How do you feel about the way Tony Khan handled the CM Punk/Jack Perry situation? Do you feel he made the right decision in firing Punk and suspending Perry?

I think Punk should've been canned after Brawl Out, but yes, 100% with Tony on firing him.
It sounds like Perry still has some growing up to do, too, so I think a short suspension is deserved as well.

He made the right call. I absolutely understand those who felt he should have fired Punk a year ago, and I'd have felt that warranted, but clearly, there was a lot of ambiguity, or at least, (un)plausible deniability. It happening in front of a shitload of witnesses and cameras? It was time.

Jungle Ass suspended for a decent length spell and Punk fired is about the best way to do it.
Punk’s ass should have been gone last year though. Dude is a poison.

Yes. Providing Perry's suspension is relatively short. I suspect it's as much to take him out the firing line as it is punishment.
(Assuming Perry didn't physical first that is, if he did then a longer suspension is fine too, even if it was just a slight shove)

Would've been right to can Punk last year. Now, completely and utterly right, absolutely the right decision by TK.

Tony should have fired Punk last year after Brawl Out, but at least Tony finally did it.

I see Dax Harwood lurks here.
And as for my answer, Punk should've been canned after Brawl Out, even if that meant buying out the remainder of his contract.

He made the only decision he could, whether it’s the right one is tough to say. It takes a ton of guts to fire the biggest draw in company history. It depends on the lens in which it is being judged.

I’ve said this several times but I believed that Punk did deserve a second chance after brawl out due to his star power and the potential for a money making program with the Elite. All Punk had to do was behave himself and eventually it would happen. However after the hangman toy shot and the absurdity of Brawl in, it was too much too soon and you know he was going to continue the behavior. Absolute right call, even though it’s hard to see one of my favorites (as well as Tony’s favorite) go down like that

Unless it was all Jack Perry's fault and it just got out of control towards Kahn I don't see how he couldn't. It might hurt business short term but they can survive and move on cause otherwise you lose the locker room

Should've been done last year, but as many have said, better late than never. So yes, he eventually smartened up and did the right thing.

I 100% support Tony's decision. He should have done it much earlier, IMHO.

The best time to fire CM Punk would have been a year ago. The second best time was when he did.

Unfortunately had to be done. I get why he tried to make it work, but it got to the point where every other week something was coming out and it was only one side doing it. At that point there's one way for this to end.
As for Jack Perry's suspension. I agree with it, and as I said in the Punk thread, it's a situation where the question is why? Saying trying to get heel heat doesn't work as most if not all of the crowd would not have heard it. Not his fault Punk overreacted obviously, but very much felt less of Perry wanting heel heat and more of Perry wanting to poke the bear.
