They are like watching the rock n roll express in the 2010s. Hell, I saw the Rock n Roll Express have a banger with D’lo Brown and Doc Gallows in 2013. I think the Express wins this one.

They had a banger against PNP at Spring Break 3 too. I dont think the Hardyz around these guys ages could pull that off.

Two people who have f***ed up so many times that it would take actual research to get a reasonable count should keep their mouths shut, cash their paychecks and pray no one notices how much they're being paid.

I think it's probably a work but don't bury one of the shows in the process. We all know Rampage comes third in the list of AEW's priorities (as any show in that time slot would) but don't say the quiet part out loud.

I think this is 100% a work, and I also suspect that the Hardyz aren't even really that disgruntled.
I just question doing this particular type of worked shoot when the most prominent criticism of the company most places is that no one wants to be there and that everyone wishes they could go to WWE. Just feels like you're unnecessarily stoking fires for a Z-tier storyline.

Just feels like you're unnecessarily stoking fires for a Z-tier storyline. It's not really that though, like I don't love the MJF bidding war stuff because it always sounds a bit like he wants to be in WWE, even if that's not the case. But this? They're saying they want to be on Dynamite. The people who genuinely want to be elsewhere never get given the chance to say so tbf, Andrade never did any worked shoot promo's on his return talking about leaving, Miro never talks about wanting to leave, guys like Pillman Jr left without a word, Jade was totally out of the blue with most people dismissing Meltzer saying she might be done and despite rumours of Malakai, Buddy etc preferring to be elsewhere none of them ever talk about it on air, MJF talks about it yet most think he may have even signed a new deal already. A lot of the "everyone wants to be in WWE" stuff is just WWE astroturfing, I agree they'd be smart not to play up to it but I don't think this storyline is going down that route and I think they trust their fans to be smart enough to see through those WWE influenced reports and see that an awful lot of people do want to be in AEW, hence most of the big free agents picking them over WWE in recent memory, with mostly guys who already floundered or flat out failed in WWE looking to redeem themselves under HHH linked with going there.

Supposed it is a work, what exactly is the gain in burying your supposed 2nd tier show?

Could be wrong but that feels like the most obvious work, genuinely stunned people are reading it as a shoot. Isn't it the exact same sort of tone they took in their Rampage interview? They even said something about putting them on Dynamite to pop a rating, and acted ultra heelish and arrogant towards Private Party. They've been subtly acting more like heels for ages anyway, right back to after they lost to the Elite and maybe even before then. I think there's one big factor involved here; you do not go to your boss with "Hey I have a cool creative idea for a story; what if I was angry that I can only get booked on the C show and I campaigned specifically to get myself booked onto the A show?" unless you're angry you're only getting booked on the C show and angling for a story hook with the only real payoff of getting yourself booked on the A show. Nobody pitches these stories because they're happy with where they are

That corner botched looked awful. After Sting retires it is probably time for the Hardys to have a few matches on a retirement tour and have one last match vs. Edge and Christian.

I really feel like if this is worked, it is a really stupid work when there are talent openly complaining for real
This would be like WWF in 1993 booking a heel called Ste Roid who accuses everyone of being on the gas

The rock and roll express are scheduled to appear at ASW’s “Bash In Beckley IV” (“West Virginia’s Wrestlemania” - Matt Cardona) this June…

If it's a work then idk why Jeff would delete the post
Idk, this feels like such a weird thing. Like yeah it could be, this could be a new gimmick attempt, but then there'd be no reason to delete the post if it was would there?
It's coming off like they're complaining when in reality they have no one to blame but themselves. They felt like they were one show away from winning the tag belts and getting a thank you run and Jeff f***ed it up. I wouldn't trust them either, for awhile at the very least, and this would make it even harder to if it isn't a work.

I'll reserve judgment until I see it but I'll give it a chance but I'm not expecting much at the same time. Did get a LOL out of me with ''Bucks of Youth'' though.
