The only reason I have watched back then was to Metal Fan mark out for Rowan's T-Shirts

YO, WHAT THE f*** WAS THIS?! I HAD TOTALLY FORGOTTEN! WHAT THE f*** WAS THIS?! We really got no resolution to this shit whatsoever. Full disclosure, I absolutely loved Mania 35 that year - but wow 2019 at its worst was really WWE at its worst. It's wild to remember that Brock squashing Kofi and the Hell in a Cell DQ was in *the same weekend* and then AEW premiered on TNT *less than a week later*.

Out of all the times WWE dropped the ball in 2019, not pushing Fake Rowan was truly their biggest blunder.

Was this the year that WWE had Lars Sullivan feud with Lucha House Party and have him win a 3 on 1 match in Saudi Arabia?

2019 also apparently had Tyson 'recently divorced dad living in a studio apartment' Fury in some kind of match that I have purged from the memory banks

Speaking of the weird Bryan summer 2019 crap, I’m still wondering what his career-altering announcement is going to be.

I recall vividly the episode of Raw before Hell in a Cell, and the main event was Rusev Vs. Rollins for the Universal Championship.
Rusev has Rollins in serious trouble and then Bobby Lashley's Music hits and he comes out to the ring with Lana, and they have I shit you not a couple minute long makeout session while Rusev stands in the ring slackjawed and staring in horror at his very public cuckolding, which gives Seth Rollins time to recover and hit the stomp to win. Then the Fiend comes out and Seth Rollins is hiding in the corner screaming in terror of the Fiend as the show goes off the air.
Keep in mind this was the week of the Dynamite premier, and they basically buried their Universal Champion and one of their most consistently over stars in one fell swoop. Not just bad booking, but overall incompetence in management there.

Seems like the year that has a 9 in it aint to kind to WWE
almost certain we had separate threads this past month on how 1999 and 2009 were the worse years in WWE. Maybe we should all be prepared when 2029 comes around

Miz vs Shane at Mania where Shane literally wouldn't stop kicking out of everything and won cause Miz died trying to figure out how to keep him down is one of the funniest matches I've ever seen. Crack won so hard that day.

Oh f*** I forgot they STARTED the Rowan cage storyline in late 2019 only to pay it off a couple months later with the spider puppet
