle of Terror: Targeting The Real AmericanAfter winning his war with "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, Sgt. Slaughter and his troops are continuing to target proud American athletes. They are now setting their sights on someone who symbolizes America better then anyone in the Real American Hulk Hogan. In an effort to win his war with Hogan, Slaughter has bolstered his troops by adding Colonel Mustafa to join him and General Adnan in their crusade to rule the WWF. Formerly known as the Iron Sheik, Mustafa is a former WWF World Champion who briefly held the belt in 1984. Mustafa lost the championship to Hogan and has held a long grudge against the Hulkster ever since. It looks like Mustafa has been brought in to be the enforcer of the group by doing Slaughter and Adnan's dirty work. While the conflict in Iraq is over the war between this unholy trinity and the Hulkster is just heating up. In fact quite literally. At Wrestlemania VII after Hogan had finally resolved his long running feud with Earthquake after defeating the walking natural disaster in a stretcher match, he was conducting a post match interview backstage with Mean Gene Okerlund. Then completely unprovoked Slaughter appeared out of nowhere and threw a fireball in Hogan's face before he, Mustafa, and Adnan all started putting the boots the immortal one. At the next Satruday Night's Main Event PPV Hogan will have a chance to get even when he takes on Slaughter in the first ever Desert Storm Match. In this match there are no count outs or disqualification and the only way to win is by submission. Will Slaughter and his core accomplish their biggest triumph yet or will the Real American once again come through for the red, white, and blue? Hitman Hart: Striking Out On His OwnAfter six years together the Hart Foundation has decided to go their seperate ways. While Jim "The Anvil Neidhart is now purusing a career as a color commentator by joining the Wrestling Challenge announce team, Bret "Hitman" Hart is now entering the singles ranks of the WWF. At the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV the Hitman will face his first big test as a singles competitor when goes one on one in an interesting clash of styles with Sione the Barbarian. One of the most powerful superstars in the WWF, the Barbarian relies on strength and brute force to win matches. The Hitman on the other hand is perhaps the greastest in ring technician in the WWF and relies on this technique as well as smarts to come out ahead. It will be a battle of force versus finesse when these two stars collide in an all important match where the winner could be in line for future championship match opportunities down the road. Andre The Giant: Comeback On HoldDespite his loss to Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemaia VII, it hasn't stopped the Earthquake from continuing to reek havoc in the WWF. In April he committed his most despicable act yet when he killed Jake Roberts pet snake, Damien, after squashing the helpless reptile with his Earthquake Splash. Since then Earthquake has continued to make big enemies and in fact has made one of the biggest possible enemy of them all. After Wrestlemania VII Andre the Giant announced that he was making a comeback to the WWF after a year off. Managers quickly clamored to sign the eighth wonder of the world to their stable. However each week Bobby Heenan, Mr. Fuji, Slick, and "Sensational" Sherri were all turned down in embarassing fashion. That left Jimmy Hart as the only manager standing. Hart was overjoyed as he figured with both Earthquake and Andre in his stable he could put the two giants together to form an unstoppable tag team. However it turned out that Hart counted his eggs before they hatched. On the May 18th Superstars of Wrestling after Earthquake had easily dispactched another opponent, Hart brought Mean Gene Okerlund down to ring because he had a special announcement to make. Hart then announced that he was managing Andre the Giant. Andre then made his way down to ringside and denied that he was being managed by Hart. An irate Hart then called Andre a liar which drew the ire of the Giant as he grabbed the Mouth of the South by his jacket with Jimmy then dropping his megaphone blow horn. Earthquake would quickly strike as picked up the megaphone and then used it to smash Andre in his knee from behind with it. Earthquake would then drop several elbow drops and splashes on Andre's knee leaving the Giant writhing in pain. Barely able to stand Andre would refuse help from officals and make his way to the back but only with help from the guardrai. As a result of the attack Andre will not be able to wrestle any time soon. It seems like perhaps Earthquake's recent actions will have some negative ramifications as he's now made two very dangerous enemies in not only Andre but also Jake "The Snake" Roberts. At Saturday Night's Main Event Desert Storm Jake will finally have a chance to get even with Earthquake when they go one on one. Jake has also promised that he has a big surprise in store. Irwin R. Schyster: A Taxing PainThere's been very few superstars who have gotten under as many people's skins in a short amount of time as Irwin R. Schyster. A IRS tax collector from Washington, D.C., Schyster has been harassing wrestlers and fans as "tax cheats" and scolding them to "pay their fair share". Wrestling in a white shirt, suspenders, a tie, and slacks Schyster definitely has one of the most unsusual in ring apparel as he looks like he should be behind a desk in an office somewhere instead of a wrestling ring. However the tax man so far has proved he can back it up in the ring as he has displayed tremendous technical wrestling skills and athletic ability. However his accusations could come back to haunt him when he starts facing tougher competition in the likes of Jimmy Snuka and the British Bulldog who could make sure that it's Schyster who is the one paying the price. DeparturesDino Bravo, Rick Martel, and Demolition Crush are all gone from the WWF. Bravo last appeared on the May 4th Superstars of Wrestling in a loss to Greg Valentine. Martel last appeared on the May 11th Superstars of Wrestling in a loss to Roddy Piper. Crush last appeared on the May 12th Wrestling Challenge in which he teamed with Smash in a losing effort against the Legion of Doom.

News and NotesNever Trust a SnakeThere's never been a superstar who has posed as big of a threat to WWF World Champion the Ultimate Warrior then the Undertaker. Both physically and psychologically. After being locked in a coffin by the Undertaker last April, the Warrior hasn't been same. In interviews after the incident the usual intense and energetic Warrior was very subdued when talking about the Undertaker and his frightening experience. Many thought it seemed like he was even afraid. This assessment would be backed when the Warrior for the first time decided to seek help as he reached out to Jake "The Snake" Roberts to help learn about the darkside so he could overcome his fear and defeat the Undertaker in his upcoming title defense in the first ever Coffin Match at the Saturday Night's Main Event Wrestlefest PPV. While it was a risky move to put his trust in a twisted man like Roberts, Warrior had teamed with him a couple of times in the past without issue and if there was anyone who would know about the darkside it would be the Snake. Warrior figured it was a risk worth taking. Over the next several weeks Roberts would put through the Warrior through a series of tests. First he would lock Warrior in a coffin like he had been weeks before. When Roberts opened the coffin, the Warrior sat up with a blank emotionless look on his face similar to that of the Undertaker. While these methods were definitely unorthodox it already seemed like there was a method to the Snake's madness. Then the following week Roberts would take the Warrior to a cemetary. Roberts would have Warrior dig his own "grave" before then burying him up to his neck. Warrior had past the first two tests and it was now time for the final challenge. Roberts would lock Warrior in a room claiming that inside it contained the secret to defeating the Undertaker. However the Snake's true intentions would quickly become clear when it was revealed that there was several venomous snakes in the room with one of them biting the Warrior. In a last ditched effort Warrior would use all his remaining strength to bust the door down where he landed right at the feet of the Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Standing beside them was none other then Jake. This would be the last thing the Warrior saw before passing out. Fortunately the camera man was able to get medical help for Warrior and save him. Warrior will still be at Wrestlefest to defend his title but it's doubtful he will be at 100%. Then when you also factor in the Undertaker's newly formed unholy union with the Snake who will surely be lurking nearby, it stacks the odds even more against the champion. One can't help speculate as to why Jake Roberts did what he did. Was it professional jealousy? Was there monetary gain involved? Or most likely the reason being that if there was ever someone truly demonic who truly enjoys inflicting pain and suffering others it would be Jake "The Snake" Roberts. Tugboat Jumps ShipIt seems like no one can be trusted in the WWF these days. In another shocking betrayl Tugboat, the erstwhile protege of Hulk Hogan, has turned his back on all of the Hulkamaniacs to join the forces of Jimmy Hart. On the June 22nd episode of WWF Superstars Tugboat teamed with the Bushwhackers in a six man tag team match against the Mouth of the South led trio of Earthquake and the WWF Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys. However during the match Tugboat was noticeably acting peculiar. Any time one of the Bushwhackers would go to tag him into the match he would turn his back and play to the crowd by doing his signature toot. Eventually Butch would force a tag to bring him into the match against Earthquake. However Tugboat would then just quickly tag out without launching any kind of attack. With them getting no assistance from their partner the Bushwhackers would be overwhelmed with Butch having to save Luke from a certain pin after an Earthquake powerslam. When Butch went after Hart who had jumped on the apron, Tugboat would show his true colors. Tugboat blindsided Butch and threw him out of the ring before then hitting a big splash on Luke. Earthquake would then follow that up with a sitdown splash to score the academic pinfall. Tugboat would then high five Earthquake and celebrate with his new found allies. While this sudden change of attitude may have come as a shock to most, apparently it's something that under the surface has been brewing for quite some time. Last year when Hulk Hogan was injured by Earthquake it was Tugboat who started the Get Well Hulk Campaign that eventually led to Hogan returning to the WWF. However in Tugboat's mind his friendship with Hogan was becoming a one way street. At the Royal Rumble Hogan would eliminate Tugboat. Tugboat was stewing over this even though he had in fact he had attacked Hogan first and tried to throw him out and that the rules of the Royal Rumble is that there's no friends and it's every man for himself. Tugboat would then go on a losing streak through the early months of 1991 dropping matches to the Undertaker, the Berzerker, and Ted Dibiase. Then in May on an episode of Wrestling Challenge he took on Sgt. Slaughter. Slaughter had just started a rivalry with Hogan and was looking to send a message to the Hulkster by defeating his protoge. After interference from the rest of the Triangle of Terror and using his army helmet to brain Tugboat in the head, Slaughter would secure the victory. Then after the match the Triangle of Terror would continue to attack Tugboat in a three on one assault. Tugboat felt betrayed by Hogan in that he didn't come out to help him even though Hulk couldn't be there as he was at a charity fundraiser event. Meanwhile Jimmy Hart was looking for a tag team partner to team up with Earthquake after his attempt at signing Andre the Giant failed. Word in the dressing room spreads fast and it eventually got back to Hart that Tugboat wasn't happy and looking for a change. While Tugboat had been at odds with Hart's men in the past Hart figured the combination of money, bitterness towards Hogan, and desperation with his career sinking would convince the once sailing superstar to jump ship. Hart had found his man. While he was unable to get Andre he had managed to get the next best thing. One week after his betrayal of the Bushwhackers it was announced that Tugboat will now be known as Typhoon and will be teaming with Earthquake as the Natural Disasters. At a total combined weight of close to 900 pounds they are the biggest team in WWF history. Hart is planning on using the monstrous pair to run interference for his WWF Tag Team Champions the Nasty Boys and snuff out any potential title challengers. Sid Justice: Can He Live Up To The Hype?No superstar has created more buzz upon their arrival then Sid Justice. At 6'9" and 318 pounds of rock solid muscle the West Memphis, Arkansas native possesses an unmatched combination of strength, athleticism, and intensity never seen before in the WWF. Many pundits and people within the federation feel this could be the man who carries the WWF through the 1990's. At the same time there is a bit of mystery about Justice. Not much is known about him beyond his obvious physical gifts and many are questioning what side of the fence this mountain of a man is going to stand. Both fan favorites and rule breakers alike have sang the praises of the newcomer. Several have also tried to form an alliance with him. No one more so then Sgt. Slaughter. On a recent episode of Prime Time Wrestling Justice made a special guest appearance. However later camera's picked up Slaughter trying to recruit Justice to his core and become "First Lieutenant Justice". However then Colonel Mustafa caught the camera man filming and forced him to stop before it was revealed what Justice's response was. It's possible nothing will come of this but one must wonder how even more dangerous Slaughter will become if he has this imposing figure backing him up? Barber Shop OpenAbout a year ago Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake's promising career tragically came to an end when he was injured in a parasailing accident. However recently fans were elated to find out that while he won't be able to wrestle that Beefcake would be making a return to the WWF by hosing his own talk show segment on Wrestling Challenge called The Barber Shop. At the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV Beefcake will host his biggest Barber Shop yet when he has as his guest none other then Hulk Hogan who apparently will be making a big announcement. News and NotesA Match Made in HeavenOver the years through good times and bad Miss Elizabeth has always been there for Randy Savage. This was never more obvious then at Wrestlemania when she came to his aid when he was being attacked by former manager "Sensational" Sherri who was enraged after Savage lost the career ending match against the Ultimate Warrior. Shortly after rumors and speculation began circulating that wedding bells were in the air. These rumors would be proven true when during a recent in ring interview Savage would propose to Elizabeth who responded with a Macho Man esque "Oh Yeah". The wedding will take place August 26th at Summerslam in Madison Square Garden when the happy couple will tie the knot in what will truly be a match made in heaven. Law of the LandWhen the Mountie debuted in the WWF late last year it seemed only inevitable that at some point he would be at odds with the other lawman in the Federation, the Big Boss Man. The man from the great white north has claimed that his brand of international justice is far superior to that of the man from the "puny hick town" in the deep south. Not only would the Mountie be the first to strike with words but he would also be the first to strike with action as well. At the June Saturday Night's Main Event Desert Storm PPV as Boss Man was defending his Intercontinental Championship in a rematch against Mr. Perfect, the Mountie would strike. As the referee was distracted by Perfect's manager, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, Mountie would jab Boss Man in the back with his electric prod. Boss Man was then Perfect Plexed and pinned by Perfect. Afterwards Boss Man was livid as he was robbed of something he had worked so hard and long for. If the Mountie didn't have his attention before he definitely did now. At the following month's Saturday Night's Main Event Wrestlefest PPV, the Boss Man would gain a measure of revenge when he defeated the Mountie in a one on one encounter. However while he won the battle he would lose the war as the Mountie got the last laugh by attacking him after the bell with the cattle prod and leaving him laying. On Wrestling Challenge the following day Mountie would score an easy win over a preliminary opponent. However before he could electrocute his defeated opponent after the match with the cattle prod, he was stopped by Boss Man who battered the Canadian Lawman with a big boot and then the Boss Man Slam. Boss Man then attempted to handcuff his rival but a distraction from manager Jimmy Hart allowed Mountie to escape. On the August 3rd episode of Superstars of Wrestling the game of tit for tat would continue. After the Boss Man defeated a preliminary opponent he was ambushed by the Nasty Boys, not coincidentally stablemates of the Mountie with all three men being managed by Jimmy Hart. The Nasty Boys would use Boss Man's own handcuff's to tie him to the ropes before the mastermind, the Mountie, strolled down to ringside. After taunting Boss Man on the microphone, Mountie would once again repeatedly shock him with the cattle prod. On the August 12th episode of Prime Time Wrestling Boss Man would once again retaliate. Mountie took on Sid Justice and after deciding he had enough of the powerful newcomer decided to retreat to the locker room and take a deliberate count out loss instead of taking any more abuse. Unfortunately for Mountie before he could reach safe haven he was stopped in the aisle way by Boss Man. Stuck between a rock and a hard place Mountie was forced back into the ring where he would sustain a devastating chokeslam and then a powerbomb from Justice. At Summerslam things will be settled once and for all when the two men face off in the first ever jailhouse match in which the loser will have to spend a night in the New York City slammer. Will the Mountie get his man? Or will the Boss Man make sure his rival serves hard times? Hitman Hart: Perfect In His CrosshairsSince entering the singles ranks last spring, Bret Hart has mowed through all competition. A lot of the Hitman's recent success can be attributed to his new finishing maneuver the sharpshooter, a punishing leg grapevine submission hold that puts incredible pressure on the legs and lower back. As a result of his recent win streak, the Hitman has now become the #1 Contender for Mr. Perfect's Intercontinental Championship. At Summerslam Perfect will put his title on the line against Hart in a match that should be an all time classic. There's a lot of similarities between the two men. Both are about the same age and size. Both have a similar style as they are probably the two best in ring technicians in the WWF. Both are also second generation wrestlers who come from wrestling families. However the big difference between the two is their attitudes. Perfect is arrogant and will break any rule in the book to keep his title. Hart despite his abilities is humble and plays by the rules although he is willing to fight fire with fire if his opponent doesn't do the same. Despite their difference in philosophies both share a mutual respect for each's skill as even the conceited Perfect has given the Hitman credit for his ability. At Summerslam though any admiration will be out the way when both do battle in match that will surely determine who the best technical wrestler in the WWF is. Of the two Hart will have more pressure on him not because he's the challenger but also for the fact that he has more to prove with the stigma that he only can be successful in tag teams. At Summerslam he can put all those criticisms to bed once and for all by winning the Intercontinental Championship and proving to Mr. Perfect once and for all that there's no such thing as perfection. DeparturesHaku is no longer with the WWF. Haku's last appearance was on the July 6th episode of Superstars of Wrestling in which he was defeated by Bret Hart. News and NotesHogan-Warrior IIAt Wrestlemana VI perhaps the greatest match of all time took place when then WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan took on then WWF Intercontinental Champion the Ultimate Warrior in the ultimate challenge. It was recently announced that the two titans will face off once again at Summerslam in what will surely be a clash for the ages. In their last encounter it was the Warrior who prevailed in a match that could've went either way. Since then the Warrior has proven to be a very worthy champion as he's defeated challengers of all shapes, sizes, and styles. The list of top wrestlers Warrior has defeated is a who's who. Rick Rude, the Barbarian, Earthquake, the Warlord, Ted Dibiase, Sgt. Slaughter, Randy Savage, and the Undertaker. Being able to adapt is one of the abilities needed to be a great champion and Warrior has definitely proven he has that with vast array of opponents he's been able to defeat. Hogan meanwhile became sidetracked from trying to regain the championship following a potential career ending injury at the hands of Earthquake shortly after Wrestlemania. When Hogan returned after four months on the shelf he was embroiled in a heated feud with Earthquake that lasted through the rest of 1990 and early months of 1991 before being concluded at Wrestlemania when Hogan was victorious in a stretcher match. Despite the setbacks of the title loss and the injury it doesn't seem like Hogan has lost a step at all. In the last year he's defeated Earthquake and Sgt. Slaughter, was one of the only two men along with Warrior to survive the grueling Survivor Series, and won the 30 Man Royal Rumble match in January. However as impressive as he's been the question still remains. Can he beat Warrior? While Warrior was the one with more to prove last time, the shoe will be on the other foot this time around. Hogan still believes he's the best and that Hulkamania is the most powerful in the universe but that can't be proven true until he beats Warrior. Either way it will be a fair match with no excuses either way as like last year both men have watched each others back to make sure each would be 100% for the big match. At the Saturday Night's Main Event Wrestlefest PPV Hogan came to the rescue of Warrior when he was being double teamed by the diabolical duo of Jake Roberts and the Undertaker. On the August 3rd Superstars Warrior would return the favor when he came to aid of Hogan when he was being triple teamed by the Triangle of Terror after Hulk had defeated Colonel Mustafa. Who will prevail when the two most powerful forces in the WWF go head to head one more time? Sid: Looking to Serve Justice on SlaughterWhen Sid Justice first entered the WWF many wondered what side of the fence he would stand on. At Saturday Night's Main Event Wrestlefest that question would be answered when he came to the aid of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan when he was being triple teamed by the Triangle of Terror. This came as a surprise to Sgt. Slaughter who had been courting the newcomer for several weeks to join his troops. While Justice would listen to Slaughter's offers out of politeness, deep down he had no intention of ever joining him. When he saw Duggan being unfairly attacked three on one, he saw an opportunity to give the Sarge his answer in a physical way. Despite his incredible intensity and intimidating size, Justice is a virtuous young man who is making it his goal to right the wrongs in the WWF. Growing up a farm boy in Arkansas, Justice is a polite and pleasant southern gentleman outside the ring. However inside it he's like a volcano waiting to erupt. This was very evident in his debut match on WWF Superstars of Wrestling against Kato, one half of the dangerous Orient Express tag team. The Japanese rulebreaker would attack Justice from behind at the start of the match, hammering away with punches and kicks. However none of the blows seemed to have any effect on Justice. If anything it seemed like they were just making him more angry. Justice then would proceed to beat the masked man from pillar to post before scoring an easy victory with his trademark move the powerbomb, an extremely punishing move in which Sid puts the opponent in a piledriver position but instead just lifts him up onto his shoulders before slamming him down back first from seven feet up. All rulebreakers in the WWF had been put on notice. Namely Slaughter who will be facing Justice at Summerslam. After the last Saturday Night's Main Event Justice became the Triangle of Terror's top target. However Justice isn't backing down and proved at the recent Summerslam Spectacular when he scored an impressive win over the treacherous trio's enforcer, Col. Mustafa. However scoring a victory Slaughter will be a more difficult task. The brutal drill sergeant is an extremely dangerous and cunning foe who has even given both Hulk Hogan and the Ultimate Warrior a run for the money. Also with Mustafa and Gen. Adnan likely being at ringside Justice will have to keep a head on the swivel at all times. Sid doesn't seem to be worried though and has vowed that at Summerslam Justice will be served! Keeping it in the FamilyThe Heenan Family will now have a more literal meaning to it with the addition of Bobby "The Brain" Heenan's newest tag team, the Beverly Brothers. The Beverly's, Beau and Blake, are the nephews of Heenan and have lived a very privileged life growing up in Beverly Hills, California. Born with silver spoons in their mouth the Beverly's have always got what they wanted. Getting into the WWF was no exception as being related to Heenan made that easy for them too with Uncle Bobby pulling the necessary strings. However winning the WWF Tag Team Championship, the goal for every tag team, is something the wealthy brothers are going to have to earn. Despite their flamboyant appearance and demeanor the two Rodeo Drive rich boys have proven to be quite tough in the squared circle. Both brothers possess good size and wrestling ability as their wealth has allowed for them to have the best wrestling tutors money can buy. They've also displayed tremendous teamwork by executing many tandem maneuvers. The most dangerous being a move they call the Beverly Bomb in which Blake lifts the opponent for a backbody drop before Beau grabs the foe by the hair and spikes him head first into the canvas. The Beverly's have also made it clear that they feel a lot of the competition in the WWF is beneath them. Namely teams like the "uncouth" Bushwhackers and the "classless" Rockers. They claim that they will use these teams as stepping stones towards the Tag Team Championship. While the Beverly's have proven to be impressive so far it has also been at the expense of inferior competition. Defeating teams like the Bushwhackers and Rockers will not be as easy and could lead to the arrogant sibling duo being humbled and knocked down a few pegs.
