News and NotesRockers No MoreOn the January 12th Wrestling Challenge after months of tension and bickering the Rockers were invited to by Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake to his Barber Shop to reconcile their differences. After claiming to be the captain of the team Michaels would state that there was no problems within the team. Jannetty would then say that was a lie as there was internal problems and that there was no captain of the team. After taking turns blaming each other for recent losses Jannetty would give Michaels an ultimatum. Jannetty said he was committed to make the team work and that he was going to turn his back and if Michaels wanted to go on his own he could leave or he could stay and shake his hand and continuing to rock and roll like the Rockers had always done. After Jannetty turned his back Michaels would turn him back around and shake his hand. At this moment everything seemed good and that they had finally patched up their difference. However then Michaels would shockingly stab his longtime partner in the back as he blindsided him with a superkick before then throwing him head first through the window of the Barber Shop. Michaels would then add a few stomps for good measure to Jannetty who was bleeding profusely. Jannetty suffered a concussion and some contusions from the attack and as a result will now be unable to compete in the upcoming Royal Rumble for the vacant World Wrestling Federation Championship. Michaels however will be in it and has the opportunity to start his singles career in the best way possible by shocking the world and becoming World Champion. The Model ReturnsAfter a seven month sabatical Rick "The Model" Martel has returned to the WWF. Martel has had such a busy schedule modeling throughout the world that it's been hard for him to find time for his wrestling career. However with the Royal Rumble around the corner and the opportunity to become WWF World Champion at stake he has decided to make a return. Martel could be a sneaky favorite to take home the gold as in last years Royal Rumble he finished runner up to Hulk Hogan while also shattering the endurance record by lasting an incredible 54 minutes plus. Building A New FoundationAfter being attacked and injured by the Beverly Brothers a few months ago, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart vowed that he would get revenge and that he would be returning with a tag team partner to back him up. Apparently at first Neidhart asked his old Hart Foundation tag team partner, Bret "Hitman" Hart, for help. However with Bret's busy schedule as Intercontinental Champion he wouldn't be able to do so. However Bret told him he had the next best thing in his younger brother, "The Rocket" Owen Hart. A master of high flying offense and possessing technical wrestling ability possibly even stronger then his older brother, Owen looks to be the real deal. Owen and Neidhart will now be teaming as the New Foundation a team that many think could be even better then the Hart Foundation at their peak. With the speed and agility of the Rocket and the raw power and brute strength of the Anvil this team seems to have all the bases covered and could very well be soaring to the top of the WWF Tag Team Division in no time.

News and NotesThe Model: Adds Intercontinental Championship to Winter CollectionRick Martel's arrogance is now at an all time high after his recent capture of the Intercontinental Championship. Just nine days away from his scheduled IC title defense against the Model at Saturday Night's Main Event: Mile High Mountain, Bret "Hitman" would defend his championship against Martel on February 6th at an event in Springfield, Massachusetts. Hart was wrestling against doctor's orders as he was sick with a 104 degree temperature. However not wanting to disappoint his fans Hart would still go through with his title defense. Martel would take advantage of the weary Hitman and pin him to win the championship after reversing an inside cradle. Not just happy with winning the title Martel would continue to attack Hart after the bell with his newly won title belt. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper would then come to ringside to come to the aid of his friend with Martel then leaving ringside. Piper however would make the mistake of turning his back with Martel then coming back into the ring and attacking him with the belt as well. Piper would manage to recover from the blows though and knock Martel out of the ring. Hart suffered a back injury in his title loss and as a result will now not be at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV. Piper will now be filling in for Hart and challenging Martel for his newly won championship. On The Warpath
Chris Chavis, a full blooded Lumbee Indian, has recently debuted in the WWF. Chavis was given the name Tatanka by his tribe. Tatanka means buffalo. Inside the ring the powerfully built Chavis is like wrestling a buffalo as once he gets a full ahead of steam he seems to be unstoppable, stampeding over opponents with tackles and tomahawk chops before finishing them off with a move he calls the End of the Trail in which he lifts his adversary up in a standing fireman's carry position before dropping straight back with the full force of his powerful 260 pound frame into their sternum. Already claimed by many to be the greatest Native American athlete to ever compete in the WWF, Tatanka is looking to prove it by taking on and defeating top WWF stars such as Rick "The Model" Martel and the Warlord. SpellbinderAnother new arrival to the WWF is that of the mysterious Papa Shango. Coming to the ring carrying a skull billowing smoke while standing 6'7" and weighing 330 pounds with his whole arms and torso covered in tattoo's and face paint that looks like a skeleton, Shango is definitely an imposing sight to say the least. Intimidation has benefitted Shango greatly so far as opponents have been so psyched out by his physical presence that they've basically been defeated before the bell has even rang. However there could be something else that is aiding Shango. The witch doctor is a practitioner of voodoo and seems to gain power from it. In some of his recent matches opponents of Shango have suffered mysterious shoulder and leg injuries before Shango has even touched them, leaving them easy pickings for the haunting superstar. One must wonder if or when Shango will try to curse some of the higher level stars in the WWF. Shawn and Sherri: Troublesome TwosomeShawn Michaels has gone through quite the attitude change since literally throwing now former tag team partner, Marty Jannetty, out the window. Michaels has also picked up a new manager in the "Sensational" Sherri. On a recent edition of Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor Sherri would state that she was in love and had found the man of her dreams in Michaels. Sherri has also amicably split "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase who has given her his blessing to go with Michaels. What's quite noticeable about Sherri since she's been with Michaels is how different she's been acting. In the past she's been known to be very loud and abrasive, yelling and constantly interfering in matches. However since she's been with Michaels she's become more quiet and subdued, usually just staring admirably at her "Boy Toy" like a love sick school girl. However it seems like the relationship between Shawn and Sherri is a bit of a one way street. While Sherri has time and time again expressed how she's in love with Shawn, Michaels has never once said he feels the same way about her. If anything Shawn seems to be more in love with himself. A very arrogant and self absorbed man, Michaels has been constantly touting how handsome he is and that he is the sexiest man alive. While conceited Michaels does undoubtedly have the ability to back it up. Possessing tremendous athleticism and wrestling knowledge with ability to execute maneuvers never seen before, there's many calling Michaels the wrestler of the 90's. With the ability he possesses and the dangerous Sherri in his corner it could only be a matter of time before this arrogant but talented young man is at the very top of the WWF. 8. WWF World Champion Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect pinned Hulk Hogan w/ Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake at 15:42 after Sid Justice turned on Hogan by hitting him with a chair and powerbombing him when it appeared he was going to save Hogan from a double team attack from Flair and Perfect as the referee was down.

News and NotesJustice Is SwervedAt the recent Saturday Night's Main Event Sid Justice shocked the wrestling world when he turned his back on Hulk Hogan and all of his fans. Although Sid has been stating for months that he's all about justice it appears now that he's revealed his true colors. Following his return in late December after a month on the sidelines with an arm injury, glimpses of the real Sid Justice began to appear. In a few instances after scoring victories Justice would further punish opponents by delivering a second powerbomb. This seemed uncalled for but at the time was dismissed as Sid realizing that after his injury it was a dog eat dog world in the WWF and that he would have to get a bit meaner to survive. Also when he returned Sid would come to the aid of Miss Elizabeth while standing side by side with Randy Savage in his war with Jake Roberts and the Undertaker, even teaming with him the same night he betrayed Hogan. However in hindsight this perhaps wasn't Justice doing a heroic deed out of the goodness of his heart, but just a ploy to get everyone's guard down. After the Royal Rumble chinks in Justice's armor would continue to appear. After the event a press conference was held where Jack Tunney would decide among the top five challengers who would be the #1 Contender for Ric Flair's newly won WWF World Championship. Hogan, Justice, Savage, Undertaker, and Roddy Piper were the top five challengers chosen. Justice thought he was a lock to be a chosen with his runner up finish in the Royal Rumble, undefeated win-loss record, and victory in the main event of the Survivor Series. Instead Tunney would announce Hogan as the number one contender to challenge Flair at the following Saturday Night's Main Event PPV. Justice was enraged afterwards claiming Tunney's decision to be "BOGUS" and that he had always showed favoritism to Hogan. Justice also stated that "Hulk Hogan couldn't beat Ric Flair on his best day". While Justice did bring up some valid points in his argument such as the fact that he eliminated Hogan in the Royal Rumble and that he was the sole survivor in the main event of the Survivor Series which also included both Hulk and Flair, it was shocking to see how poorly he was handling the situation. Always known to be an honorable and stand up man, Sid was acting like a petulant child. In response Tunney would agree that Sid had some valid points but stated the reason he wasn't chosen was due to the time he missed due to his injury after Survivor Series. Tunney also claimed that Hogan was deserving a title shot after never having got his one on one championship match after being stripped of the Championship following Thursday In Texas. A week later Justice would issue an apology to Hogan and the fans claiming that he was out of line and that his temper had got the best of him. At the Saturday Night's Main Event PPV Justice would team up with Randy Savage to defeat Jake Roberts and the Undertaker in a no disqualification with nothing seeming a miss or out of the ordinary. However as it would turn out this was all just part of master plan to lull Hogan into a false sense of security. In the main event Hogan challenged Flair for the championship. Late in the contest the referee was knocked out after being run into by Flair. Flair's Executive Consultant, Mr. Perfect, would use this as an opportunity to get into the ring and start illegally helping Flair double team Hogan. Perfect would hold Hogan while Flair grabbed a steel chair. This is when Justice came to ringside to seemingly help Hogan. After knocking Flair out of the ring, he would grab the chair and scare Perfect off. Then Justice would smash Hogan in the back with. Then for good measure Sid would pick Hogan up and floor him with a powerbomb. Sid would start heading back to the locker when he was stopped by Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, who was in Hogan's corner. Sid would then threaten to rearrange Beefcake's surgically repaired face before leaving. Meanwhile in the ring Flair covered Hogan for a three count to retain his championship. Afterwards Sid would further alieante fans by taking on Dr. Harvey Wippleman as his manager. On top of that he's also changed his name as the virtuous Sid Justice has now become the maniacal Sycho Sid. Since Saturday Night's Main Event Sycho Sid has gone on a rampage, destroying opponent after opponent and beating them so badly that they've had to be carried away from the ring on the stretcher. At Wrestlemania VIII Hogan will take on Sycho Sid in a major grudge match. Will Hulk get revenge on the man who cost him the championship? Or will just he just be the next victim to get stretchered out? Piper: Claims Gold For The First TimeIt was hard to believe that despite being one of the greatest wrestlers to ever compete in the World Wrestling Federation that "Rowdy" Roddy had never held a championship. That would change on the recent Saturday Night's Main Event PPV when Piper, filling in for an injured Bret Hart, would defeat Rick "The Model" Martel for the Intercontinental Championship. With how tough he's been to beat over the years many are thinking it will be a long time before anyone will be able to wrest the title away from the Rowdy Scotsman. However there are currently several tough top contenders that Piper will have to contend with. Martel will get his obligatory rematch and then there's also the likes of Shawn Michaels and the Mountie. Then there's also another former champion in Bret "Hitman" Hart who also is still owed another rematch. Hart is considered to be the biggest threat to Piper as many consider him to be the uncrowned champion since he lost the championship when he wasn't a hundred percent and was wrestling injured. Undertaker: More Then What Meets The Eye?Since coming to the WWF the Undertaker has been a man shrouded in darkness. Despite his cold and callous exterior he's recently showed a different side to him that has left fans stunned. On the recent Saturday Night's Main Event Undertaker teamed with his ally Jake "The Snake" Roberts to take on "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Sid Justice in a no disqualification tag team match. During the match Roberts would grab a chair and try to use it on Savage. However before he could use it Savage's wife, Miss Elizabeth, would take the chair away from Roberts. An enraged Roberts would then grab Elizabeth by her hair and went to strike her. However as he reared back he was stopped by all of people the Undertaker. Roberts would slap Undertaker in the face which would prove to be a big mistake as the Taker then grabbed the Snake by his throat before lifting him up and driving him head first into the mat with his tombstone piledriver finishing move. Undertaker and his manager Paul Bearer would then leave the Snake who was then elbow dropped and pinned by Savage. While far from a saint unlike Roberts the Undertaker has a heart and wasn't going to let a defenseless woman be harmed. The Snake had gone too far and had to be put in his place. The following week Roberts would be a guest of Paul Bearer's Funeral Parlor where he hoped to meet with Undertaker to know where he was coming from and where he stood. It wouldn't take long for him to get his answer. When Roberts asked where the Undertaker stood the Man From The Darkside would look at the urn being carried by Bearer before looking the Snake right in the eyes and replying "NOT YOURS!". Roberts would then take the urn and drop it into the coffin placed in the middle of the Funeral Parlor set. When Undertaker went to retrieve Roberts would slam the coffin lid on his hand and seal it shot. Remarkably besides an initial grimace the Undertaker didn't seem to be in much pain. However he was still trapped and unable to help Bearer who then DDTed by Roberts. Roberts would then grab a chair and repeated bash the trapped Undertaker with it. However none of the blows had any effect and if anything just seemed to be making Undertaker more angry. Eventually Roberts became so frustrated that he dropped the chair and non sensicaly tried attacking Undertaker with his fists instead. Undertaker would easily shrug the blows off and stalk Roberts back to the locker while dragging the coffin with him. At Wrestlemania VIII the former allies will go one on one when Roberts takes on Undertaker. With how unstoppable the Undertaker appears it's hard to imagine anyone being able to beat him. However the Snake is an extremely cunning and dangerous individual who will surely have some tricks up his sleeve that could result in him slithering to an unexpected win. Million Dollar ConspiracyAn the recent Saturday Night's Main Event the Legion of Doom were set to defend their Tag Team Championship against the Natural Disasters in a rematch from the Royal Rumble. However instead a week before the match it was announced that instead the LOD were taking on the newly formed team of "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster now collectively known as Money Incorporated. According to the Disasters manager, Jimmy Hart, one of the Disasters was injured and he asked for Jack Tunney to pull them from the title match and wait until his team was 100%. However when Dibiase and IRS showed up for the match they were accompanied by Jimmy Hart even though he had never managed either before in the past. Something was clearly fishy. When it seemed like LOD was closing in on victory, the Beverly Brothers and the Genius, who it was later revealed had been paid off by Dibiase, interfered. During the fracas Beau Beverly would level Hawk with the Genius' scroll. Dibiase would then cover Hawk for the three count to give him and IRS the championship. Bad blood had been brewing between the LOD and the Beverly's. On February 9th Superstars of Wrestling the Beverly's were set to take on the New Foundation. Before the match could even start Owen Hart was knocked out of the ring by the Genius' scroll with Neidhart then being on the receiving end of a triple team by the Beverly's and their manager. However before any more damage could be done the LOD would come to the rescue and run Beverly's off. Knowing the Beverly's had a bone to pick with their opponents, Dibiase would approach them with an offer. The Beverly's weren't the only ones to have their price. It turns that neither of the Natural Disasters were actually injured and that Jimmy Hart had lied so Dibiase and IRS, who he had sold out to, could get the title shot instead. As a result the Disasters have now fired Hart as their manager. At Wrestlemania VIII the Disasters will have a chance to get revenge on their former manager when they challenge Money Incorporated for their newly won championship. DeparturesMarty Jannetty, Greg Valentine, Sione the Barbarian, Pat Tanaka, Jim Neidhart, Hercules, and Jimmy Snuka are all no longer with the WWF. Why aren’t you giving Shawn Michaels the Heartbreak Kid nickname? That’s a good nickname, man!

Hogan Retiring?Rumors have been circulating about Hulk Hogan retiring from wrestling to pursue a full time career in Hollywood after Wrestlemania VIII. While Hogan hasn't given an answer when asked in interviews, Hulk's opponent Sycho Sid has vowed that he will make sure it's Hogan's last match whether he wants to retire or not. As if the threat of Sycho Sid isn't bad enough, Hogan now also must possibly have to contend with Papa Shango who has claimed to put a curse on Hogan. At Wrestlemania VIII will Hogan be able to beat the odds and overcome Justice and possibly Shango in what might be his last match? Macho and Flair Affair"Macho Man" Randy Savage hasn't lost a step since returning to the ring late last year. After coming out on top in his bitter feud with Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Savage now finds himself the number one contender to the World Championship where he will now have an opportunity to win the second title for a second time at Wrestlemania VIII when he takes on Ric Flair. After the title match Flair and his advisors, Mr. Perfect and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, immediately began scheming. Soon Flair started making claims that he had been in a previous relationship with Savage's wife Miss Elizabeth, going so far to even have doctored photos published in the WWF Magazine of him and Elizabeth together. Flair's plan has worked in that it's got under Savage skin. Will Savage be able to control his rage enough and not make mistakes that could cost him a chance to become a champion again? Or will Flair's plan backfire with him not being able to absorb the punishment dished out by an angry Macho Man? Hitman: Wants His Belt BackOne of the most interesting matches at Wrestlemania VIII will pit Intercontinental Champion "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and former champion Bret "Hitman" Hart. While a lot of the matches on the card feature heated rivals going against each other, this battle will be between two friends. Despite their friendship Piper has made it clear that come April 5th it will all go out the window as he says he's playing for keeps and will do anything to keep his championship. Over the last month or so more friction has developed between Piper and Hart. On the February 24th Prime Time Wrestling Hart took on the Mountie in a Royal Rumble rematch. Hart won the match by disqualification after the Nasty Boys interfered. Piper would come to the ring and aid Hart in clearing the Mountie and the Nasties from the ring. Hart would hand Piper his belt which he had dropped in the melee, but let it be known that the belt was his and he was taking it back. After a brief but heated staredown, Piper would leave the ring. On the March 2nd Prime Time Wrestling Piper took on Rick "The Model" Martel in a rematch from Saturday Night's Main Event Mile High Meltdown when Piper won the title from Martel. Right when it looked Piper was going to put Martel away with a sleeper hold, the Mountie would interfere and break it up to draw a disqualification. Martel and Mountie would double team Piper until Hart would return the favor and make the save for the Hot Rod. After clearing Martel and Mountie from the ring, Hart and Piper would again exchange words. However this time when Piper went to leave, Mountie would hit Hart from behind and knock him into Hot Rod. Piper and Hart then would nearly come to blows before officials came to break them up. On the March 16th Prime Time Hart and Piper would join forces to take on Martel and Mountie. Despite their confrontations in the weeks prior, Hart and Piper would function well as a team and score the win when Hart forced Mountie to submit to the sharpshooter. However after the match Martel would blindside Hart by smashing him repeatedly with Piper's championship belt. Piper would then take his belt away from Martel and scare him from the ring. However when Hart came to his senses he would see Piper with the belt and think he was the one who attacked him, leading to another near fight that was broken up by officials before it could escalate. Then on March 29th March to Wrestlemania special Piper took on Shawn Michaels in a non title match. After the referee was knocked down Michaels manager and main squeeze, "Sensational" Sherri, would interfere and take her boot off so Shawn could use it as a weapon against Piper. Michaels would swing the boot at Piper's head but the Hot Rod ducked and nailed him with a right hand, causing the Boy Toy to drop the weapon. Hart would then come to the ring and toss the boot to Piper for him to use. However just then the referee would come to and see Piper with the boot and disqualify him. Piper yelled at Hart for costing him the match, with Hart not saying a word and then throwing the IC title into the ring towards Piper before leaving ringside. What looked liked a friendly scientific match at Wrestlemania might now be a knock down drag out war. If this happens then one must think the advantage would go to Piper who is the superior brawler. If Hart can make it more of a wrestling match then the Excellence of Execution will have the edge. Regardless of who comes out victorious it should be an all time classic match.

2. Shawn Michaels w/ Sensational Sherri pinned "El Matador" Tito Santana at 10:37 after the teardrop suplex.

4. The Undertaker w/ Paul Bearer pinned Jake "The Snake" Roberts at 6:41 following a tombstone on the floor as Roberts attempted to steal the urn away from Bearer; late in the bout, Taker twice sustained Roberts’ DDT (Robert’s last appearance for nearly 4 years).
5. Bret "Hitman" Hart pinned WWF Intercontinental Champion "Rowdy" Roddy Piper to win the title at 13:50 by kicking off the top turnbuckle while caught in a sleeper, moments after the champion decided against using the time keeper’s bell as a weapon; after the bout, Piper helped Hart to his feet and put the championship belt on him (Piper’s last match for over 2 years).
6. Virgil, Big Boss Man, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, and Sgt. Slaughter defeated Repo Man, The Mountie, and The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) w/ Jimmy Hart at 6:31 when Virgil pinned Knobbs after Sags accidentally hit Knobs with Virgil’s face protector; prior to the bout, Ray Combs from Family Feud introduced the members of the heel team, insulting them with his fabricated survey results before being chased out of the ring.
7. "Macho Man" Randy Savage pinned WWF World Champion Ric Flair w/ Mr. Perfect to win the title at 18:01 with a roll up and using the tights for leverage after blocking a punch and hitting the champion; late in the bout, Miss Elizabeth came ringside to support Savage, despite a number of officials – including Shane McMahon – asking her to return backstage; after the bout, a furious Flair kissed Elizabeth before he was slapped by her and attacked by Savage until officials could pull the injured Savage away.
8. Tatanka pinned Rick "The Model" Martel at 4:31 with a crossbody; prior to the bout, several Lumbee Indians danced in the ring but then left ringside when the match began.
9. The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) defeated WWF Tag Team Champions Money Inc. ("Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase and Irwin R. Schyster) w/ Jimmy Hart via count-out at 8:36 when Dibiase and Hart pulled IRS from the ring, as he was about to sustain Earthquake’s sit-down splash, and all three left ringside.
10. "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith defeated The Berzerker w/ Mr. Fuji by count out at 4:06 after backdropping out of a piledriver and rolling back into the ring before the ten count; after the match Berzerker attacked Smith and threw him out of the ring.
11. "The Rocket" Owen Hart pinned Skinner with a roll up at 2:10 after skinning the cat inside the ring as Skinner’s back was turned.
12. Hulk Hogan defeated Sycho Sid w/ Harvey Wippleman via disqualification at 12:26 when the lights went out with Papa Shango then appearing when they came back on and helping Sid in double teaming Hogan until the Ultimate Warrior’s music played and he ran to the ring to make the save, eventually helping Hogan clear both Shango and Sid from the ring; the show ended with Hogan and Warrior posing in the ring, with pyro going off behind them (Hogan’s last match for nearly a year; Warrior’s surprise return after being gone 4 months).

News and NotesWarrior ReturnsIt was a shock to everyone at Wrestlemania VIII when the Ultimate Warrior made his return to rescue Hulk Hogan from a two on one assault against Sycho Sid and Papa Shango. It was a return that came out of nowhere as the Warrior had not been seen since last November at the Survivor Series. During the event Warrior let his temper get the best of him when he clotheslined official Danny Davis over a bad call. As a result he was suspended by Jack Tunney and disappeared back to Parts Unknown before his sudden reappearance at Wrestlemania. Warrior couldn't have picked a better time to make his return as there's no telling how far Sid and Shango would've gone if not for his timely arrival. While Warrior has been rivals with Hogan in the past there's always been a great deal of mutual respect between the two. The Warrior wasn't going to stand idly by and watch while someone he had a great deal of admiration for was unfairly double teamed two against one. Running to the ring like a bat out of hell he would first go after Shango, leveling him with a clothesline that had so much force behind it that the voodoo master was sent flying over the top rope to the floor. Sid would then level Warrior from behind with a steel chair. However remarkably the blow would have little effect on Warrior who then started to shake the ropes before then taking the chair from Sid and sending him scurrying out of the ring. Sid had been determined to end Hulkamania once and for all and have Hogan taken out of the ring on a stretcher. However the Warrior foiled his plans. Sid now is targeting the Warrior for "sticking his nose in his business" and has vowed to make Warrior's return a short one. Warrior has shown no sign of ring rust from his four month layoff as in his first match back on WWF Superstars of Wrestling he easily defeated Skinner in under two minutes and looked better then ever. Beating Sid won't be so easy though. At the next Saturday Night's Event PPV the two will finally meet one on one in a match. However this won't be just any regular match. Both Warrior and Sycho Sid are two of the most unhinged superstars in the WWF. Most of the time both come off as being completely out of control. Therefore at Saturday Night's Main Event they will be having the first ever Asylum Match in which the loser will be strapped into a straight jacket and be committed. It's safe to say that whoever comes out on the losing end of this encounter will not be seen in quite some time. The Model: Ruffling Tatanka's FeathersSince debuting in February Tatanka has been one of the fastest rising stars to ever step foot in World Wrestling Federation. While many expected great things from Tatanka nobody anticipated for him to move up the ladder as quickly as he has. After just a little over two months Tatanka has already cracked the WWF Top 10 where he currently sits as the number 8 ranked contender. Tatanka faced by far the greatest test in his young career at Wrestlemania VIII when he took on Rick "The Model" Martel. Despite his undefeated record and impressive string of victories Tatanka was considered to be a heavy underdog against the much more experienced Martel. Martel wasn't worried going in as he figured he would make easy work of the young Native American. However in a stunning turn of events Tatanka would score the win on the grandest stage of them all after surprising the Model with a flying bodypress. Martel was fuming after the loss, claiming that it was nothing but a fluke. Always known to be vindictive Martel looked for the perfect opportunity to avenge his loss and humble the young rookie. On the May 2nd Superstars after Tatanka had secured another win, Martel would come down to ringside to taunt his rival. Tatanka would push the Model off the apron when he had turned his back to yell at a heckling fan. This would anger Martel who then challenged Tatanka to fight him outide the ring face to face. However when Tatanka jumped off the apron to confront his nemesis, the Model would spray him in the eyes with his Arrogance cologne. As Tatanka writhed in pain the Model would then rub further salt in the wound by swiping his sacred eagle feathers that had been down to him by his ancestors from generations and generations. Fortunately for Tatanka medical personnel would be quick on the scene and prevent any vision damage with eye drops. However it's the theft of his feathers, which Martel is now wearing as a "fashion statement", that has Tatanka really bent out of shape. Seeing Martel make a mockery of something that's so important to him has Tatanka itching to get the self proclaimed fashion plate of the WWF in the ring one more time where he can prove once and for all that he's the superior wrestler and that his win in their previous battle wasn't a fluke. Opposite Sides of The TracksAt Wrestlemania VIII the Beverly Brothers found out the hard way that you shouldn't "poke the bear". After the Legion of Doom lost the Tag Team Championship to Money Incorporated, thanks to interference from the Beverly's, Hawk and Animal took over a month off to do some soul searching. In their absence the Beverly's and their manager the Genius taunted the LOD, saying that they were cowards who had tucked their tales between their legs and even started calling them the LOS for Legion of Sissies. After winning matches the Beverly's would continue to mock the LOD by painting their defeated opponents faces and putting LOS on their chests. At Wrestlemania VIII the LOD would return to action to take on the Beverly's. However they weren't alone as with them would be their longtime manager Paul Ellering. Ellering would quickly make his presence felt by dropping the Genius with a right hand and throwing him out of the ring. The Beverly's were caught completely off guard and were easily defeated the LOD in just under two minutes. The Beverly's have stated that the loss was a fluke due to them not being prepared for the appearance of Ellering and the LOD ambushing them to quick start the match. They've also stated that if they get a rematch that it will be a different story. They should perhaps be careful what they wish for. Ellering, the brains behind the brawn of the Legion of Doom, is the man who put the Hawk and Animal together. Since the LOD arrived in the WWF nearly two years ago, Ellering has preferred to stay behind the scenes. However after watching his team get unfairly cheated of the championship, he's now decided to take a more hands on approach. Both Hawk and Animal have stated that it's Ellering's shrewdness and attention to detail that turned them from a good team to a great team. They had become a rudderless ship after losing the title. However with Ellering on the scene they feel they now have direction again. Ellering's first goal for his men is to eliminate the Beverly Brothers. The LOD and Beverly's are two teams from very different backgrounds. While the Beverly's grew up wealthy with silver spoons in their mouths in Beverly Hills, the LOD grew up on the tough streets of Chicago having to kick, scratch, and fight for everything they got. While completely vanquishing the Beverly's is the short term goal, the long term goal is to reclaim the championship from the team that cheated them out of it, Money Incorporated. With the mastermind behind the mayhem, Ellering, back in their corner and overseeing things it seems like it's simply inevitable. Surfs UpOne man planning to make big waves in the WWF is Crush. First appearing as a member of the brutal tag team, Demolition, Crush briefly left the WWF last year. However the big man has now returned as his true self. An easy going youngster from Hawaii, Crush enjoys surfing and relaxing on the beach in his spare time. However while a gentle giant outside the ring, there's nothing gentle about him inside it. Crush batters opponents devastating maneuvers such as the spinebuster and tilt a whirl backbreaker before putting them away with a move he calls the Kona Compactor in which he uses his huge hands to squeeze his opponents head in a vice like hold until they have no choice but to submit. Standing 6'7" and weighing over 300 pounds, Crush is believed by many to be the strongest man in the WWF. On top of that he also possesses surprising agility, having the ability to leap off the top rope from great distance to deliver a knee drop or a double axe handle. Crush is a wrestler who seems to have unlimited potential. If he does have one weakness it's perhaps that maybe he's a bit too nice and lacks the killer instinct to be a champion in the WWF despite possessing the physical attributes to do so. This critique will surely be put to the test when he steps into the ring with ruthless rulebreakers such as Skinner, Repo Man, and the Mountie who will do whatever it takes to win a match. However they may learn the hard way not to take kindness for weakness and end up getting Crushed in short order. RankingsSingles"Macho Man" Randy Savage: WWF World Champion(1) 239, Sarasota, FL 1. News and NotesSeparating The Men From The Boys: Can The Hitman Hold Off The Boy Toy?At Wrestlemania VIII Bret Hart knew that to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship that he would have to wrestle the match of his life to defeat "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Despite being bloodied and beaten the Hitman would somehow find the resolve to reverse Piper's sleeper hold by kicking off the turnbuckles and pinning the Hot Scot's shoulders to the mat for a count of three. Something very few men have been able to accomplish. However as difficult as regaining the championship was, holding onto it will prove to be even more of a challenge. At the moment the biggest threat to the Hitman's title is Shawn Michaels. Since entering the singles ranks at the beginning of the year, the conceited superstar has quickly emerged as a serious contender. Prior to Wrestlemania Michaels issued a challenge to the winner of the Piper and Hart match. At the time many felt that Michaels was getting to ahead of himself and looking past "El Matador" Tito Santana, his opponent at Wrestlemania VIII and a former IC Champion in his own right. However Michaels proved himself as a worthy title challenger by soundly defeating the bull fighter after a perfectly executed side suplex. Hart and Michaels match up pretty even evenly. They're about a match in size as both men stand about 6'1" and weigh around 235 pounds. Both are also very quick and are arguably the top two technicians in the sport today with both relying more on speed and technique as apposed to strength and power like a lot of the other top rated wrestlers in the federation. Hart has a slight edge in experience. However one factor that could sway the edge to Michaels favor is the presence of the vixenish "Sensational" Sherri who will surely do anything she can to ensure her "Boy Toy" will walk away with the gold. At the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event Hart will defend his title against Michaels. Will the Hitman be able to knock the arrogant challenger down a few pegs? Or will Shawn Michaels "leave the building" the Intercontinental Champion? Weathering The StormAfter a brief sabbatical "Texas Tornado" Kerry Von Erich recently returned to the WWF. Claiming to have his priorities order the former Intercontinental Champion has rededicated himself to becoming a title holder once again. Since returning it hasn't taken long for the human whirling dervish to get right into the mix of the things. However in the process he's also made some dangerous enemies. Namely mysterious newcomer Papa Shango. On the April 25th Superstars of Wrestling Sycho Sid issued a challenge for the Ultimate Warrior to come to the ring and face him. Sid has been hell bent on destroying Warrior since Wrestlemania VIII when he returned to save Hogan from a two on one attack from the Sycho and Shango. Warrior would hit the ring and take the fight to Sid. However it turns out it was just a ploy as Shango was laying in the weeds and would ambush Warrior and help Sid double team him. Von Erich, who is a long time friend of Warrior, would hit the ring to even the odds and aid the Ultimate one in clearing Sid and Shango from the ring. However backing up the Warrior has also made Von Erich a marked man as he has now become a target of Sid and Shango. While Sid is more focused on Warrior, Shango who it appears is in cahoots with Sid, has targeted Von Erich, claiming that Tornado has now entered his "dark circle". At the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event PPV Von Erich and Shango will have a chance to settle the score when they go one on one. Jolting The SargeAnother rivalry that's emerged in the fallout of Wrestlemania is between two of the most authoritative wrestlers in the WWF in Sgt. Slaughter and The Mountie. On the April 18th Superstars of Wrestling Mountie would easily defeat young Bill Pierce. However after the match the Canadian Lawman would continue to attack Pierce with his electric cattle prod. Slaughter who was scheduled for the next match would come to the rescue and send Mountie scurrying from the ring. The following week Slaughter would take on Ric Flair. During the bout Mountie's manager, Jimmy Hart, would come to ringside carrying a large case. Mountie would soon join him and unlock the case to reveal a new super cattle prod with even more volts. After Flair reversed an Irish Whip and sent Slaughter into the corner, his executive consultant, Mr. Perfect, would jump up on the apron to distract referee. Mountie would then strike as he rammed the portable electric chair into Slaughter, rendering him unconscious. Flair would then score the easy pinfall to pick up the victory. Slaughter then had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher as Mountie grabbed the microphone and taunted him from the ring. As a result of this heinous attack WWF President Jack Tunney has ruled that if Mountie uses his new super cattle prod again, which he has named the "Great American Scream Machine", he will be suspended. Fortunately Slaughter has since recovered and is looking to get even with Mountie. At the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event he will get a chance to possibly give Mountie a shock of his own when they do battle in a grudge match. DeparturesJake "The Snake" Roberts and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper are no longer with the WWF.

News and NotesLive and Let Die: Can Warrior Overcome Shango's Curse? In a short period of time Papa Shango has quickly made a believer out of a lot people. After recent events perhaps no one more so then the Ultimate Warrior. On the May 23rd Superstars of Wrestling Shango would reveal that he put a curse on the Warrior. Many quickly dismissed it as mumbo jumbo nonsense. On the May 30th episode of Superstars Warrior would take on Brian Knobbs of the Nasty Boys. During the match Warrior's wrist band would come off. Shango would come down to ringside and take the wrist band before returning backstage. Warrior would go onto to defeat Knobbs after a flying shoulder block and splash even after the Nasty Boy's partner Jerry Sags tried to interfere. However it was what would happen afterwards that would leave fans stunned. As Warrior celebrated his victory, Shango would return to ringside and go into some sort of trance. Suddenly the Warrior began clutching his abdomen before doubling over in pain on the arena floor. Medical staff members would tend to Warrior before taking him to the first aid room where camera's caught him vomiting. In the weeks to follow Shango has continued to bring terror with his voodoo. Recently before a match with Brian Brieger Shango would once again go into a trance. Suddenly the lights would go out. When they came back on Brieger was laying unconscious in the middle with black goo dripping down his forehead and his feet on fire. During a recent interview Warrior would vow to defeat Shango's black magic when suddenly the same black goo started dripping down his forehead. Even announcers aren't save from Shango's voodoo. Recently "Mean" Gene Okerlund would have the uneviable task of interviewing Shango. After it appeared Shango was finished and about to leave, Okerlund made the mistake of expressing relief when the voodoo master was still close by. Suddenly Okerlund's arm went numb with the goo dripping down it. With the powers he possesses it appears Shango is unstoppable. However if there's one man could possibly stop him it's the Warrior who recently vanquished the maniacal Sycho Sid, another man who it also appeared couldn't be stopped. However the supernatural forces that Shango seems to possess could possibly be too much for even Warrior to overcome. Contempt From Cell Block CShortly before Wrestlemania VIII mysterious vignettes of an unnamed and unseen inmate from the Department of Corrections in Cobb County, Georgia began to air. In the vignettes the convict claimed that he had been abused by the Big Boss Man and that soon he was about to released and that as soon as he was free he would be coming for the former prison guard. Boss Man didn't seem to be too worried about the threats as he had dealt with plenty of jaded inmates with axes to grind. In May the convict would be released from prison. However instead of attacking Boss Man right away, he would instead elect to stalk him from afar and play mind games. Prior to and after a few of Boss Man's televised matches, a deep voice would appear over the PA system threatening the Boss Man, claiming that he had done his time and that he was coming for him. After these threats an uncharacteristic look of panic and fear appeared on Boss Man's face. On the May 23 episode of Superstars the convict would finally appear for the first time on camera and he would quickly make his presence felt in a very physical and brutal way. After Boss Man had defeated Dave Roulette, a large man with blonde hair in a prison jump suit would rush through the crowd and jump over the rail before leveling Boss Man from behind with his own nightstick. What would follow was perhaps the most brutal beating in WWF history as the convict would handcuff pummel the Boss Man with the nightstick, first hitting repeatedly in the ribs before then delivering a horrific shot to his right leg that appeared to possibly break it. However the convict wasn't done as he then handcuffed Boss Man's hands behind his back before delivering some hard kicks and then delivering kneelift to the face of his victim. When it was finally over the Boss Man was left beaten and broken in the ring. As a result of the beating Boss Man is now out of action indefinitely. It was later revealed that the name of the convict is Nailz which is a name that was given to him by his fellow inmates. In his first several matches Nailz has displayed absolutely no wrestling ability what so ever. Instead just using brute force and relentlessly destroying his opponents with punches, kicks, and chokes. Nailz has quickly become perhaps the most dangerous man in the WWF as every opponent he has faced as had to be taken from the ring on a stretcher. One man who doesn't appear to be afraid of Nailz is Virgi. Virgil a good friend of the Boss Man has stepped up to the plate for his pal and has vowed to avenge his beating at the hands of the crazed former convict. Unfortunately he might be just running a fools errand. Nailz says that where he was the last several years that there was an unwritten rule. That rule being that nobody stuck their nose in somebody's else business and that Virgil will suffer the same beating that the Boss Man got. Sword In The SandOn the April 18th episode of WWF Superstars Mr. Fuji issue a challenge to the Undertaker for a match with his Berzerker on the following week's broadcast. Not many issue challenges to Undertaker as he's perhaps the most feared man in the WWF. It was clear right from the start that Fuji was once again up to one of his devious tricks. Undertaker and Paul Bearer accepted the challenge and the following week on Superstars the man from the darkside would take on Berzerker. However the match would never have a chance to get under way. After Paul Bearer gave his urn to the referee Fuji would then take it away from the official. Berzerker would then take his shield and level Bearer before doing the same to Undertaker as he was stalking Fuji. After beating Undertaker down with the shield the Berzerker would then attempt to do the unthinkable as he then tried to impale Undertaker with his sword. Fortunately Undertaker would sit up just in the nick of time with the sword then sticking into the ring. Berzerker would continue the attack as he knocked Undertaker out of the ring with a clothesline and then pulled up the arena floor mats before delivering a piledriver on the exposed concrete. While most men's careers would be ended up from such a move, Undertaker would remarkably sit up and then begin stalk his foe with Fuji having to hold his man back. Along with his incredibly durability and toughness, one of the Undertaker's greatest assets is intimidation. However the Berzerker is so wild and out of control that the intimidation tactics that work on the rest of Undertaker's opponents won't be as successful against him. On the other hand it's very well that Berzerker has bit off more then he could chew picking a fight with someone so dangerous. Either way it appears these two are on another collision course. One that could possibly lead to one or maybe both being taken out of the WWF for good. Repo Man: Tries To Tame The BulldogRepo Man has claimed on multiple occasions that he loves his work. However what he disliked most about his job as a Repo Man was dogs as with their barking as they would draw attention when he was trying to reposwess cars. In his other line of work in the WWF he's been at odds with another dog, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith. On the May 3rd episode of Wrestling Challenge Repo Man would take on the Bulldog in a one on one contest. As it turns out this wouldn't be the day for the British Bulldog. After the two men went back and forth for several minutes it looked like the Bulldog was getting the upper hand as he hoisted Repo Man up for his running powerslam finishing move. Unfortunately for Davey Boy in the process of doing so the Repo Man's legs struck referee Danny Davis, knocking him unconscious. As Bulldog then tried to slam him, the craft Repo Man would grab onto his tow rope in the corner. As a result he slipped off he was able to escape the powerslam with Bulldog also injuring his shoulder. Repo Man would then attack Bulldog with the tow rope before wrapping it around his neck and throwing him over the top rope, hanging him. Officials would rush to ringside to stop the violent attack. Fortunately the thick neck of the Bulldog saved him from major injury as he was back in action after just a few weeks. Nonetheless he still wants another match with Repo Man to get revenge on the man who hung him. While Repo Man has gained the upper hand so far in this rivarly it might turn out that he was barking up the wrong tree by drawing the ire of the powerful Englishman.
